We came in from out of town and came upon this Great diner in this great town of Northville Michigan. The diner has a great decor very clean. The staff was amazing. They were very helpful with many suggestions. Food was amazing and it may sound funny but the Hot Chocolate was like an art peace. After leaving this place the town was decorated with many laughs of seasonal decoration. Great experience

What a cute little cafe in downtown Northville. We've stopped in a few times for breakfast and it's such a homey little spot. Great service and the food is delicious. They have all the traditional items on the menu. I highly recommend the omelettes! This place does get packed in the morning so plan appropriately!

Our waitress was so kind, and she kept checking back in for coffee refills. The food was good, I got a vegetarian omelette and it tasted good, I would recommend it! However, the veggies were folded inside the omelette, kind of like a burrito, so it kept falling out. Usually the veggies are baked into the omelette itself. My friend got the country omelette and he didn't have the same issue, but his has less toppings than mine too. Overall, taste was good but it could've been better. The place gives diner vibes instead of the usual fancy brunch place vibes.

Hobo (hash) skillet. Three eggs. A very generous serving. They make their own corned beef, but it was an extremely fine chop - not my favorite. I could not taste any peppers or onions. Would not order again. Served hot! Very hot! Thank you very much. Another plus - sourdough toast. Ordered it dry. It arrived wet with butter. Very wet. Promptly replaced. Clean dining room and restroom. Will I return? Yes, but not for the corned beef hash.

Everything is fresh! The food is fresh, they have fresh fruit for the food instead of just fruit filling, and fresh squeezed orange juice! The scrambled eggs were delicious. The service is definitely some of the fastest I've experienced. It's a small, cute breakfast place. The only downside was we ordered hash browns, a pretty typical breakfast food, and were told they don't have hash browns but I see them in the reviews here and I've gotten them at their other location so I'm not sure if this is a recent change or why they would have gotten rid of them.

Early Bird had been on our radar for about a year. Believe it or not we got in without waiting on New Years Eve, around 11:30 am. The vibe was breafast or maybe it was just all the cute chickens decor. Service was prompt, friendly and accurate. We both ordered the country omelette which was fantastic. Will return again.

This is by far my favorite place. They are so fast and the order is correct every time. I love their coffee and their sausage links. I go there anytime I get the chance. My boys have been going here since they were born for over 12 years! The staff is friendly and efficient. Keep it up Early Bird!

This is a cute little diner perfectly placed on the edge of downtown Northville. I have visited both on the busy weekend and in the middle of the work week for breakfast. It gets pretty busy on the weekends and since this diner is so small, you'll be waiting for a while standing (nearly sitting on top of) the tables by the entrance. I recommend keeping this as a mid-week spot instead as it is far more enjoyable. My first visit, I ordered an omelette and the second I did their pumpkin spice French toast (on special for fall). I would not recommend the French toast as it was too rich the more I ate it. The rest of the menu seems like your usual diner quality and selection - not bad but not amazing either. I would definitely come back just for a quiet low key breakfast during the week.

Two people on my work team are from Northville, and are always talking about early bird. We finally made it out there for a work lunch and they were very accommodating of our group of 10. The food was good, I had one of the skillets. I would recommend this cute restaurant for brunch.

This is what we ordered and how each item was: Monte Cristo - I was VERY excited about this and it was delicious. It was a giant portion. There is French toast, thic ham, Swiss cheese, icing, and a ton of blueberry compote. I would get this again, but I would ask for the compote on the side. It was delicious but it was a mess! Chorizo breakfast quesadilla - it was tasty, very simple, just eggs cheese and chorizo. It was all in the center, so lots of empty tortilla. I would not get that again, only because I would get something with more components. The side was salsa and sour cream. The eggs were cooked perfectly in it, I'll say that. Potato latke - huge portion for the half order. Very thick and very crispy (deep fried maybe?). It tasted like they were binded with pancake batter. They were not for me, I like them a little more traditional - but my son and husband enjoyed them. They come with a tiny cup of cooked apples and a side of sour cream. It was really nice to find a place with a huge and interesting menu. So much better than a chain, and the food was special and the prices were fair. I'm excited to dine in-person next time.

This was a busy day even though the weather was a bit frightening. I do recommend making on-line reservations to ensure your seating. A couple of issues on this visit. Listed on the kitchen specials, they mention two entrees that have blue cheese crumbles, I asked for some for my Hudson salad and was told they don't have any. This confused me. I am not sure If they are exclusively for those two entrees, the server was possibly mistaken, or they can't use the item for any other purpose. It just seemed odd. My Hudson salad arrived without turkey, I noticed it and the kind waitstaff brought the turkey so I was able to dump it on the salad. Unfortunately, the salad did come with a blond hair. I was so happy another person in my party noticed it on my fork before it entered my mouth. The French toast was very pleasant but I wasn't sure if the price of 16.00 was right for this entree. It seemed like a lot for what you get. I do appreciate the warm syrup! That's a nice touch. We tried the house made Corned beef hash and it was as delicious. Overall, the meal was good, the service was also pleasant even though they were busy. I give credit to the service team for being nice with a lot of customers. This visit wasn't as spectacular as my last, but still a sound experience.

I got a half Ham and Gruyere sandwich and a half Sweet Honey Pecan Salad. It was a good combination. I'm not a big fan of the First Watch ham, and the Gruyere was pretty non-descript, but the buttery bread made it a decent sandwich. This would be so much better with bacon. The salad was really good. Only half of the tables had anyone seated, but we somehow still ended up waiting for a table for 3 for about 15 or so minutes. The food itself was worthy of 4 stars, though I would say that it leans more towards being "Instagram ready" rather than tasty unto itself. The lavender wild berry french toast was fun, but the flavor got to be a bit overwhelming the more I ate it. The next time I come back, I think I'd prefer to go with something simpler. Service is what holds my review back from 4 stars. Our server was very friendly, but he seemed a bit overwhelmed with the number of tables he was looking after (and again, the restaurant only seemed half full). Maybe they need to sort out a staffing issue or something else going on, but there was just something... not quite gelling with this restaurant. We'll no doubt wander back in another day, and I'm hoping I can report a different experience then.
