I've been here three times and each visit is better than the last. The food is a-maz-ing. Well prepared and presented. Service is top notch. I'll keep going that's for sure! read more

Excellent breakfast joint located in downtown Milford. My five loaves signature omellet was well made, with fresh ingredients and very tasty. The generous amount of complementary ingredients included spinach, sweet red peppers, bacon and was topped with generous slices of fresh avocado's. Nice! Probably the only other thing I would have added if at all was some cheese inside the omellet which was an option if desired. Definately a superior omelet that is in the top tier of what is offered in this area. The omelet also came with a side of seasoned home fries which was equally as tasty in its own right where the seasoning really added a flavor pop to the potato's. Relative to facility and staff, the restaurant is clean and bright with basic decor where they let the food do the talking here. The staff is extremely friendly and good with kids where out large party included 8 unruly and slightly wild grandkids (: Inspite of my grandkids best efforts to turn the place upside down these folks were friendly and verrrry understanding throughout and I give them high marks for that. Overall if you are looking for a top tier breakfast place and you are in the Milford area than this is definately a business to check out. This may have been my first visit here but it definately will not be my last. read more

Five Loaves did a fantastic job on Mother's Day! It was my first time there and WOW I was blown away! The food was excellent!! I had the chorizo bowl with two eggs over easy on top. OMG it was the best breakfast bowl I've ever had! All the ingredients were fresh and full of flavor. The service was also excellent! Our server Franstina (sp?) was so kind and so apologetic for the wait. Their entire staff was very friendly and patient. I'm so happy we have another good breakfast spot in Milford. I was also so happy I had many delicious gluten free options. Can't wait to return!! Ps- the words on the wall are pics from the restroom. read more

LOVE LOVE LOVE!!! First breakfast place I truly ever been to that I left and I felt good! Sometimes I leave places feeling heavy and sluggish. Their food gives me energy and filled me up. You cannot go wrong with anything on the menu, all of their options are amazing. Not to mention their coffee! Eliza the barista makes great drinks!! Such a beautiful building and the old bank vault coffee bar is an amazing touch. The family is so sweet and makes everyone feel so welcomed! Cannot say enough good things about this place! read more

Amazing! Service, food and coffee all the best we've had. Gluten free Spicy Chicken is the best gf fried chicken I've ever had.

I got excellent carryout from this restaurant. The food was well prepared and quite tasty, and the portions were large enough for two meals. They packaged everything carefully. The restaurant itself was nice, casual, clean and bright. The staff were very friendly. I'll come in again to dine in when I'm on this side of town. read more

This is a 3.5 star across the board. Good, but not great. Ok compared to the swath of new brunch places hitting the food scene. A bit pricey for what you get both in portion size and presentation. Wouldn't not come back, but wouldn't go out of my way to eat there either. read more

Great location, outstanding service, and the food is top-notch. These gluten-free fruit pancakes are fluffy, topped with fresh berries and crème; no food coma afterwards! Highly recommend this spot. read more

Very disappointed. Drove out to Milford Saturday, January 31 to try this new brunch spot that we heard was pretty good as you may know there is a limited amount of breakfast spots in the Milford downtown area. double checked both yelp and Google and confirmed that the business is open on Saturdays. We were very disappointed to show up to a sign on the door saying closed Saturday. It was a complete waste of our time. read more

The food here is excellent as was the service. We opted to sit inside--it was VERY noisy! There is nothing to absorb or deaden the sound--should have chosen the patio! Will come again, but will sit outside or pick a non busy time. Seriously, they need some sound deading!! read more

Another great meal at Five Loaves! I tried the Five Loaves omelet and it was packed with lots of bacon, spinach, and red peppers. It was topped with avocado. Delicious! I had it with the side of fruit and sourdough bread. We sat outside and had great service. read more

The restaurant is well decorated and really cute. It's clean too! That's my most important consideration!! It's bright, and well lit, too. This is a new breakfast/lunch spot on the downtown Milford area and what a wonderful gem this is. Bright and cheery with real flowers on the table. We stopped in for a quick lunch bite and were not disappointed . I had the greens and feta salad with grilled chicken. The salad was a VERY generous portion with FRESH ingredients, no brown or wilted lettuce. It had thinly sliced beets. Kalmata olives, tomatoes, cucumbers and the grilled chicken was very well seasoned and not dry. My husband had the club sandwich and it had a generous portion of meat Unfortunately I forgot my phone so I couldn't take pictures. The staff is so friendly. They have a great variety of breakfast options on the menu as well as lunch. Gluten free options as well. read more

I'm giving Five Loaves a five star for a lot of reasons but mainly the service which was exceptional. I had contacted them when they first opened via email to see if they could make a large reservation for my group. They responded right away and told me they would love to, but they had just opened and they needed to see how things were going since my reservation would be for a later date They told me to contact them back. When I did, they were more than helpful, allowing me to make my reservation for 24 people when we arrived we were able to be seated right away. It is not always possible to satisfy a large group is senior citizens but they were able to do it easily. They have a pretty diverse menu with choices for breakfast and lunch. I chose the French toast with banana and pecans. I didn't enjoy my selection although I probably would not order it again. I felt for the price point. It should've had more bananas and pecans on it other than that, the coffee was good. Everyone seemed to enjoy their selections most ordered the omelette with the avocado on top, can't remember the name but everyone left super happy. Will return to try the lemon blueberry pancakes! read more

I had never been to Five Loaves and heard such good things about it. Unfortunately that was not my experience. we waited for close to 45 minutes for our food and when it came it was cold. Mom's French toast was good but her bacon was burnt. They did offer to remake it which I accepted but by then we had been here close to an hour and a half. I had to flag down the waitress twice for more coffee. She wasn't very attentive AT ALL. Maybe because I'm an older woman with a 95 year old mother? Ageism at its finest. read more

Very clean but rather chaotic during our visit. Took a while for the hostess to clear a dirty table for us. After that we had another lengthy wait for our waitress to appear. Once we ordered we waited over 30 minutes for our food. Fresh squeezed orange juice was delicious. Coffee was very good. My husband ordered the blueberry pancakes, which were listed as fluffy, but arrived rather flat and not golden in color. The taste was OK though. Turkey sausage on the side was almost immediately cold. I had the western bowl. Poached eggs were perfectly cooked although the chop on the green pepper could've been smaller. I opted for a house made biscuit. The waitress suggested getting it griddled and buttered. Unfortunately, she forgot to bring it to me until I was more than halfway through my meal. If I ordered it again, I would probably not get it griddled. I think it affected the taste in a negative way. I would give it another try but would probably skip Saturday mornings. read more

Good, Good and good. Got our table as soon as we reached , no waiting for hours, ambiance was cute and cozy, service was excellent all the ladies were very sweet n accommodating. She even gave extra cup of coffee to go We took latte and house coffee it was excellent. For food we took scrambled egg with chicken and vegetable omlete with potatoes, oh the potatoes were mouthwatering. And took waffles, which was not that great could have been better. But a good place to visit. Sorry again was very hungry and didn't take pictures. read more

Great food, service was wonderful, perfect location downtown to explore after a tasty meal. I recommend the breakfast burrito ! Yum.

Great hidden breakfast brunch restaurant on Main Street. Stopped there on our tandem bike. Nice selection on menu. Quite quaint with the vault in back to keep the coffee safe. The staff was extremely hospitable, and the food was all very fresh. Service was pretty quick. We left there quite filled and satisfied. I highly recommend this morning restaurant if you're down on Main Street! read more

Five Loaves Brunch - Lots to choose from! - Breakfast & Brunch Near Me - Milford, Michigan

Five Loaves is a great addition to Downtown Milford. Two times dining here. Service was fantastic, owner stopped by to chat. Food was great! Coffee excellent! Two suggestions- 1.) Please serve two pieces of toast, bake the cost of the second slice into your food costs. 2.) With a name like Five Loaves, you really should lean into serving killer bread. Partner with a local bakery or feature Zingerman's breads. An artisan breads basket & spreads would have aligned awesome with the restaurant theme of Five Loaves. Ambiance is clean and coffee vault is a killer feature. Definitely will enjoying breakfast here regularly. read more

Five Loaves is my favorite breakfast/lunch spot downtown Milford. I eat here regularly. Not only are the food and coffee drinks delicious and consistently good - they also provide many gluten free options much to my delight. Having celiac's disease, it's difficult to find tasty gluten free alternatives at most places. They do a great job providing the best GF options. Also, I must add, the restaurant was unexpectedly closed last Saturday due to the death of one of the owners. It was clearly stated on the sign on the door as being the reason. This is a very valid reason to close suddenly and I'm shocked that a previous review would complain that it wasn't posted on yelp or google that they were closed this day. Things happen. read more

The service was great. I can't believe it's in the old comerica bank . I your usual eggs, and toast . Nothing usual about it. A 5 out is 5. My husband ordered buttermilk pancakes (delicious) and the best link sausage.i had the biscuit. Since I was down south. Get the potato.... Get2 orders. Fantastic service, great coffee. Food is equal to Lena's bust she's still the best.. I love this place. The place looks totally different but a blast from the past, very clean and comfortable, read more

Meh...the best thing was the corned beef hash. Waitress stood around a LOT. Toast had a swirl of "butter". Food not hot. Not impressive, at all. I had higher hopes for a new place in town. Chairs are not comfortable. The ones at the high tables looked even worse. The place looks really fresh. Based on the looks and the corned beef hash-3 stars, otherwise 1-2. read more
