    The Wixom Breakfast
    Steven B.

Can you say Brunch! Stopped in for breakfast at this home town vibe local eatery. The Wixom breakfast was great with three eggs, sausage, ham and bacon with hash browns and toast. My server was prompt and attentive keeping my coffee full and checking with me that all was good. I will definitely be returning to try some of the omelets.

My friend took me here for a birthday brunch on a Friday at about 12:30. It was very busy - all the booths were full but we were still seated immediately at a high top table. The latte was possibly the best I've had - great flavor and so pretty! I ordered the lemon ricotta pancakes with strawberries and a side of bacon. It was very busy so the food took a bit to come, but it was hot and tasty. Bacon was perfectly done; crisp but not hard and the pancakes were light and fluffy with a slight lemon flavor. There was an Easter tree in the corner and some Christian messaging in the windows, along with a lot of cute Easter decorations, which didn't bother me, but may not be to everyone's taste.

Such a great restaurant. I came here a week ago and they were busy, so we tried again earlier today. And YAY! Gina was so nice when she answered the phone and even came over and introduced herself. Our actual waitress was nice and attentive too. The lattes were so nice to have. It's not often that I can find places that have decaf espresso and they did. It wasn't bitter or anything. The valentines lates were so amazing. I really enjoyed the craft and creativity of it. Shrimp and grits were very good. They have a kick to them, but it wasn't spicy to me. To others it could be. It was a mixture of big pieces of shrimp and some sausages cut up with tomatoes. I wish it had peppers and onions, but I'm sure I can ask for that and they can do it. The grits were cooked perfectly for this dish. The eggs and potatoes were good also. I love when the hashbrowns are like this. And they have the perfect crisp on top. The egg quality was good too. Crepes were actually pretty good and didn't have that eggy taste to them. It tasted more pancake which was good. Overall for all our food we paid about 47$. Two entrees with an extra side and two premium lattes isn't too bad of a deal. I will have to make this spot a once a month thing for sure. Was so happy and pleased with everyone and everything.

Food: 4/5 Ordered the Eggs Benedict and Strawberry Crepe. The Eggs Benedict was one of the best I've had. The cream was incredibly rich and flavorful. The Strawberry Crepe was perfectly balanced, not overly sweet, making it a great choice if you prefer lighter desserts. Service: 5/5 Excellent service. The staff were warm, welcoming, and greeted us with genuine friendliness. Ambiance: 5/5 Very cozy and inviting atmosphere . A place that instantly makes you feel comfortable. Would definitely recommend and visit again!

Tasty coffee and food! I like that the drinks weren't overly sweet, but they look terrific. The breakfast food was outstanding, and there were a lot of choices that looked delicious. Friendly staff. The Wi-Fi also worked well. I'll definitely be back.

Had brunch on a Sunday at 11am and we were seated right away. Everything is super clean and the staff is knowledgeable, quick, and friendly! The food is very reasonably priced! We forgot to take a picture of the food prior to eating, so only have the menu to show for it (lol)! Our party got the pancakes, original breakfast, crepes, and an omelet! No complaints from the group and everything came out correctly, quickly, and tasty! Going to have to try lunch items the next time we come for a more thorough review. Will definitely be coming back

Went here with my broke best friend. Didn't get a shot of the food before I dug in.

I'mma give 5 stars strictly because of the proximity factor (I live near Wixom), but let's call it a solid 4 and 3/4, and that's only because there's no alcohol. Listen, Wixom finally got a heavy hitter. This place just opened up around November and it's already out here doing the most. I might be a little biased because it's basically in my backyard, but trust me. Anybody in the area, or even anyone simply looking for some good brunch would be doing themselves a disservice by skipping this one. First off, the menu is massive. I'm talking legitimate decision paralysis. Usually, I know exactly what I want, but they have so many options that I actually had to take a second to process it. The aesthetic is solid too. It gives off that three-and-a-half-star fancy vibe without being pretentious. Even at near capacity with families everywhere, the service was fantastic. They were moving! Now, the food? Phenomenal. I went with the shrimp and grits and a side of biscuits and gravy (my forever fan favorite). I don't know what kind of Louisiana magic they put in that sauce, but the spice level was "gas" as the kids would say. It was flavorful with some heat, but it won't ruin your day. It didn't even need salt, but I added a pinch at the end anyway and it turned "perfection" into "perfection-er". The biscuits and gravy held their own too. Even smothered in sausage gravy, that biscuit kept its crispy texture, which is a big win in my book. I washed it all down with a cookie butter latte that was straight-up chef's kiss. Just like some of my other favorite spots, there are no alcoholic drinks here, but c'est la vie. The restaurant business is a grind to break into. If we keep supporting brilliance like this, they'll be around for a long time. Gon 'head n take a gander at this one.

All-around great new spot for breakfast, brunch, and lunch! Beautiful redo inside and out on this corner restaurant. Waitstaff are helpful, kind, friendly, attentive, efficient, and happy! The menu is creative and delicious! Pancakes, crepes, biscuits and gravy - all way yummy! This is a visit and revisit over and over place to eat.

Starting off when walking in, I loved how modern and comfortable the small space is. It's not tight and easy to walk around. The staff is very polite and attentive. The food we were served was very delicious and even durning a busy time, food came out at a good time.

    Salmon Eggs Benedict

Checked out a relatively new local place I noticed when driving by last week. Every table was full so locals are loving it! Service staff were phenomenal. Welcoming vibe. Expansive menu. We had a Southern Waffle and Salmon Eggs Benedict. Hollandaise was fresh and yummy and large portion of fried chicken on the waffle. Saw several orders of avocado toast delivered to other tables. Looking forward to next visit to try that popular item or an onelwt

Why haven't I tried here sooner?…read more Toasted oaks is located inside of the renaissance hotel located by 12 oaks mall parking lot. There is an entrance for just the restaurant which makes it easier to enter. There is also close parking next to it. I had no wait on a Friday evening, which I'm sure isn't common, but I was also there about1 hour 30 minute - 2 hours to closing so it could be why. I was still given great service and a wonderful cooked dish. I ordered a mocktail (virgin spring in wing) that had was supposed to have smashed strawberries. I barely tasted the strawberry (I did not have some in the drink) as the soda water overpowered everything thing else. I probably should have said something, but I didn't. If I order next time I will. There were many great things on the menu, but I opted for the bone in pork chop. While I waited I did ask if they had bread service and they have corn bread. First I was like "hmmmm idk". Once it came to the table I loved it. I usually don't butter my corn bread, but I tried their butter with it and I enjoyed the pairing. It was perfectly cooked well enough how pork should be, but still tender so it wasn't dry. It had this whiskey sweet fruity glaze over it which was delicious. I would have preferred it on the side, but that's just a personal preference. The green beans weren't soggy, they had a slight crisp to them. A great flavor. I opted out of the loaded baked potato and just got a plain with butter , sour cream and chives. Overall for what I ordered I didn't think the price to be too unreasonable. However, this place can get pricy with other things on the menu. Their menu might also change because I seen photos of this place and those items weren't on the menu. I would come here again for a dinner alone, with my spouse and even with friends.

We had started off with a mixed board charcuterie board which held an assortment of different cheeses, meats, breads, and veggies. This board was underwhelming; for $20, it felt poor quality-wise. The breads felt stale, and the vegetables were sad and tasted horrible. Putting aside the negative comments and the absolutely blazing campfire behind my seat, my service was amazing. We had Rayna Rose serve us, and she was so kind, friendly, and beautiful. She showed professionalism while providing a comforting tone and attitude to the total environment. While observing her with other tables, I saw that she not only treated everyone with the same kindness and respect but really put her best effort into her work and service. After around 30 minutes of waiting, our entrées came out. I ordered their signature Oak burger, and my sister ordered the sirloin entrée. My burger came out with soggy buns, stale fries that weren't crispy, and ketchup that was average. My sister's sirloin was bland, dry, and the balsamic glaze made the overall dish sour, and not in a good way. We were able to finish the soggy burger as a team, but the sirloin was unbearable. Overall, I give this place a 5/10.

I honestly do not know how the chef did it, but the chicken had this incredible crispiness and freshness, with a perfect crunch that still stayed juicy. The portion was extremely generous. The pasta was excellent and the sauce was exactly what you want with chicken parm. I could not even come close to finishing the whole plate. I heard a certain renowned Italian restaurant owner loves to come here for the parm! She says no one makes it quite like Ardiana's chef. The owner, Robert, brought out a carrot cake for us to try. He said it was all organic. It was fantastic. Moist, with a great caramel sauce and walnuts. At that point I was waving the white flag because it was just too much good food. Robert also mentioned they are opening a small bar soon, which will make this place even better for a casual dinner. I arrived early to sample their Happy Hour where I got a Tommy Margarita which was one of four cocktail choices on the Happy Hour menu where the other choices are an Old Fashion, Lemon Drop Martini and a Black Manhattan. All of which I personally am a fan of. Relative to my Margarita, it was very well made with 2 full ounces of Blanco Tequila as the base and quite tasty. Definately a drink with a kick and not a watered down version you get at most other bars in the area. At $8 it's a pretty good deal in my opinion especially for a drink of this quality. Relative to Dinner my wife got the White Fish dinner and I got the Milanese Chicken. Both dishes were excellent where they were cooked to perfection and were delicious. Prices on the menu were a tad high in my opinion but the old adage that you get what you pay for applies here and is definately worth the cost in my opinion. Appetizer was the Calamari which was well made and quite tasty in its own right. Relative to staff and facility, the facility is very classy with a nice contemporary flair to it, Definately an upscale feel to it where both the bar and the dining area offer an elevated dining/drinking experience. Staff was super friendly with great follow up where the bar can be a tad slower as only one bartender was working while I was there but he did a fairly good job of keeping up with the orders and high marks for his efficiency.
