Local diner to where my kiddos are staying. Staff is friendly and food is good. I ordered the oatmeal and the serving was HUGE. Prices are also very fair with large portion sizes. read more

I have been here twice in the last two weeks and the food is great and staff wonderful and friendly. Will definitely be back. Big portions.

I only order the big breakfast so far. Good all three times, the last though, was a bit greasy. The meat and potatoes were greasy. Everything else was good. I will keep ordering, I rather like the breakfast! read more

I was looking for a carry out lunch and they didn't disappoint. The Turkey club was delicious and wasn't lacking in Turkey. Very plentiful. The grilled chicken sandwich was so moist and very tasty. Going to have to come back to eat in and experience the in-person service. It seems very cozy and probably good for a quiet conversation. read more

I've never actually been in the restaurant, but I've ordered breakfast from them numerous times through GrubHub. The food is delicious and fresh and the portions are huge, I highly recommend them. read more

Had not been to this strip mall diner in a few years so was pleasantly surprised by recent visit. Friend and I were first customers on a Saturday morning and food was perfect. I consider it a true diner since we were able to get a breakfast item and a fresh- made salad at 8:00 in the morning. Pictures are worth a thousand . . . See pics! Could only finish about half of the toast (still worth it) & friend took home 3/4 of her salad. read more

I was running early for a morning meeting ... so I had time for a quick breakfast. I was the only customer at 8:30AM. I ordered breakfast special #1. The meal arrived promptly, correct and hot. Service was excellent. The waitress asked that I not mention her name, so I won't. Restroom? Clean Dining room? Yes. Parking? Ample WiFi? I do not remember. I think, not. Will I return? I am seldom in this area ... and it's not worth the 25-mile drive. But; yeah, I would eat here again without fussing. read more

So surprised but the food was VERY DELICIOUS! Staff were also awesome for it to be a small grill the food knocked me out.

Boy do I love a great greasy spoon! My buddy loves this joint and comes here every Sunday for breakfast with her roommates. This morning she had the day off and said "let me show you the way..." so we met here for a late breakfast nibble. I was a very happy camper walking out. The menu isn't fancy and they've got your typical kind of Coney Island fare--coneys (buy 3 get one free!), sandwiches, burgers, etc. And of course the wonder that is the "breakfast at anytime." Friend one ordered the pancakes and these suckers are HUGE. Massive cakes served either two or three on a plate (I didn't count but I was impressed by the sheer volume of pancake that was going on on the table). Friend two got an omelet and hash browns which was also my order although I went egg white Western, filled with yummy bits of ham, cheese, onions and green peppers. Maybe it's just been a while since I've had hash browns but hot damn were these good. Nice and crispy on the outside, warm and mushy on the outside. Larger shreds of potato than most HBs. Oh yes oh yes! The omelet was also tasty. Nothing earth shattering but good quality dinery breakfast food. Also--CHEAP. meals for the 3 of us came out to $22 total. Crazy good. I would also like to remark on the clean bathrooms, super nice staff, and insane quickness in which you get your food. I was done eating within 25 minutes of my arrival. Yep, I'm a fan! read more

My husband and I go there often and for those of you who complain about service, food etc all I can say is everyone has an off day and you should go back--let them know your dissatisfaction so they can "fix" it We usually have breakfast, but have gone for dinner as well Their omelettes are so huge I have to take half home. I totally die for their Greek salad with grilled chicken. The small is actually big enough for two and the chicken is tender, warm, and tasty.I wish I knew what they season it with. Try it again You won't be sorry. read more

I popped in here for a nice meal with my homie and I must say, YOU WILL BE FED! The delicious portions are huge and the food always comes out nice and tasty. I am not a drinker, so I don't know about this "correlation" between breakfast foods and fixing hangovers WINK WINK - but if this correlation exists, this is the best spot. The omelets are superb - Thick, tasty, and cooked well. The Hash Browns are SWAG!!! Lots of meat and nice buttery toast. mmmmmm Prices are solid, but not as solid as the service. This is a great place to get lunch or Breakfast while waiting for a script to be filled next door at the local CVS. This is the Breakfast place Westland Needs - Big Portions at not so big prices and delicious. If you are a Blue Collar MFer like I am, this is the spot. You'll get great service, great prices, and a leftover box to eat later unless you have the appitite of Braun Stowman. ROARRRR! read more

Used to go here quite a bit. Went here with my son recently. We ate, not spectacular - just run-of-the-mill coney fare. Get the bill laid on the table - it shows $24.97... looks right, got two big meals and an extra side with drinks. Go to pay... here's where it gets fun... pull out my debit card. She runs it, receipt for me to sign prints up, and she very rapidly grabs written bill and shoves it under register then gives me receipt to sign. Receipt is for 2.79 MORE than the bill. I bring it to her attention. She simply points to from t of register. I said: "What, am I supposed to be looking at something?". She points again to a 3"x3" white sign on the white register that says simply THERE IS A FEE FOR USING CARDS. Then she sates that there is the same sign on the front door (which we saw when we were exiting). I explain that's fine but 1) it should be on the menus, as well; 2) businesses that do that usually charge a quarter or fifty cents - - NOT almost ten percent of the transaction. She is silent and merely points to the sign again. I said "Well, there goes your tip", and reduced it from five dollars to 2.79 - the same as their ridiculous fee. Never stepping foot into this place again. read more

Best biscuits and gravy I've ever had- and I've had a lot. I've been coming here for about 14 years, and though I dont go in often the B&G is always just as good as it was. Sometimes the service is on point, sometimes it's a bit slow (ironically the busier they are the better service I usually have), but have never had any real complaints about the service. read more

Stopped in on a whim since our power was out, as it's very close to us. Small restaurant but clean. We were immediately served by a lovely waitress. The menu is your typical Coney Island fair, my favorite haha. I ordered a breakfast skillet and was shocked at the huge portion! It was excellent! This is definitely my new spot, including for carry out, since it's so close! read more

I've been patronizing this business for years (close to home/convenient). I've always thought the service was average, however, during my last visit, I obsereved very poor food safety practices. The server was pouring salad dressing in the little containers and stopping the pour with her bare hands (scraping what was on her hands into the larger container with the salad dressing). This was done after handling cash (never washing hands or wearing gloves). The cook used his cell phone, then he handled the food for customers. I'll never eat there again. read more

I should have listened to my sons and avoided this place. the lady at the counter was rude, told me a breakfast choice was not on the menu but after scanning the qcode it was. she didn't listen to my order and overcharged me. NEVER COMING AGAIN read more

We have been going to this restaurant for about 3 years on an almost weekly basis. Their food is ALWAYS good (and I'm picky about my breakfast). It's not greasy like most coney islands (a big plus for me), it's fast and cheaper than buying the food and making it yourself at home! It's family run and they truly appreciate their customers. We have watched the teen bus boy grow at least 2 feet in the past few years! He knows our drink order by heart. When we eat here, I feel like we're eating at a friend's house. I hope they never change! read more

They're in the cut but don't sleep they hanging with most restaurants plus they reasonably price and they portion can feed a whole tribe that's my every day go to spot . The servers have a wonderful smiles read more

Great service- very attentive and nice. Yummy breakfast nothing special, but it tasted like mom was cooking :) The hashbrowns aren't your typical frozen coney fare. I thoroughly enjoyed them. My son and I also like the pancakes. I like supporting local non- chain establishments. The prices are quite reasonable. read more

They are rude first of all but I gave it a chance because I was to lazy to make the drive to olimpia on Wayne . Ordered off the menu price ended up different , the ham I got in my biscuits and gravy with eggs and ham felt like bologna, my biscuits didn't come separately they added the gravy on it , my wife's diced potatoes that we mentioned more than once came home to surprise you got hash browns. Very disappointed first time and last . Much rather make the drive to your favorite place because this is not the one to change your mind read more

Avoid this place. I asked if there was gluten in the seasoning on the pork chops. Lila assured me there was none however my reaction to the meal confirmed that she lied. When my kind friend tried to talk to the manager she again lied saying that I had not mentioned wheat or gluten. The other 2 people I was with told them they had heard me ask in several ways about wheat or gluten. No refund or apology was offered. I will not ever eat there again. I will not be able to attend a very special wedding tomorrow with the reaction which will take 3 days to dissipate. I would not have given even one star but am forced to. It's not a mistake I hate, it's the lie. read more

I have been coming here for breakfast for many years, and I have not been disappointed with the food. It's your typical coney themed menu, so it's hard to mess that up. The only reason I marked it down was because for as long as I've gone there, the service is usually below par. The wait staff is not very attentive and most of them seem to have an attitude when you ask for anything. All in all, a good place to go eat. read more

Ok WOW, I don't know how I missed this place all these years! Honestly some of the BEST FOOD in the area! I visit my grandmother right across the street about 4 times a year and NEVER knew this spot was right there! They really need to make a bigger sign because it's easy to miss! But I knew it was good when I walked in and saw so many people sitting at tables for it to be so hidden....when I tell you the BEST Greek salad with grilled chicken I've EVER had. read more

Excellent food very friendly staff. This is my new secret spot. I have eaten there before and it was great then too. The breakfast was huge, coffee was good and even the orange juice was excellent. Don't go there because I want to keep them to myself! read more

I have been coming here for years and years and usually have no complaints but I am currently sitting in a booth waiting for my meal and I am not happy. I asked for a small garden salad with spinach instead of romaine and got an eyebrow raise, and was told it would be more money for the spinach. I said I didn't care, to which I was told "I will have to ask" (I already said I would pay more, so what would it matter). I also asked for a small because the last time I got a garden salad it was literally sized for a family. I was told the only salads that come in small and large are Greek and chef. I came here specifically for the garden, but settled for a chef with chicken instead of ham and turkey-- which again seemed to be an issue. At this point I am agitated and the waitress suggests I get a Greek salad to which I reply I do not want a Greek (I cannot have the dressing for dietary reasons). This place is normally great but I am really dissatisfied with the difficulties today. read more

stopped her after reading on posters description on the pancakes. I ordered the blueberry pancakes and out come regular pancakes with GFS quality blueberry pie filling in them. Terrible customer service. Charges more than menu price and will make up excuses on why you're being charged more. Eat some place else.

First visit for me. Will consider for other day parts but I wasn't impressed with my breakfast. I ordered the big breakfast and was first served the biscuits and gravy which were cold and the bun was rather firm and tasteless. Eventually my breakfast plate was delivered which consisted of 8 slices of bacon, 3 eggs and hash browns. The bacon was low quality and crisper than I prefer. The eggs were ordered over medium and delivered a touch over cooked. The hash browns were bland. On a good note I was handed two menus when greeted after seating myself. The "breakfast specials" and a regular all day menu. It listed typical Coney Island fare. The breakfast specials menu was priced on the cheaper side which is great for those on a budget but lacked variety. I found the waitress to be lacking in skills. She took my order okay but after delivering food did not check back to see if my food was to my liking. Next time I saw her was when she delivered my check. Another gal seemed responsible for delivering drinks to the table. read more

Great food for the price. Clean and awesome wait staff. The tuna melt is delicious and their salads are huge. I can never finish my plate

Food made myself and girlfriend sick. Staff was very rude. Just not a good atmosphere at all. Very disappointed as I already had low hopes.

Not a fancy place, just serve good food. Soups are usually good. My wife enjoys the coneys and I like the grilled chicken. Almost never get a bad meal here and we are in about once every 2 weeks. read more

Awesome service and food. The grilled salmon and chicken are delicious. They're never crazy busy, also making it a favorite

I love a coney place for their great breakfasts. That is not the case here, as they have no two egg three pieces of meat and hashbrowns breakfast deal. They do have two specials but you have to eat like a horse with the size of those meals. I don't go back to places that charges over five bucks for breakfast without even a drink ordered,. Now if that wasn't enough it was really greasy. I have added this on since I first posted. I find it interesting that the owner thinks this is funny speaks volumes of how he cares for his customers doesn't it. read more
