I love having this Plymouth location! It's a smaller (& maybe simpler looking) restaurant, however the service was excellent and super friendly! The restaurant is mostly booths and got busiest after 7pm. The food was fabulous as always, I had a chicken schwarma sandwich and lentil soup. My friends also got the fattoush salad with chicken and hummus. The pita bread came straight out of the oven with some garlic sauce. Delicious as always as the pita bread is a favorite! La Marsa is a staple, love that they have multiple convenient locations! I think the nicest location that I've been to is probably the one in FH on Drake & Grand River (or maybe Troy) but the Plymouth location is perfect for convenient carry out. Yum! read more

La Marsa has become a new favorite! They have the fresh, brick-oven baked bread served piping hot when you arrive. It is so hard to stop myself from gobbling these up! My husband and I are both obsessed with the half deboned chicken (white meat only), with the classic lemon-oregano sauce. The chicken has a bit of a char, but is still juicy. The sauce is a perfect balance of garlicky and herby goodness, with the bright snap of lemon. It's delicious! The chicken comes with two sides. I usually get hummus as a side, along with the roasted vegetables. My husband always eats half my hummus, so I get some of his rice. All the sides are delicious, except I wish the roasted vegetables had fewer green peppers. I'm just not a fan of them. The service is always super friendly and attentive. Love La Marsa! read more

First time at the Plymouth location and the food was good! I had the chicken tawoook and fries. The bread and garlic sauce was tasty. Service was ok - nothing bad but not outstanding. They would serve themselves well to update the restaurant and make it more inviting like other locations. I would do take out again but probably wouldn't dine in. read more

Great food, great service. Did an online order and pick it up--while waiting for the finishing touches before getting my order, a server was placing so Baklava onto a plate. He saw me salivating and gave me and my pal a piece each on the house. This is the kinda of family owned love I have missed in the restaurant world as of late. I wanted to try something new so my friend and I went to La Marsa in Plymouth. This is a franchise and we discovered most of the food is prepared at an off site kitchen and brought in to the restaurant. We were told to sit anywhere upon arrival. Our server greeted us and took our drink order. We started with the babaganoush. It was smoky and delicious. The homemade bread was hot and so good. We then shared the Greek salad. Cold,fresh and well dressed. I ordered the spinach pies and my friend had the Koshary, an authentic Egyptian meal. On the menu it states mild or spicy. She was not asked for a spice level. The fried onions on top of the dish were greasy. The spinach pies were tasty but could have been filled more. The service was good but when it came time to pay we were informed their system was down and had been down for over a day and we either had to pay cash or leave our credit card information with them for them to charge the bill later. Why not inform the diner before placing an order in case they don't have cash and/or are not comfortable leaving their information? Luckily we could pay cash. Overall, good food, good service, clean quiet space but , a few missteps. read more

You walk in to an open space with exotic beaded lights; very beautiful design. The service was personal and accommodating. The food was delicious. Yesterday I got food from laMarsa Plymouth. The restaurant has been open for a few weeks. The place is very welcoming great service and even most importantly the food was fantastic.
