Food came faster than expected with nice sized portions. Their menu can satisfy any craving you may have: breakfast, lunch, whether something heavy or light. My sister and I ordered the Banana Foster French Toast and Corn Beef Hash to share. Very solid choices. I really enjoyed this place! Did a random yelp search for breakfast and found this! Drove the 25 minutes and it was all worth it. Came here on Mother's Day Sunday for breakfast and was gifted a rose. Our server was very nice and friendly. We ordered off the special menu to get the monte cristo and strawberry cheesecake pancakes. We also ordered the waffle and chicken, side of crispy bacon and biscuits and gravy. The biscuits and gravy was probably my favorite. As you know I love biscuits and gravy. The waffle had a great flavor and I loved the added fruit. Everything was great and will definitely do the drive again here! read more

So I have been here a couple of times to check it out since it had such high reviews. I wanted to check it out at different times. It looks like a small diner and has that feel to it. So the first time here the server was very polite and friendly very welcoming. She recommended the ultimate blt which I got and my friend got the Reuben. She kept coming back to check on us. Gave us extra napkins with asking. They both only came with a pickle. We also ordered fries and after we placed our order a few minutes went by and then we were today they ran out of fries so we got the onion rings. So the ultimate blt was pretty good the bacon had a lot of fat still on it that wasn't rended off. The Reuben was good. The onion rings were good too nothing special. So went back to try it again this time we had a different server she was here to do a job. She was 2 feet away from us the whole time and never came back to our table after we ordered. We got Tony's breakfast, steak and eggs and Oreo pancakes. Oreo pancakes were amazing. Tony's breakfast was a steal but I asked for sourdough bread and got white bread and original asked for the hash browns on the side and crispy they at first put them in the same plate and they were not crispy at all. The steak and eggs were good. The fries we asked for them to be crispy they were not crispy or salted. The food tastes good but not anything special and it is very reasonably priced. It's the only reason I went back but I don't think I would go back. read more

I was in Livonia & decided to try some place that I'd never been. I saw all of the great reviews for Tony's, so I decided to try it. The restaurant is tucked into the corner of a half-deserted strip mall; it would have been impossible to find just by chance. The servers were extremely friendly, and it seemed to be one of those places that "regulars" go to; in fact, there was someone who came in for the chicken soup & the server practically had it ready for her as she sat down, and a couple other people at the counter talking like friends. After much debate about what I wanted, I decided on the chicken & waffle. The menu said 5 chicken wings, but it was really 5 chicken wing PIECES; there is a difference. The waffle was delicious, although I wish restaurants used real maple syrup instead of maple flavored corn syrup. The chicken was a little salty but ok. But both the chicken and the waffle had cold spots, which indicated to me that these were reheated, rather than cooked fresh. I didn't send it back because I was hungry, but it was disappointing and makes me wonder if there are any restaurants that actually cook. I also thought that, at $13 (+ more if paying with a credit card), it was on the expensive side for what I got -- especially since a day or two before, I was at a different restaurant and got enough for 3 meals for a lot less money. read more

Came here for a Sunday breakfast. Friendly and quick service. Interior is an ordinary old school breakfast style. My daughter orders berry waffle. It has a fresh berry sauce on it that tasted fresh and sweet . I ordered egg Benedict, it was good but I wish it came with a side like hashed brown or something. It was just 2 egg Benedicts on a plate and nothing else so it looked a bit sad lol. They were covered with a lot of sauce so it'd had been good to eat with hashed brown. read more

OMG what a fantastic find, open just 8 months this place packed with hungry folks. Most marvelous Mexican Chorizo dish ever Eaten Wowed. A crispy bed of Hashbrowns topped with Chorizo, Onions Peppers Jalapeno and Eggs drizzled with Creama. A burst of fabulous flavor in each bite Yummy . This is a must try, could only eat half. Today (7/3/25) was our first time at Tony's. After sitting down and being greeted by the waitress, I was sure I would be giving them 5 's. That only lasted until the food was served. I ordered the Tony's omelette, crispy hash browns, rye toast, and coffee. My wife ordered the Greek omelette, light tomatoes, no onions (she can't eat them), hash browns, sourdough toast, and a Pepsi. We were served fairly quickly, now here is where it goes sideways. The food was warm and looked good at first sight. My hash browns were perfectly crispy but not burnt. I wish I could say that about the omelette though. It tasted burnt on the inside and not only was the rye toast (I use that word loosely) barely warm, but it really wasn't even toasted. To make it even worse, there was only a little round batch buttered on each slice, like it was just dabbed in the center with a brush of butter. My wife's omelette had onions in it, so she could not eat it. We got the waitresses attention and she took it back to remake it. I kept eating mine because I didn't have the heart to send back both meals. By the time she got the replacement meal, her toast was stone cold. At least her toast looked like it was toasted but still only had a small round area that was buttered. Her replacement omelette looked good and didn't have any onions but it was loaded with tomatoes so she picked most of them out. At least she had an omelette that wasn't burnt like all the fillings of mine was - the onions, green pepper, and all the meat (what little there was) was all burnt black. It was supposed to have Swiss and American cheese; it did but only a little Swiss on one end and the other end of the omelette had some American cheese. I picked out some of the burnt filling to show her but nothing came of it - no I'm sorry, no nothing. It was very disappointing, but at least both of our hash browns were good, a small consolation. There is no way the cook didn't realize that he burned all my fillings for the omelette. It NEVER should have been used in it. The onions on my wife's omelette was the mistake by the waitress. She did not write "no onions" on the ticket - I know because the order ticket was stapled to the bill. A terrible breakfast that cost almost $40 with tip (and it was too generous). I will never go back without an apology for ruining our breakfast! OMG - How hard is it to make an omelette and make toast and butter it? read more

Eggs cooked perfectly. Everything tastes fresh not greasy. The new restaurant is brighter than the old Korcas that was here. Whole place looks clean and fresh. Forgot to mention that there is a small discount for paying with cash. Came by next day for lunch. Service is slow but good. I had a Blue Cheese Burger yum. Came with a generous portion of fries. Fries are the wider variety. Fries cooked well done not salted to death crispy not greasy. My burger was cooked to order I like medium rare, The burger was delicious. Ate here for the first time yesterday with my family. We were one of two tables which is surprising because HOLY cow the food was amazing. My daughter declared the hash browns were the best she's had in any breakfast restaurant. The girl was not wrong- these are hand made and beautifully fried. It's definitely a step above your average brunch spot. The flavors are classic and well balanced, and the presentation was A+. I almost didn't want to leave a review because then the secret will be out and I'll probably never be able to get a seat in here again. Had a quick breakfast after working overnight. Friendly service that was constantly checking on our drinks. Piles of food that were quite filling. The pancakes were light and fluffy, the turkey sausage was well prepared and not overcooked. Eggs... done to order. The avocado toast was beautifully done with poached eggs and truly looked amazing. First time in here, and I overheard a patron stating that the business needs Black and other support when another customer wondered aloud why I was there. Welcome to Livonia! Well, the waitresses and cooks didn't seem to care as I was greeted promptly and was able to peruse the menu and order quickly. Coffee was excellent and fresh; loose meat with fries at breakfast time was good- my loose meat with "light" chili; chili was not lightly applied, but this seems to be a problem at most coneys. I'm thinking that my loose meat was sitting waiting for the fries to come up as the fries were really hot. While the chili was on the cool side, it was one of the most flavorful and delicious coney chilis I had in a while. A little pricey but well worth it in my opinion, as the food was delicious. The restaurant is on the smaller side, tucked into the corner of the dollar tree plaza at 5 and Merriman. It's easy to miss, but definitely a good find! Thinking about bringing the family here for breakfast/coneys. I like to try restaurants by myself first to see how I am treated and this one passed the test. Good food, good service.
