Solid food for a hotel restaurant. Stacy running the bar is a saint and took care of me with suggestions and provided great service. Was pretty bustling with business travelers for a Wednesday night. Will definitely be eating here moving forward when staying at the Marriott property.

It is the bar restaurant in the lobby of the hotel. Rebranded from Lorraine to Fins. Different paints and pics on the wall. Hotel pub food. Prices are still a little high for the area and type of food I was at the grand reopening. The new booths/divider walls look like they were thrown together in two days by rough carpenters using the distressed construction grade plywood off the discount rack at Home Depot

Not really the best dining for a person with food allergies. They don't have a great gluten-free selection.

We tried the following: Sriracha Brussel sprouts- i thought they would have more flavor and heat. We had to ask for extra sauce, eg okay. Lemon pepper wings- dry rub but would've appreciated more flavor, was okay too. Salmon plate with mashed potatoes- My friend loved his entry. Overall, this is a decent place for beer lovers, watching sports or having a decent meal at decent prices.

We both had a bourbon cream hot cocoa. It was barely like warm. Marshmallows were toasted nicely on my drink and pretty burnt on the other (I wouldn't have minded burnt marshmallows). The food was just meh... the Yuletide Boursin dip with garlic Parmesan puffs was ok. The "puffs" were fairly heavy and dense. There was far more marinara sauce than anything else. The pesto on top of the marinara sauce was delicious. I would recommend skipping the Maple Bourbon Chicken and Waffles. The waffle was so dry. The applewood bacon was the best part of the dish. The chicken was a bit overcooked, so it was also dry. The good gravy skillet was "peppery" according to my friend - which is literally in the description. She felt it was too peppery. The "over easy" egg was way over cooked! It was over-hard at best. The kicker was when our server asked us if we wanted more water and poured less than a half glass each of water - which was about 3 sips. (And yes, the water pitcher was full, she could have easily filled our glasses). I will add - the hostess was a delight! She greeted us as soon as we walked in, sat us promptly, and told us to enjoy our meals.

Server number 200 did not do that for me this evening. I went to Archie's on a recommendation from my local host. My Cajun chicken salad was decent, nothing to brag about, nothing to complain about. The bartender took my drink and food order, but someone else delivered my food, and kindly asked if I needed anything else. I said no. The bartender passed by me no less than a dozen times, never stopping once to check in. She busied herself with socializing with the locals at the tables, but couldn't offer a simple check in to see if I liked my food or needed anything else. Before that, my tip was going to be 30%, which is standard. By the time I left, it dropped down to just under 20%. She was not even deserving of that, but I am a decent guy. As I walked out, I expected a parting greeting from the bartender who was at another table. Nothing. As I passed by the host, I expected another greeting. Nothing. There is absolutely nothing about this restaurant, the food, or the staff that would encourage me to return or recommend it to anyone else. Nothing.

From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere sets a festive tone. Soft spring colors, they had a Easter bunny walking around, and subtle seasonal décor create a warm, welcoming space that feels perfect for gathering with family and friends. There's an unmistakable sense of occasion in the air--lively, but never overwhelming. The buffet itself is nothing short of impressive. The spread is expansive and thoughtfully curated, balancing traditional Easter favorites with elevated culinary touches. Perfectly glazed ham and made to order omelette station, while sides like creamy biscuits and gravy, ,fresh spring vegetables, and buttery rolls round out the classics. Each dish is prepared with care, offering both comfort and quality. What truly stands out is the variety. Seafood options, crisp salads, made-to-order omelets and even a few unexpected gourmet additions ensure there's something for every palate. The freshness is evident in every bite, and the constant replenishment keeps everything looking and tasting its best. And then there's dessert--arguably the highlight. A beautifully arranged selection of pastries, brownies and Easter-themed treats invites you to indulge, it's a sweet finale that perfectly complements the meal. Service is attentive and polished, with staff maintaining a seamless flow despite the busy holiday crowd. Plates are cleared promptly, drinks are refilled without asking, and the overall experience feels smooth and well-managed. Fun for grown ups, I suppose, but I think it's really weird that kids are there with parents. I just don't get it. that might keep me from returning, honestly. I think it should be 18+ or they should wear shorts under the skirts. Our service was good and it was crowded. We really liked the fried jalapenos - homemade and delicious. The smoked/grilled wings tasted nice and smoky and they were tender, but they could have used 5 more minutes on the grill to crisp up the skin - they were a bit flabby. Sauce tasted good though, and I'd get them again. They also have naked and breaded options. The burgers were decent, but the meat really could have used some seasoning or even just salt. But the avocado was nice and fresh, and the meat was cooked perfectly. Juicy and flavorful. The fries came out hot and fresh out of the fryer, and I appreciated that. Lots of beer options, a couple of ciders, lots of shots, signature cocktails and lemonades to choose from at decent prices. It's nice to see $8-$12 cocktails. We'd come back, but maybe later to avoid the kids?

From Retro Bliss to Corporate Miss - 1Up's New Management Hits Rock Bottom…read more.. Oh, how the mighty have fallen. 1Up Arcade Bar, once my go-to haven for arcade nostalgia and friendly vibes, has devolved into a shell of its former self. Under the new management, the experience has gone from retro joy to something resembling a garish corporate money pit. If you're looking to relive the good old days of arcade glory, consider this your neon-lit warning sign to stay far, far away. First off, the bartenders. Remember last year when 1Up's bartenders were warm, cheerful, and chatty, making you feel like you were part of the family? Well, those days are deader than my high score on Pac-Man. The new bartenders treat you with the exact enthusiasm you'd expect from someone waiting at the DMV. Ordering a drink here feels like you've personally interrupted their day--and heaven forbid you ask any questions about the menu. Smiles? Gone. Friendly banter? Vanished. You're left standing there with your overpriced, uninspired drink wondering if you've wandered into a soulless high-end cocktail bar by mistake. Ah, the drinks. Once playful and creative masterpieces that added to 1Up's charm, they've been replaced with pretentious, unimaginative concoctions that scream, "We're fancy now; please empty your wallet." No fun, no spirit (pun intended), just overpriced disappointments. At their current price point, I half expected the drink to come with complimentary resentment from the staff. And don't get me started on the arcade machines. Gone are the iconic retro classics that made me feel like I'd stepped back into the golden age of arcades. Instead, the place is now stuffed with bright, flashy, wallet-draining horrors you'd find at a Dave and Buster's. What happened to the charm? The authenticity? Now it's just a playground for toddlers with no attention spans and those who value flashing lights over actual gameplay. Speaking of, if you're a Gen Z-er armed with your parents' credit card and an inability to go three seconds without dopamine overload, this place might actually be a dream come true for you. The rest of us? Not so much. Look, 1Up Arcade Bar used to be a gem, but now it feels like a soulless cash grab. Don't come here hoping for a genuine arcade bar experience because you'll leave disappointed--and poorer. Save your time, save your money, and spare yourself the heartbreak of seeing what this place has become. RIP, old 1Up. You are sorely missed.
