Great Service and amazing food. Nice portions. Came here. A few times on a business trip. If you have the chance it's worth it. Quaint cafe decor and very clean. Extensive breakfast and lunch items very well prepared. They did accommodate my special request.

Great brunch spot with a large variety of food options. Highly recommend the crispy salad with the mustard/ranch dressing.

Having grown up in Detroit, I had to try the Maurice salad, which I often had at Hudson's. It was excellent and loaded with meat and cheese. The menu is extremely extensive, and there is something for everyone's palate. We got there at about 11:15 AM, / 1130. The crowd started pouring in. That's a place that i'm definitely going back to. The orders arrive quicker than you can. Snap your fingers and they aree GOOD too. The ambiance is very pleasant and our server was friendly and helpful as well. HIGHLY recommended. This is probably the best new place.I have tried recently.

The food was delicious for the most part. Highly recommend getting a vanilla latte! The waffle and scrambled eggs were incredible. I love that the waffles had fresh strawberries. The bacon was also very crispy which was good. The hashbrowns and toast could've been better. The service was great. I think our waitress was Evita, and she is a fantastic waitress. Overall, great experience.

Solid breakfast fare, spotty service Was in the area and this was one of the few places open when I'm up normally. So I went here to get some decent breakfast grub. I came in and the servers were all milling about at the front podium. It takes them a few seconds before someone addresses me. I get led to a table and get a menu. Looking through the menu, I see they do a bananas foster oatmeal and a strawberry shortcake stuffed French toast. I ask the server if I could get the toppings of the oatmeal on the French toast. She goes to ask and they deny the ask. I then ask if they got ice cream, which they only have vanilla. So I get their apple cinnamon French toast, but ask for a scoop of ice cream on the side. Order comes out, ice cream is put on top as a garnish. Slightly upset, but I dig in regardless. The French toast is pretty good. It's a freshly made cinnamon raisin bread, which you don't usually see. The apples are mostly rendered, but still have some chew. The custard is solid, the cream cheese was sweetened and the ice cream was of decent The only detractor in terms of quality was the cheap canned whipped cream they put on the plate. Easy enough to throw away though Price was high for the quality. But it was good, and cooked well. It's a good spot for breakfast, they just need to be more open to requests

As for the waffle take what I say with a grain of salt. I ordered the chicken waffle. 14 dollar price point for what they give you 3 chicken tenders and a waffle. The waffle is bland. They give you 3 frozen chicken tenders on top of it. Not a fan. If I wanted to eat frozen brand chicken tenders. I'd go to Meijer. Service was generous and the setting is nice. If I go again to try other food. I may update this review. But right now I cannot justify more than 3 stars.

    Western Omelette + pancakes

This was my first time going to Brunch Cafe and it was delicious and the service was great. My friend got the western omelette and she enjoyed it. I got the meat and cheese skillet with poached eggs and then upgraded my side of pancakes to Oreo pancakes. I loved the skillet, I added some hot sauce and it was so delicious. The poached eggs were cooked perfectly and the Oreo pancake was the perfect size and yummy, I def recommend this place for brunch.

Came on a Sunday afternoon for brunch. Walked in and seated right away. Staff was very welcoming and the service was very nice. Ambiance is very casual. The freshly squeezed orange juice was delish! I waited maybe 25-30 minutes for my food and I was okay with that. The food was very good, especially the pancakes! The apples weren't mushy and were cooked to perfection. So I know I'll be back for those! All I need is a mimosa to top of a wonderful brunch.

Bacon Waffle was delicious and everything I expected it to be.

The food was awesome, more than what I expected. The service was great. Quiet atmosphere my wife really did well selecting this restaurant for my bday! That's why I love her.

The food was really good, I had the California Salad & my husband really enjoyed the California Burger & thought the coffee was great. Can't wait to try more items on their large menu

    Limoncello crepes
    Jillian H.

Service is friendly and attentive. Sat outside for breakfast. On the sidewalk - in front of the restaurant. Ordered the Limoncello blueberry crepes. Presentation was nice - taste not so much. Worst part was the crepes. Disappointed that they were doughy/rubbery. They are the foundation of the meal so it's important to get it right. Perhaps they have too many menu items.

Server number 200 did not do that for me this evening. I went to Archie's on a recommendation from my local host. My Cajun chicken salad was decent, nothing to brag about, nothing to complain about. The bartender took my drink and food order, but someone else delivered my food, and kindly asked if I needed anything else. I said no. The bartender passed by me no less than a dozen times, never stopping once to check in. She busied herself with socializing with the locals at the tables, but couldn't offer a simple check in to see if I liked my food or needed anything else. Before that, my tip was going to be 30%, which is standard. By the time I left, it dropped down to just under 20%. She was not even deserving of that, but I am a decent guy. As I walked out, I expected a parting greeting from the bartender who was at another table. Nothing. As I passed by the host, I expected another greeting. Nothing. There is absolutely nothing about this restaurant, the food, or the staff that would encourage me to return or recommend it to anyone else. Nothing.

This is what we ordered and how each item was: Monte Cristo - I was VERY excited about this and it was delicious. It was a giant portion. There is French toast, thic ham, Swiss cheese, icing, and a ton of blueberry compote. I would get this again, but I would ask for the compote on the side. It was delicious but it was a mess! Chorizo breakfast quesadilla - it was tasty, very simple, just eggs cheese and chorizo. It was all in the center, so lots of empty tortilla. I would not get that again, only because I would get something with more components. The side was salsa and sour cream. The eggs were cooked perfectly in it, I'll say that. Potato latke - huge portion for the half order. Very thick and very crispy (deep fried maybe?). It tasted like they were binded with pancake batter. They were not for me, I like them a little more traditional - but my son and husband enjoyed them. They come with a tiny cup of cooked apples and a side of sour cream. It was really nice to find a place with a huge and interesting menu. So much better than a chain, and the food was special and the prices were fair. I'm excited to dine in-person next time.

We both had a bourbon cream hot cocoa. It was barely like warm. Marshmallows were toasted nicely on my drink and pretty burnt on the other (I wouldn't have minded burnt marshmallows). The pesto on top of the marinara sauce was delicious. I would recommend skipping the Maple Bourbon Chicken and Waffles. The waffle was so dry. The applewood bacon was the best part of the dish. The chicken was a bit overcooked, so it was also dry. The good gravy skillet was "peppery" according to my friend - which is literally in the description. She felt it was too peppery. The "over easy" egg was way over cooked! It was over-hard at best. The kicker was when our server asked us if we wanted more water and poured less than a half glass each of water - which was about 3 sips.
