Our waitress had a sarcastic sense of humor. She was efficient and spunky. Both my coworker and I had the Nassou byo. One with fries and and one with sweet potato fries. This burger was actually really really good and both types of fries as well. It was a nice size and I saved a little less than half for later. I would go back for lunch or dinner and try a beverage. My only complaint is they have a KC burger on the menu and I asked the waitress what made it a KC Burger and she wasn't sure and said maybe the onion rings and the BBQ sauce. She said the sauce they use is Sweet Baby Rays, those of us from KC know that isn't a KC BBQ Sauce! Not a fan of that. Other than that, things were pretty good.

It's spacious, comfortable, and such a pleasant place to sit outside while still being able to catch the games on TV. The service here has always been consistent, and last night it was excellent. They have a new menu, and I'm already looking forward to coming back and trying more of the entrées. We started with their house-made potato chips, and don't sleep on these! They're hearty, crisp, and actually taste like potatoes--which sounds obvious, but makes such a difference. They come with two dips: a warm cheese dip and a French onion dip. I'm a chips-and-dip person, so this was right up my alley! We also tried the everything bagel pretzel bites with queso, and this was another great combination. The pretzel bites were warm, flavorful, and super tasty, and the everything bagel seasoning paired perfectly with the queso. The Sports Den also has a large indoor dining area with a great bar, plenty of seating, and TVs everywhere, so there really isn't a bad spot if you're there to watch a game. It's nice having a place like this in Northville--casual, comfortable, friendly, and consistently dependable. The patio remains one of my favorite parts, and with the new menu, I definitely have a few more reasons to come back soon!

We both got what we're looking for here! I tried an utterly delectable pasta dish. It was the special and called my name: a generous serving of butternut squash ravioli in a brown butter sauce, with carmelized onions and tender DUCK meat pieces ALL through, and topped with crushed toasted pistachios. It felt downright luxurious. The pasta was thin and perfectly prepared. It also came with a house salad, which was dressed with a light citrus vinaigrette, cranberries, and pine nuts. This meal absolutely scratched the itch for something special. And the burger? High marks! It was a perfect medium rare as requested, and very tender. The cole slaw side was a nice-sized pile, more vinegar dressed, and got good reviews as well. Also, the meal started with some crusty but super tender interior garlic rolls. Our service was very good. The restaurant is an interesting mix of casual and fancy-ish. We weren't rushed and enjoyed the ambiance. Decor could use a deeper clean. Bathrooms were clean and ladies' was very pretty. Clientele leaned older, but that makes sense because from what I understand DJBs is a classic. It may have been in the game a while, but that's because they know what they are doing and do it right, and there is plenty of game right here still! I would definitely return.

Their homemade rolls are served in a butter/garlic and fresh made. Fish and chips are really good, their batter doesn't overwhelm it like some places do, and I believe their tartar is house made also. The chili is excellent and the Green Machine with chicken was great and a good size. Our server was Miraya (I'm probably killing the spelling sorry) and she was so nice and helpful! The staff does not turn over here like other places, and they all seem very enthusiastic to be there, which you don't see often. It's obvious the ownership cares a lot about their staff, as well as delivering quality food to their customers. The seating seems a little tight, but it's uniquely designed. It's not very loud, so it's a great place for a date or just a nice 20 year anniversary dinner! (Ours) This is a great place to try if you haven't yet. Their menu has something for everyone.
