I ordered the steak and shrimp rice bowl. Its new, I'm a foodie, so let's try. The flavors are there but the wedges are a bad idea . As you see in my photo, I had to pull them out in order to enjoy the dish. Next time I'll opt out of the wedges because they detract from the dish entirely. I ate at L.A. Bistro three times and have a general sense of the offerings, but it doesn't have me craving more. I would describe it as homestyle Mediterranean, Middle Eastern, and European fusion. Fusion can work, but it is rarely a type of cuisine that impresses me. There is something missing from authentic cuisine. The Almond Chicken is a popular dish. I've tried it with the Spaghetti Aglio Olio. I've also tried the Calamari, Gamberi Sandwich, and Steak Portobello Rollup. My favorites were the Calamari and the Spaghetti Aglio Olio with Almond Chicken. The pasta and rice entrees can be pretty greasy. It isn't a place I'd go out of my way to eat at, but it is a safe bet for a casual lunch or dinner in Canton, not a city with top-of-the-line cuisine. read more

Mom and I were out and about and wanted to try a new place. This had been on our list for a while, so we decided to give it a try and we are happy we finally did! We got seated pretty quickly. The staff were all very warm and welcoming. We each got the lemon chicken rice soup to ward off the chill from outside and it was some of the best I've ever had. Both our entrees were huge portion-wise and delicious. Mom had some leftovers of her chicken picatta to take home. Mine was a wrap which I didn't think would keep well with the dressing. This is a lovely little spot off the beaten path in Canton. It's worth looking for. The food is really tasty, and the portions are ginormous. Decor is nicely done. The staff are super attentive. Our waiter was fantastic. It's the kind of place where you'll never have to ask for anything, things will just appear as if by magic. I started with a little seafood soup number. If I'd have known how huge my entree was going to be, I would have skipped it. What a shame that would have been because the soup was delicious. It is a definite hearty type of chowder but with a lemon wedge, green onion, and creme fraiche to liven it up. I'm so glad I had it to heat up today, it's just as tasty. For my main dish, I went with almond chicken. The chicken was perfectly fried with a creamy sauce on top studded with sun-dried tomato. The rice was fluffy, and the veggies were expertly seasoned. I ended up bringing half home. It also reheated tasting amazing. My husband had the fettuccine Alfredo with grilled chicken. He really liked the pasta and said his chicken was super tender and juicy. It was a very generous portion, and he took some home too. Everything here was just superb. I can't think of a single complaint. There was a good crowd dining in and a party room full next to the dining room, but it was so peaceful and organized. Try it. I think you'll love it. read more

The chicken caesar roll up is to die for compared to any other place in the area; most places it tastes cheap.. I love the customer service i receive here, it's definitely a regulars type of place. I feel this place is a hidden gem for the location and should be your ideal spot to bring family or have a little lunch date. Summary- I will never EVER return to this place again due to poor customer service. Food was ok. When my fiance and I arrived, the host immediately turned around, walked into the kitchen and spoke to an older gentleman which seemed to be an akward argument for about 10-15 seconds. We couldnt hear what was being said but the bizarre moment still made us feel unwelcomed as if one person was trying to justify us being seated. The older gentleman walked out of the kitchen grabbed a tablet and started walking towards the dining area without ever exchanging eye contact or displaying any sort of gesture to us and after about 20 feet, he turned around and annoyingly said "follow me" which was strange because there was no greeting as he came from the kitchen we thought he was just going somewhere possibly to check with other guests. When we sat down is when the service was truly awful. This older lady was our server and MAN was she truly stretching the role of "server" in regards to our experience. Excuse my language but she was a total bitch to my fiance and I for no reason. I typically smile at everyone act politely so I was confused as to why she was very short with us and seemed impatient to take our order. Im talking, she walked up to us, asked what we wanted, wrote it down and left. It was definitely making us feel weird about our environment. The food itself was decent and the cook who brought out our food was very nice which was a first for our overall experience. When we were ready to go, we asked for the check and it was dropped off promptly. I then took out my card and the woman passed by and said she would grab it in a a second which is fine but on her way back she decided to stop by the table in front of me and have a (not even bsing) 10 minute conversation with the family sitting and eating. It got to the point where I started to think I should just get up and go because I was tired of waiting for her and she was the only person waiting tables. Id understand if she was working but she was just talking. We thought maybe she was having a bad day but she seemed cheerful when speaking to the other guests. I've passed this place dozens of times! Finally decided to go on a random evening, and I'm glad I did! Everything from the appetizers to the entree was scrumptious! Just yummy to my tummy! Might I also add that the chef in the kitchen knows how to cook meats perfectly! My lamb chops and salmon were cooked to the perfect temperature ! The only thing that needed a little bit more love was the mashed potatoes. Some butter, some salt, some pepper.... something. Just kind of bland. We had the Mediterranean wrap and shrimp sandwich and both were thumbs up. They are a bit heavy handed on the sauces but they were good. The fries are crispy wedges and quite tasty. The pita bread that is brought at the beginning is different and addictive. The restaurant is attractive but the seat back could use a good cleaning. When we walked in we were told there was a 25 minute wait & we were seated shortly after 5 minutes. They did make us wait to be seated even when they had empty tables. Nice ambience. No alcohol served. Their menu is on a tablet. Ordered : Almond Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo pasta and Firecracker chicken Almond Chicken was served on a rice bed with sautéed veggies and cream sauce. Chicken was tender and coated with light breading. It was perfectly prepared. But the rice was extremely bland, it could have been little more flavorful. Fettuccine Alfredo Pasta was decent. For starters they give a basket of warm pita pockets with butter. All the entries comes with home or Cesar salad. Caesar salad was good. Waitress was rarely available and only occasionally checked to see if we needed anything. Slow service. Overall I feel a bit high priced for what you get. read more

I'm hoping it's as good as the one in Dearborn. I've been going to the one in Dearborn for decades. It's also close to my office, before the pandemic. Are usually tend to like their spicy chicken or their chicken Caesar roll up with their seasoned potato wedges and house salad. They are open until 10pm on Saturdays. It's almost double the size of the one in Dearborn and there appears to be a little pergola patio on the side as well. I like the music playing in the background, a cool French rendition of dream a little dream of me. Some great bossa nova music too, O Barquinho and others. They are definitely short staffed. Took us a while to get seated. A woman was on her lunch break and seated us. Brianna is waiting on us today. She's sweet. We ordered a chicken Caesar roll up with a house salad and potato wedges and a cup of chicken lemon rice soup and a chicken portabella with the sriracha chicken meat in it. The pita pockets were piping hot, good, not a sweet as I am used to. The house salad is a bit different from what I remember, it's much bigger too. It's still a good salad and I like the added Parmesan to the house salad now. Ended up with a cup instead of bowl. The chicken lemon rice soup was scalding hot, it's nice and hearty and has some nice white chicken meat pieces in it too. Good flavor. The chicken Caesar is good as always. Everything I have ever tried here has been outstanding. Somehow they create just the right blend of sauces, spices and preparation for every dish. Service is fast and friendly. They have an easy-to-use electronic tablet to display the menu so can see a photo and detailed description of every dish. Um, interesting. I'm not sure what to say. Tries to be "fine dining" but you're sitting in a slightly upgraded diner. No alcohol. The dishes are mostly in the $18-$35 range, though you could spend $85 on a steak if you wanted to. (Not here, please). All of the dishes I saw were smothered in the same white cream sauce, which tasted like a ton of butter and cream. I'm a little suspicious of all the positive reviews. From the moment I walked in the door I was impressed. The whole restaurant was nice and very clean. The decor is very modern and classy looking. The service was great! The food was great from the way it tasted to the presentation. I loved everything from my appetizer, salad, and main course. Everything was delicious! My mom and I ordered delivery from here and, based on the reviews, I admit I had high expectations and they were totally met! We were in the mood for serious comfort food so I got the Linguine Frutti Di Mare ("shrimp, scallops and mussels tossed with linguine noodles in lemon garlic cream sauce") and my mom get the Chicken Portobello Rice Bowl ("grilled chicken, sautéed portobello mushroom, green pepper and onion, served over a bed of warm basmati rice topped with jack and cheddar cheese, pesto ranch, and our house salad") and holy cow-- the portions were HUGE. We both easily got two meals out of our dishes (I reheated mine on the stove top in a pot and it was just as I had it the first day. My mom's was massive. I think she could have gotten 3 meals from it, to be honest. And it was just $13! My pasta was a little pricier but the seafood kicked it up a few notches on the price point. But it was worth it as the seafood was perfectly cooked and very fresh. We also ordered some hummus to keep on hand for the next few days for a snack and it was delicious. Creamy and perfectly seasoned. We'll definitely be adding it to the regular rotation, though next time we may do pick up since it's actually pretty down close to my mom's house. Hubby and I visited this location for an early dinner (1:30 pm) on Valentine's Day. We were seated and handed small tablets to browse the menu. Our waitress came over quickly with a small basket of pita bread and she asked us if we knew how to use the tablets (they were easy to use). I decided on a chicken rice bowl which came with a salad in the same bowl (see pic). Although I liked the salad and the rice with chicken, I'm not sure I enjoyed them both in the same bowl. Some of my salad was mixed in with the chicken and rice (I don't mind mixed food but salad and hot food?). The chicken was tender and had good flavor. I wasn't thrilled with the salad dressing on the salad. I liked this dish but I would definitely try something different next time. Hubby ordered the chicken Parmesan. He loved the chicken. So tender and flavorful. I tried it too and I thought it was the best I've ever had. Hubby said the spaghetti and sauce were also very good! He would definitely get this dish again!!
