What a cute little breakfast place!! Gotta love eating local On a beautiful Sunday morning my boyfriend and I decided to walk to a breakfast spot in downtown Plymouth. We originally were planning on going to the spot next door, but decided on this spot as it was too cute to pass up and my boyfriend has never been before. We waited in line where they directed us to and it kind of seemed at first and nobody knew what was going on. The hostess seemed like she was either New or just didn't know where people needed to go. One of the servers was able to hop in and told us where to sit. The hostess was a little bit rude, but we did not hold it against her as she was only seating us. After a few minutes, our server came by and was very attentive the entire time she was kind to our orders of different drinks, and everything came out very quickly. I opted for a eggs Benedict With a side salad and my boyfriend for a hash dish. Both were yummy. No complaints there. Nothing to knock your socks off but as far as breakfast went, it did the job! The bathroom situation was a little funky, you had to go through the kitchen to get to the bathroom so I just snuck next doors and used theirs. It was reasonably priced, we spent about 40 dollars and really enjoyed sitting outside and people watching before we set on about our day. My only real complaints here is that it is often overcrowded. The restaurant is just too small, and I am not a fan of al fresco dining. The hours are limiting as well for my lifestyle. When I make it here, I am always happy. The food is delicious. The service is friendly. There is enough variety to be interesting, but the food is happily comforting and easygoing. It avoids the twee and overly hip, too. You can bring anyone here from your grandpa to your rich snobby old friend to a fussy eater kid, and they will be happy. I can't say I've ever eaten anything bad in here. My go to though is some anytime breakfast. The hikers Benny is a delight if you like a good twist on a Benedict. The avocado bacon and swiss work well, and who is not a fan of poached eggs and hollandaise. It comes with a little balsamic dressed greens and potatoes. I'm also fond of the Spartan omelette with spinach feta and dill served up with fruit salad or a Tuscany skillet with artichokes. Yum. The salads are all deliciousness, though. They are also a common pick of mine. My faves are the strawberry walnut or the Mackinac Island, but the Cobb is also quite good. The dressings here are really nice, and the ingredients are always super fresh. They are generously portioned, and they give you a roll to go with. If you come in, definitely consider one of their specials. Quiches, chicken almond bake, banana nut french toast, etc. My fave special is when they carry their cinnamon sweet rolls. Now that I'm fully vaccinated &the pandemic is slowing down, I'm resuming finding new places for breakfast/brunch. I found this in Yelp and decided it was a nice day for a drive, so I went out there. The inside is tiny, but fortunately, there was lots of room outside. I had the Tuscan skillet, which is not served in a skillet at all, but rather, in a pie plate. It tasted so fresh, and everything was cooked perfectly. The spinach was still green and crispy, and they made my eggs exactly as I like them -- what any good chef would say is overcooked, but it's the only way I eat them. The stuffed French toast is unbelievable!! This is a little spot so you can expect a wait, but the service makes up for any delay in eating. I've got potatoes, avocado, and a fruit plate along with the stuffed French toast. I've heard that the breakfast hash is absolutely delicious but as a vegetarian I was looking for non-meat options,. the stuff first post comes in multiple flavors of stuffed custard. Finally made it to Crawford's! Nice breakfast joint with inside and outside seating. There is parking lot and street parking, but we opted to walk. It was a nice day to sit outside, but opted to sit inside to hide from all the yellow jackets. No one seemed bothered except me! Large breakfast selection and great service. I inhaled that food Kirby style. The staff were already helpful and friendly, and despite being understaffed (we went on an accidental holiday July 3 when the 4th was on Saturday), they were very obviously doing their best to meet everyones' eneds. Once again my fellow Yelp reviewers have led me to the right place. Thank you! This is a cute little place in "Old Plymouth" (according to the menu) that we decided to try after church today. I'm an omelette girl, but the Tuscan skillet sounded really good, so I tried it and I'm glad I did. My soft scrambled eggs were perfect, the potatoes were cooked just right and the veggies inside were good. I do wish the spinach had been wilted just a little since I'm not the biggest fan of raw spinach, but it was a good choice. I'll be back! read more

Lovely place. We sat outside under umbrellas and watched the world go by. The service was attentive, but not intrusive. They were very helpful in telling me which sauces, etc contained onions (allergic). I had the salad with romaine, strawberries, etc. The ingredients were in large pieces and could not have been fresher. It was capped off with an outstanding blueberry dressing. Ate on the patio, which is a create place when it's warm out. The street that the restaurant is on isn't too busy, so you don't feel like you're eating in the middle of traffic. We tried your restaurant on Friday, Sept. 15, 2023. Everyone said it was so great. Wrong! My husband and I both ordered omelettes. His was with hashbrowns and white toast. Mine was with an english muffin and fruit. His hashbrowns were burnt and his omelette was watery. Also, his toast was very dry. My omelette was fair but my english muffin tasted like it was soaked with grease from above the deep fryer. It even smelled weird. The fruit cup was very soggy as well. I had to use the restroom real bad. I asked the waitress and she showed me where it was. Someone yelled out customer coming through kitchen! OMG! The floor near the sink was soaking wet. The kitchen did not look nice. I was so afraid that I was going to slip and fall. The bathroom was so very, very tiny. I did not like what I saw back in the kitchen area. The restaurant needs a bigger place with a customer friendly bathroom and more room for everyone. On the good side, our waitress, a young girl with long brown hair, was very nice and pleasant. I don't remember her name. Maybe we are old fashioned but not a good place for seniors. It was terribly crowded inside and you could barely walk around. A lot of people were eating outside. I had high hopes for this restaurant located in the heart of Plymouth Michigan. We loved this little town and its a must see if your ever in the Detroit area. Small, clean and brings you back to small town America. The service at this restaurant was slow and you likely will have to wait to be seated as it's a popular place. My husband and I have been coming to Crawford's for years. Finally decided to write a review. You can always get a solid breakfast here. Today, I got a sausage and cheese omelette. Sausage was flavorful, the amount of cheese good. The omelette was cooked more than I like, with a touch too much color on the outside. It was still moist - Could have been fluffier. Potatoes were a pretty big waste. They're home fries, but most of the pieces in the huge pile on my plate lacked any sort of color. They suffered from a distinct lack of seasoning. The wheat toast was surprisingly good. Crawfords has just average coffee - If you're going to do breakfast, have great coffee. My husband was very happy with his Huevos Rancheros, which he got with cinnamon raisin toast. Ick! They cooked his over-medium eggs properly. Not many places are able to do that. read more

Crawford's Kitchen has the greatest and most delicious breakfasts, unlike any I have ever had before. While visiting my hometown of Plymouth, I took my granddaughter there for breakfast. Ania Crawford recommended to my granddaughter the Classic Benny. She enjoyed the hollandaise sauce so much she literally licked her plate clean. I wish I could move back to Plymouth so I could eat there more often and perhaps get to try everything on the menu. Chef Jeff Crawford has created an amazing menu for those who want the most delightful breakfasts and brunch. Ania Crawford is the lovely hostess of Crawford's kitchen. She is so friendly and hospitable she takes the time to sometimes sit with customers to get to know them. Whatever the weather, do not hesitate to go there. You can eat indoors during inclement weather, and any other time, but make it a point to go there when the weather is good. Stopped in again for lunch on August 27th. My wife and I sat inside as all the tables were open. I also do not like to eat outside next to busy streets. Lots of tables outside had patrons at them. I ordered the veggie hash with no eggs and they were happy to substitute a side of fresh fruit. The servers were wonderful and polite and kept my coffee mug full! I loved this place. Can't believe I haven't ever been here,after driving by numerous times. It has the looks of a mom and pop place, and that can mean one of two things - a delicious little gem (such as this) or a horrible yucky dining experience. This is the reason that I heart Yelp! This family run restaurant (for real: the patriarch is the head chef in the kitchen, the matriarch handles accounting and assists with serving guests when she can)... is a hiddem gem. Their skillets served in pie dishes are super fresh and super good, plus they don't cost a bunch. Plentiful fresh-cut breakfast potatoes. Nice sized eggs. Even short staffed, the service was pretty efficient and very friendly. They're not super crowded in the summer even on brunch weekends, though it's probably a lot more cramped in the winter when that outdoor seating isn't available. So get there early (or later in the day) if you want to try it in January or February. If parking's tough and the weather's OK, park a few blocks down near the center of town and walk over. It's a nice walk when the weather cooperates. read more
