Although the home fries are very delicious, I really wish the restaurant would stop using styrofoam containers for hot food. Not only is the styrofoam toxic when it's heated but it's disappointing when you open your takeout bag and are greeted with a giant hole at the bottom of the container with everything spewing out . I received a breakfasts meal carryout as a gift over years ago and I thought the food was ok but never made a purchase directly from the the restaurant. Since it's been almost impossible to get a decent meal from anywhere I finally made my why to this familiar place. The restaurant is extremely small and only has about 5 booths and 5 tables. Service was fast and the food was very delicious. We purchased a western omelette and kids meal ( pancakes with fresh strawberry). All the items including the hash browns were cooked well. I would definitely recommend this place and return to eat in or carry out. read more

It's difficult to find restaurants in the suburbs that offer grits, let alone cook them well. The grits are so smooth, creamy, and cheesy. I want to try more on the menu but so far my go-to breakfast order is the Classic Breakfast. Even though it's a simple meal my scrambled eggs and sausage were cooked perfectly. I like that the sausages are large patties rather than small links. Takeout is simple to order on the Biscuits & Gravy website. I generally avoid long lines, whether at stores or restaurants. That might explain why it took so long to get to Biscuits and Gravy, a brunch place I had on my radar for years. Everything looked good as I scrolled through the photos on Yelp (cinnamon swirl pancakes, red velvet pancakes, waffles, crab bennies) so I did not have a plan going in. But one thing was certain, I intended to have the biscuits and gravy. It is the name of the restaurant and I have loved this dish from the first time I had it. I was lucky that by the time I entered, the brunch crowd had moved on and a table had opened up. This is another good thing about taking care of my household chores before heading out for nourishment. In addition to the biscuits and gravy, I wanted something savory and healthy-ish so I went with the Greek skillet, which included eggs, gyro meat, spinach, diced tomatoes, onions, and feta. The skillet also had country-style potatoes, generally not my favorite but good here, and a biscuit. Usually, I also try to order something sweet as a side, like a pancake so there is a variety of flavors to try However, this wasn't on the menu so I went without. I added a side of pork gravy, which I don't often indulge in. The meal was tasty and incredibly filling and somewhat healthy, except for the carbs. I was only a third of the way in before reaching the full point so I have plenty of food for the next day. Incidentally, the server was fantastic. She was friendly, quick, and on the ball. This is one of mine favorite restaurants to come eat breakfast. I am never disappointed. My daughter and I tried the Belgium waffles out this time instead of our normal go-to breakfast. She got the bacon cheddar waffle and I got the cinnamon swirl one. It was so delicious. We also got their potatoes pancakes which are very good too! My family and I love this place so much. We come here frequently. If you haven't visited yet, shame on you!!! Lol The waitress was very nice and so pleasant to be around! If you come here on the weekends there is usually a wait. Good breakfast places are not hard to find in and around the city of Canton. Biscuits & Gravy is definitely an option worth exploring, but it can be easy to miss since it's tucked inside a plaza and not visible from the main road. Alas I did notice it and came hungry for some early morning delights. I decided on the avocado scrambled eggs w/home fries, some turkey sausage and a biscuit. At the end of it I was satisfied enough with my meal, but I would be lying if I said I didn't have a few complaints. For one nothing really stood out to me as "omg this is great". I wasn't a fan of the fact that the cheese on my eggs were not melted. The biscuit (which I'm assuming is famous based on the name of the restaurant) was delicious admittedly, but when I tried cutting it it just disintegrated into a powder. I wanted to eat it with my eggs and sausage like a mini egg sandwich, but unfortunately I just had to mix it into my eggs and consume it that way. Maybe some people like this type of loose biscuit. I much prefer mine to be more firm. My favourite thing here were the home fries, and truthfully if that's all I ordered I think I would have enjoyed this experience a little more. I think this menu looks good enough that I'll come back and try other things with better results, but just based on this one visit I definitely felt underwhelmed. The best breakfast place in Canton, in my opinion. Love the breakfast quesadilla and get it every time, but everyone I've ever gone with loves the food. The biscuits are huge and amazing. The owner (I assume) is sweet and has come over on many occasions. Great homemade soups too, in case you like that before breakfast..lol. Never had lunch there, but assume it's equally good. Looking for a new breakfast spot and found Biscuit and Gravy! Easy to find, lots of parking! Once we got there, we were able to our name on a waiting list. We came during peak breakfast time and the wait was only 15 minutes! Our server was great! We started with coffee and water. We ordered the lox Benedict with avocado and hollandaise on the side. I'm not a fan of hollandaise in general since Benedict are always made with poached eggs. That's always saucy enough for me! I got the hollandaise sauce on the side just in case. Can't comment since I didn't try the sauce. My husband got the B&G omelette. It comes with your choice of a side and toast or a biscuit. It was a ton of food!! He opted for pirates and marble rye toast. He filled up on the omelette. He had potatoes and all the toast left over. The portions are generous! Love how causal the vibe is. This was a damn good brunch moment. Huge and delicious portions are to be had here! The pancakes were a dream! Perfectly fluffy and oh so delicious. Some of the fancy pancakes on the menu sound great but their plain pancakes are soo perfect I don't know if I'd be able to stray from them. I really enjoyed my Spanish omelet. The chorizo was so good and with the peppers had the perfect amount of spice to it. It also comes with a huge side of potatoes which are also delicious! I also had to try the biscuits and gravy and I was definitely not disappointed! Flavorful with the most perfect combination of sausage, gravy and biscuits! Was very pleased with the service as well!
