After going back and forth on where we wanted to eat, we ended up deciding on First Watch. I don't think I've ever seen this place at low capacity, it's always packed and so is the parking lot. That should be a good thing though as something is drawing folks back! I ended up going with breakfast consisting of pancakes, eggs with cheese and some bacon. In addition I had a mimosa as well. The food came out pretty quick given how busy they were and I think everything tasted pretty good as well! I'd say it's a very good brunch spot in the area. read more

I has my favorite breakfast meal of French Toast and Bacon. It was so yummy! We opted for the 2 for You option to-go. It allows you to pick two items between the 1/2 sandwich, 1/2 salad and cup of soup. The sandwich and salad were perfect for later on. We were extended great service by Rosalina "Rosie" and Eric, the general manager. Rosie gave us great menu suggestions. We decided to meet up here with family for breakfast on a Sunday morning. We used the online waitlist to get in line before arriving, but still had to wait at least 20 mins after arriving to be seated (maybe due to having a party of 6). My husband got the French toast which he enjoyed but felt it needed a bit more flavor and was a bit too dry. I got the chile chorizo omelette which was flavorful and came with arugula on the side. My party and I would have appreciated if our server checked on us one more time or offered a box the second time during their visit to the table - when a carry out box was needed by the time we had finished eating, there was no staff around to ask. I had to walk to the front & wait for the cashier person to provide a box between ringing up patrons. It wasn't a deal breaker only felt inconvenient and not ideal. The quality of the food is consistent and tasty. I only wish portion sizes were slightly larger. My family met at First Watch on a busy Sunday morning. There was a 25 minute wait but it was worth it. Our server was very pleasant and helpful. This was my first time there and I was ready for the blueberry lavender French toast. It was yummy! I also ordered the purple haze lemonade it was also very good. My niece recommended the million dollar potatoes. I enjoyed every part of this meal. My family was pleased with what they ordered as well. Watery AF Benedict! Wow- I have been dying to try First Watch after hearing great things about the Naples Location and seeing them in other states. Worst Eggs Benny Evah. I know most places use a mix for the Hollandaise, but this was a just a watery mess. Instead of Canadian Bacon or an upgrade to Corned Beef hash, they used thin sliced Costco pre sliced smoked ham. I will try another one but stay away from this Location! read more

Their new golden cinnamon buns sounded amazing and I usually don't get any of their small plates since I get full fast - but the description made it sounds super yummy. When they came out, it was extremely disappointing It was dry and hard, and there was very minimal icing on top. Compared to the picture, I had to laugh at the differences... You could tell it was just microwaved and they threw golden sprinkles on top. I don't know why I felt the need to write a review on just cinnamon buns but I was sooo let down by the poor quality. Especially for $6?! Gas station honeybuns would've been better. And cheaper. read more

Granted it was a holiday weekend however, we waited our time. Besides the greeter everyone else was subpar and i work in the service industry. My food arrived to my table cold, it took my server 10 minutes to get back around to the table for me to even tell her by that time it was ice cold. The butter did not even melt on my pancake. It's been a year since I was here last. I was really hoping that this experience would be better than last. Honestly, I would not know because after waiting for 15 minutes to put my name down on the list, they told me that it would take another 30 minutes to get seated, at 30 minutes I went in to see how many were in front of us. They then said oh it's probably another 40 minutes before we can be seated. He said it very flippantly too after I said wait a second you just told me it was 30 minutes now you're telling me it's another 40. Why didn't you just tell me that in the first place and instead making me wait and waste my time here? This process has been incredible inefficient unfriendly not downright rude. The people working the front have no idea what they're doing. They are unable to manage their cash register because I watched them fumble multiple peoples receipts and couldn't get the right payment to the right table. While they're trying to check me in. If they told me in the beginning, it would be an hour and 10 minutes. It would've been better because then I could've run errands or done something else while I was waiting. But for the fact that they told me it was 30 minutes and then another 40 that is complete garbage I don't know if all first watches are this, but Novi highly do not recommend. read more

I just love First Watch, such an extensive menu to choose from, I love always trying something new. One of my favorite things that's always on their spring specials menu is the avocado, crab toast, I got mine with my eggs scrambled and feta in them, so yummy!! Another fan favorite is their million dollar bacon, we got extra good pieces of bacon this time! I am sad that the Tangerine Dream drink is gone as it was a special, but the Tropical Sunrise drink was a decent replacement. We first discovered First Watch on a trip to Chattanooga, TN and fell in love. I was so excited to discover that the chain has locations in Michigan! Unfortunately, the nearest location to our house is about a 50 min drive in Novi, but we made the trek. Please First Watch I beg of you - put a location in Howell/Brighton or the east side of Lansing! The menu is so inventive. They have unique offerings with a rotating seasonal menu. The millionaire bacon cannot be missed. Great coffee and they specialize in iced coffee with seasonal options that sound amazing. I am dairy & egg free so I do have a bit of a challenge with breakfast. However, First Watch has a really tasty oatmeal. I also LOVE their side of fried potatoes. The chicken sausage is good. My daughter has enjoyed everything she tried including the French toast and their fresh baked muffin of the day.
