Super busy brunch spot, but totally worth it. Despite the crowd, our waitress was incredibly friendly and patient. The food came out tasty and well-prepared. Overall, a great experience -- I definitely recommend it!

Five Loaves omelet with fruit and sourdough toast

Another great meal at Five Loaves! I tried the Five Loaves omelet and it was packed with lots of bacon, spinach, and red peppers. It was topped with avocado. Delicious! I had it with the side of fruit and sourdough bread. We sat outside and had great service.

Great location, outstanding service, and the food is top-notch. These gluten-free fruit pancakes are fluffy, topped with fresh berries and crème; no food coma afterwards! Highly recommend this spot.

Delicious Vegetable omelette, perfectly cooked potatoes, and a magnificently toasted gluten free bagel.

The owner was working at the hostess stand and she's very friendly and makes everyone feel quite welcome. Our service was fantastic! Food was delivered fast and hot. The restaurant is well decorated and really cute. It's clean too! That's my most important consideration!! It's bright, and well lit, too. The potatoes with my omelette were absolutely perfectly cooked and my gluten free bagel was toasted to perfection!!

I'm giving Five Loaves a five star for a lot of reasons but mainly the service which was exceptional. I had contacted them when they first opened via email to see if they could make a large reservation for my group. They responded right away and told me they would love to, but they had just opened and they needed to see how things were going since my reservation would be for a later date They told me to contact them back. When I did, they were more than helpful, allowing me to make my reservation for 24 people when we arrived we were able to be seated right away. It is not always possible to satisfy a large group is senior citizens but they were able to do it easily. They have a pretty diverse menu with choices for breakfast and lunch. I chose the French toast with banana and pecans. I didn't enjoy my selection although I probably would not order it again. I felt for the price point. It should've had more bananas and pecans on it other than that, the coffee was good. Everyone seemed to enjoy their selections most ordered the omelette with the avocado on top, can't remember the name but everyone left super happy. Will return to try the lemon blueberry pancakes!

    Lots to choose from!

The staff was amazing, the food was delicious and the prices were outstanding for the overall experience. But the above and beyond came from one of their employees, Alicia, who was kind enough to offer to drive us back to our cars because it had started pouring rain! (We had parked several blocks away because town was busy because of the Milford sidewalk sale) That level of customer care is rare, and was much appreciated!

Yes yes yes!!! I'd been craving Gus's famous fried chicken (from Memphis) for a while! When my…read morefriend suggested Charlie's I had my doubts. Boy oh boy am I glad we went!! Chicken was perfection! The perfect amount of batter, chicken was so tender and juicy! I'm not a huge fan of gravy so getting it on the side was perfect for me. My mom got the bourbon maple salmon and the woman ate the whole thing!! She's a leftovers lover, so her finishing her plate is very unlike her!! My friend go the best dish, in my opinion. He got the walleye and fries!! It's HUGE, delicious and fresh!! The tartar sauce is also a hit, something I find is always a hit or miss at restaurants!! We were celebrating a birthday so got the peach cobbler. So yummy!! The only thing I'd change is instead of whipped cream serve with ice cream!! 10/10 would recommend!! Live music on Tuesdays is also a great add on!! Our 20 month old loved the music!

She was so on top of everything, it made the trip more than worth it! Even our previous server (who was working the bar last night) made it a point to say hi to us, and thanked us for coming in as we were heading out! Food was excellent, their homemade mashed potatoes are the bomb, and their chicken and build a burger was excellent! This is another rare place that can get meat temperatures right. They had a big group that was occupying the staff, but all of them were collectively working together to see that everybody was properly being handled. We haven't seen attentiveness or attention to detail like this since leaving Las Vegas. You can tell the management has put a lot of hands on time and effort in to their staff as well as their food. The feel of this location is great and it has outdoor seating available. Definitely stop in here you can't go wrong!

Decided to give this place a try on Memorial Day weekend and went specifically for happy hour deals…read moreand also decided to eat dinner. Happy hour: well drinks $4 (great deal), wine and margarita good deals too. Note that craft beer was not on happy hour (disappointing). Appeared only bottled beers were on happy hour; wish that beer on tap was at least some discount like $1 off would be a nice perk. Craft beer tall was $8.50. Ouch. (Even the local river edge's brewery doesn't charge that much.) Select appetizers were $7. Pretzels were okay. Not very good flavoring and a little tough chewy for our liking. The mustard was more honey mustard texture instead of stone mustard that I prefer with pretzels. The beet cheese was good. They do give a generous amount of beer cheese. Main course/meals: husband got the Alabama smash burger which he said was good and flavorful. Fries were good with a nice coating. I had the steak tacos. I do want to note I have a tomato allergy so needed to make some modifications and also don't like grilled onions. However I was very disappointed with the steak tacos. They were very small size (like appetizer to me) and all it had was the steak and melted cheese. Lettuce and avocado would have gave these some flavor. I asked for a side of beer cheese with the tortilla chips since I could have salsa. I was upcharged $3. Very confusing because bill said it was taken off then it was added back on at the bottom of the bill?! They have a bar area that is separate from the rest of the restaurant. They have a lot of seating with a mix of tables and booths. Bill was $70 for 2 tall beers, 1 well drink, 1 appetizer, burger and tacos. Plus tip was almost $90. Disappointing and not worth the money. Many other places locally that you get more food and drinks for the money.

Arrived at 2:30 PM and were immediately seated in a roomy booth by Jess B. The atmosphere is well appointed; however, the industrial ceiling may cause hearing issues when the area is filled. Jess advised us of the luncheon specials and brought our beverages immediately after we ordered them (diet soda $3.95). The menu is extensive and can be modified to fit customers taste. Wife ordered Harvest Sacchetti Pasta, without the Carmalized onions or wild blend nushrooms ($24.00). I ordered the Pit smoked brisket with glazed carrots and cheesy hash ($24.00). Food was served in a timely fashion. Very nice presentation (as shown on the website menu), ample serving size, correct temperature and as ordered. Jess was attentive without hovering. Drinks were refilled, satisfaction was verified, box was provided to take home. Bill was presented, correctly listed and easy to read. Asked Jess about weekend reservations and was informed that Saturdays are usually full. Look forward to returning.

Glad we got reservations, since it's busy tonight…read more The shoreline chicken sounds good, except for the shrimp, the elote egg rolls sounds good, except for the chorizo, crab stuffed mushrooms sounds good, except for the shrimp again. Wish the BG bowl didn't have rice mixed with the farro. Ordered the crab Rangoon, calamari with the sweet chili sauce on the side, Caesar salad with blackened salmon, no croutons, BG bowl and a side BG salad less pecans and cherries. $86.82 Their house bread is not warm, it reminds me of an airy focaccia. Their sun-dried tomato oil dip is quite delicious. The calamari is okay, a lot of tentacles than the rings, more zucchini filler than I would expect, not enough calamari rings. Left all of the small tentacles for my hubby, not for me. The crab Rangoon pouches are creamy. The Hawaiian chili sauce isn't my jam, it's not for me. Didn't work for the calamari or the crab Rangoon. The salmon on the Caesar was medium cooked or medium to well. It had to go back to the kitchen to get fully cooked. The Caesar salad was ok, although it had croutons, which we asked to not get any. The waitress and the manager both walked by and asked my husband if everything was ok. My husband nodded and said it's ok. Guess my opinion didn't matter? My waitress attempted to take my salad away from me twice before I was done with it. The BG bowl reminds me of a teriyaki sauce so much. We did have to ask for a couple of our drink refills or put our glasses at the end of the table to get our waitresses or others attention.
