Chicken cordon bleu omelette and Apple Cinnamon Saute Pancake
    Jody K.

We dropped my cousin off at the airport early on the morning of July 4, and we wanted to go to breakfast afterward. I'd been to the Jonny Cakes Cafe in Troy, so when I saw that there was one in Canton on our way back, I suggested it to my sister. I was feeling indulgent, so I ordered the chicken cordon bleu omelette and upgraded to the sauteed apple pancakes instead of toast. The omelette was really good, the cheese nice & stretchy. And the hash browns were nicely browned as well. I only ate half of those things and just tasted my "breakfast dessert" so that I was able to have and enjoy it another day. The prices are a little high for breakfast, but the portions are big, so it's easy to get 2 meals out of it, so amortized over a couple meals, it's not so bad!

Came here for brunch one Sunday afternoon. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Customer service was very kind and the inside was very casual and clean.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We placed an order of pancakes (upgraded to apple cinnamon), eggs with feta, and corned beef hash along with huevos ranchers and cinnamon roll pancakes. Everything was petty good and as expected. The corned beef hash was more potato than corned beef unfortunately, yet nicely seasoned. Otherwise nothing to brag about and nothing to complain about.

We were staying in town and the family wanted brunch, not a hotel breakfast. This was nearby and decided to try this place. It is located in a shopping center with plenty of parking. We arrived early 9am on Sunday morning to get a table for our party. The cafe was full by 9:45am so they would start a waitlist. They have an extensive menu with lots to choose from. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It is a spacious restaurant.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Decent size portions, all very good. Service was friendly and efficient. Will be back!

Decent food, great wait staff, unaccommodating cooks. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant was pretty large and plenty of seating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We were greeted and seated almost immediately. Our waitress was fantastic. Really helpful and kind. I asked if I could have my French toast made like the Cinnamon Roll pancakes. The cooks said they couldn't. Which was fine. My fiancé ordered plain eggs with just salt and pepper. They did not add the seasoning. We asked if they could remake them. The cooks said they couldn't. Alright! The waitress did bring us an entirely new order of seasoned eggs and added cheese, for free, for the mishap. We ordered the Homemade Corned Beef Hash with an upgrade to the Apple Cinnamon Pancakes. This was great. The hash was mostly potatoes with a little corned beef but seasoned perfectly. The pancakes were great! We also ordered the Huevos Rancheros with added chorizo and country gravy on the side. This was pretty good. I also got a side of the Cinnamon roll pancakes. Those were really good. The food was good overall but nothing special.

This is the kind of quick Breakfast places I like. Good Service. Lots of options. They serve fresh squeezed orange juice. They are right next to IHOP but, I would rather go here. Just wish we would have visited here before. Prices aren't crazy. Giving them a 5 so that they keep their overall yelp rating at 4 or better!

Very good food, it has a nice add on to try the many pancakes in a mini size. I got the cinnamon rolls ones, they were very sweet!

The confirmation text didn't come through until we were already inside, which might be bad reception, but it almost cost us the table. Then they sat us right across from the back kitchen entrance. Banging, yelling, and an open doorway into the kitchen. Off-putting, especially with better seating clearly open. The food keeps the rating up. I did not expect a wings place, but the smoked wings were my favorite, right amount of crispy with good smoke. The sauce list is long and I couldn't pick a favorite. The ranch tasted house-made and it was amazing. The chikin soho was the other standout. Honey ginger glaze, chili dijon slaw, and pickles that all work together. Misses: the brisket nachos needed fresh guac and actual brisket, since there was barely any. The 6 cheese mac was fine but not worth ordering again. Prices were right for what it is, a bistro concept. It's in Wayne, which surprised me since I didn't know spots like this existed out here. Wide enough menu that I'll be back. Next time I'm speaking up about the seating.

The restaurant is on an extremely busy four lane divided highway/street and this restaurant is next to a La-Z-Boy store (to help you spot it). The great news is there is a lot of free and convenient parking at the restaurant. Upon entering the restaurant, it is a very open floor plan. While there are many TV screens for those sitting near the bar area, it is not disruptive to those in the dining area. The ambiance is casually upscale and pleasant. The outdoor patio areas were closed off due to the hot summer temperatures. There is also a large covered patio-like area where it did not seem that people were seated (or very few). I believe that dogs are allowed there year-round, though there weren't any dogs there during our visit. When the weather is better, dogs are also allowed on the outdoor patio. My friend and I were seated in a comfortable booth and were promptly greeted by our server. My friend is gluten and dairy free and our server was very knowledgeable on how to accommodate these sensitivities. We both ordered the Tuscan Chicken Entrees - I had mine with green beans and mashed potatoes; my friend's sides were broccoli and tater tots. Our server was overall appropriately attentive. My friend found the chicken entree too peppery and I found mine edible but on the edge of being too salty. The chicken was topped with artichoke hearts and feta, which could account for some saltiness. If I came here again, I would probably order something else. Overall, I would recommend this restaurant, though it's not anyplace I would run back to. It was a good experience overall, but not for foodies. It's a sports bar that tries hard to be and overall succeeds in being a decent dining experience.

There was no question, I would see my friend. We had selected Chicane earlier, eager to try the new restaurant in a familiar setting, by the train tracks on Starkweather. This location was formerly Station 885, a restaurant my friend and I visited years earlier, when a toy train ran along tracks around the perimeter, delighting her young daughter. We arrived early, scoring a great table with a view of the large bar, lounge, and stage. The restaurant is glamorous, with gorgeous lighting and attractive furnishings. Musicians entertained the eager and appreciative audience. There are so few places that provide this level of entertainment and hospitality. I had already previewed the menu and was anticipating the meal ahead. The duck sounded amazing and is almost always my first choice. However, the short ribs were tempting, as were the scallops in a coconut curry broth. I went with my first instinct, the duck, paired with a French Onion soup. The medium-rare duck breast was perfectly prepared; I liked the sweet potato puree and slaw accompaniments. Incidentally, the portion was huge. My friend enjoyed her braised short rib, which was on the 2-course supper menu, available before 6pm. For dessert, I went with the chocolate cube. Unfortunately, I didn't even see the banana parfait, which was mentioned in several of the reviews here. Oh, well, I was content. The dessert had a bold, intense chocolate flavor, which paired well with the ice cream's more subtle flavors. I also appreciated the different textures on the plate. Service was fantastic: professional and helpful. Unfortunately, my car died during the cold, and TripleA was unable to help, given the number of people/vehicles in a similar situation. The restaurant staff went above and beyond to find someone (the Executive Chef, who was in the middle of service) to provide a jump; I am so grateful for the gracious hospitality.
