Wow!!!! What an incredible experience! If you're in the Northville area, Lucy and The Wold is a must stop. We ordered the deviled eggs....I can't begin to explain the perfection to this dish. I know it sounds simplistic, deviled eggs, right! Trust me, the eggs served with prosciutto, sweet & spicy jam topped with arugula...amazing! We've lived in the Novi area for almost 3 years and this was our first time coming here. I'm really sad that we've not tried it before last night but we already have plans to come back again with friends. I was a little worried by the small menu that I was going to be able to find some thing I could eat. I have several significant food intolerances, but they were able to modify the items we ordered. The chicken was incredible! My husband makes an incredible grilled chicken with a white sauce, and I can't believe we found a chicken that taste better than that. It was a half of a chicken that was perfectly cooked, so juicy! We ordered three of the small plates - a mini meatloaf, grilled zucchini, and mushrooms. My husband was the first to take a bite of the grilled zucchini, and the look on his face made me drop my fork and reach over to grab a slice of zucchini. I don't even think I have the right words to explain how good that zucchini was! it had a mild smoky flavor to it and had a great tomato jam with almonds piled in the center. I absolutely adored the mushrooms but I think with us having to have the goat cheese off of the mushrooms it made them a little bit drier. I did talk to our server and asked if I could bring in my own non-dairy, non-soy cheese. She said that I would be more than welcome to bring some in and put it on once the mushrooms were at our table. My husband did get the goat cheese on the side and put some on his and he said that it made an incredible difference in the texture of the mushrooms. The mini meatloaf were good. Don't get me wrong. I would eat it again but I think I would really go for that chicken again. read more

Dropped by twice in the last two weeks for some post-dinner nightcaps and DONUTS! They have delicious homemade mini sugar donuts (only $6). Their only dessert, but a must try. Service was fantastic each time. French Press coffee is recommended (but slightly more expensive than wine!). read more

Fun restaurant for sharing! This is a tapas style restaurant with a recommended 2-3 dishes to share per person. The menu probably had ~15 items including large plates and desserts to choose from so a bit more limited. Food items are more American than Spanish tapas, with items like cornbread and NY strip. The cornbread with sweet honey butter was amazing. I also really liked the roast half chicken - it had hot honey seasoning, reminds me of a nashville hot chicken. Finished the meal with mini donuts, the donuts were nice and crispy, really tiny - super cute and so warm. Staff was really friendly! Cute little place in heart of downtown Northville. We went fairly early in the evening and had no trouble finding seating on a Saturday evening. This is mostly a tapas and cocktail sort of place, apparently many come just for the cocktails which I've heard were great. My friend enjoyed hers. I'm not a drinker so I can't say much about the drinks. For food we started with the burrata appetizer. I thought it was overpriced for what it was. Crackers with burrata that had balsamic and a little chili oil. Would have preferred bread with it but this is just my preference. For my small plate, I ordered shrimp etouffee. This dish I did enjoy very much. My friend got the roasted chicken and she thought it was too dry and overpriced for what it was. Overall service was good, atmosphere is cute but food was just ok. I wouldn't go out of my way to come back here and if I was in the area I would probably check out another place instead. But if a friend I wanted to come I would go again. This was a fun place to go bar hoping with the girls. It is a small, narrow space, but they have indoor and outdoor dining to chose from. The road is closed, so there are no cars to disturb your dining. It was pouring for us, so we stayed inside. The food menu consisted of small plates. It looked really good, they recommended getting a couple per person to share with the group. But we had already eaten and were just there for cocktails so I cannot speak to the taste or flavor of their food. I love that most of their cocktails are named after different popular movies, so fun themed and pop culture of them. I also like that they have a lemoncello cocktail, I love that flavor. I actually enjoyed the cheap Rolling Rock because college memories! I crave beers from the entire flavor spectrum, it was cold and refreshing for some summer fun. Great food, great cocktails, and great service! Went for a quick dinner on a Friday night and was very happy!

I enjoyed Lucy and the Wolf quite a bit more than I expected. The streetside seating was very refreshing especially with the trees for shade. Service was wonderful from both, our server and the expediter. The food was all very well executed and maybe colored outside the lines of tapas but with a Northville expectation of something outside the norm. The sangria was served with a citrus round grilled beyond recognition other than to say it was a citrus fruit in its previous life. I loved that. It was a gorgeous presentation. All the food was exquisite. The Patatas Bravas was maybe the winner for me, but the Red Shrimp, the spicy (goat) cheese spread, the Deviled Eggs and the Steak Tapa were all excellent. They do love their turmeric here but everything played well together. It's pricey but the flavors were all well pronounced and they pour a nice drink so it's worth the ducats. Had a reservation at 6pm for inside. Sat at a small table by the window and by the bar. Paper menus, masks are required except while seated. Staff all have masks on, except one of the cooks, one of the more critical people who should be wearing masks if you ask me. Downtown streets are closed for additional seating, social distancing is in place. Our waitress was nice enough and informative and answered all of our questions. Menu is limited, very much so, so few entrees that appealed to me, nothing from the pics online. No deviled eggs, no biscuits. We settled on the charcuterie with extra cheese, olives and veggies too. No straws due to the covid. Ok. Dill goat cheese, cheese curds, pecorino and manchego. The cheeses are good picks, the dill goat cheese is our favorite. The cherry, curds aren't my jam. The Marconi almonds are buttery and crunchy. The yellow pepper is mild and not too tart, subtle. Some honey and mustard would make this charcuterie stand out more. The toast points are intensely crunchy and have a nice smokey flavor to them. We were in and out in less than 40 minutes, not enough food options for us for an entree or full meal. This review was missed in July when we went, but here goes: We were seated at a 2-top half booth in a long bank of tables. Two more ladies were seated next to us and spoke so loudly we had issues hearing each other. Also, the menu ink was very light and the font/print is tiny, so bring readers. I used my phone to magnify. They do not offer lemonades or flavored teas so know there is limited non-alcoholic beverages. For our meal we shared the perch. The warm potato salad on the side was very flavorful. The perch was cooked beautifully and the mustard seed gave it amazing flavor. Pricey small plates but delicious. read more

Back pain, knee issues etc. The staff from entrance to exit could have been more friendly. Manager should have come to assist when we needed a table or booth inside and none was available. L and T W is beautiful and cozy. They have a great outdoor space as well. My first visit - several years ago- would be 5 stars but my most recent visit, a week ago was a bit lackluster - 3 stars seems too low but four seems to high. 3.5 seems just right. The service is great, the cocktails are interesting and creative but the food (which is the main attraction to me) was kind of forgettable. The cheese and cracker app was pretty tasty and the doughnuts are a must. The bruschetta was good but not great. The potato dish was meh, and the fried green tomatoes were not ripe enough and under seasoned. I don't know if I'd go here again because it's pretty pricey and I didn't love my meal. read more

I had a lunch meeting so opted to make a reservation on OpenTable just in case. When I got there, there knew my name and sat me down in a nice booth. I love the decor. Super cute restaurant. We had a lovely dining experience at Lucy & The Wolf! We had a reservation and were meeting friends, so we had a table immediately. The server came over to give us a brief description of the restaurant and their super old oven that dates back a long time! This is a tapas-style restaurant with plenty of options for vegetarians and even some options for vegans (or things can be made vegan). Our server suggested 2 tapas/person and then sharing with the table, so that's pretty much what we did (we ended up with 8 dishes at our table). We ordered: Roasted curry cauliflower salad Patatas Bravas (3 orders haha) My friends ordered a meat dish each I ordered their roasted tomato stew with egg Cheese and cracker sticks (beer cheer I think) Quino and bean tacos Mini biscuits with goat cheese and honey Everything was delicious! The patatas bravas were different than I've had in that they were roasted potatoes and not like french fries, and the flavor was amazing and smoky. The tomato stew was absolutely delicious and the biscuits were to DIE FOR. They were stuffed with goat cheese then came in a cast iron pan which was bubbling away from the honey reduction sauce. So delicious. The tacos were also super flavorful and vegetarian! I would highly recommend this place! It's located in cute downtown Northville so parking can be a bit of a trick, but we found street parking. There are some lots nearby. The service was friendly and since it was tapas, things came out as they were prepared. My kind of eating! read more

Lucy & The Wolf is a very cool small plates place right in the heart of Downtown Northville. Northville made an excellent decision to close off parts of Main and Center Street to increase outdoor dining capacity for restaurants. L&TW has been able to benefit from that. Their outdoor seating area is nice, and the atmosphere created due to the street closures has been amazing to the point where I think it should occur every summer at least on the weekends. I visited back in late June, not long after restaurants started to open up for a first date with a very lovely lady. Restaurants still seemed to be figuring out how to best handle operating under covid conditions. Regardless, L&TW did a great job. Their menu selection was great. We ordered 3 plates: patatas bravas, gambas al ajillo, and the pork tacos. All were excellent. I really enjoyed my experience and can definitely call it my current favorite upscale casual place in Northville. read more

Wow! This place was one that I would go again and again! Our server was excellent (sorry I didn't write down your name) and we sampled almost everything on the menu. We tried , 5 Year Cheddar Pub Cheese, Fall Squash Bruschetta, Grilled Carrots, Roasted Cauliflower Salad, BBQ Pork Skillet, Pork Meatballs, Pork Tacos, Fish Tacos, and Mini Donuts. I can say we loved everything - I would say that people could not stop raving about the Roasted Cauliflower Salad, Pork Skillet and the Tacos. This is a great place to visit as they have a casual atmosphere and it is great for groups. I cannot say enough about the food - it was memorable (and I travel for work eating out a lot) and it is on my list of "must come back" places. read more

I met a friend here for dinner and we had thought we would've need reservations based on strictly the fact that they state you can make reservations through open table on their website. We didn't tonight though it might have been because it is cinco de mayo or that it was a nice day and other restaurants have you the ability to eat outside. Our waitress varied in how attentive she was. Sometimes our water was full and stayed full and other times they were empty. We split the potatoes Brava and it was good but not great. However, we were comparing it to the potatoes brava that we had at local Spanish tapas restaurant. I then had the grilled polish sausage, cabbage and onions. It was quite tasty. I also got the weekend special of mushrooms with a blue cheese sauce. The weekend special was so amazing. It was the best thing I ate here. The sausage was the next thing I had. I love a great dining experience. I love unique flavors. I'm a big fan of great table service. Lucy & The Wolf offers these three. Their downtown Northville location was easy to find and park for. I was seated at a cute little hightop in the window. I don't think we had drinks but the shareables we chose were delicious! The menu changes often because it is a delightful farm-to-fork type and so I don't recall specifically what we ordered. (So sorry!) However I'll say this L&W chef has excellent skill in pairing flavors. For example we did have the Strawberry Basil pudding for dessert and it was amazing! Who even thinks of ordering pudding at a restaurant but this! Sublime! I think we also had a mushroom dish with goat cheese. Oy! Unbelievable flavor. You need to go, be courageous. Try something new. I am actually in shock by how terrible the food was for the price. To start, our waitress was so kind and attentive. Food we ordered: - Spring vegetable salad: $13 for handful of spinach and two crumbles of cheese. Barely any flavor to dressing. - Fire Roasted Dorade: $25 small filet of "dorade" aka tilapia with several bones and minimal flavor - Mini Mexican Meatloaf: $12; not horrible tasting but also not worth ordering again - Roasted Mushrooms: $15 of car tire tasting food. The mushrooms were an awful texture and the "lime crema" was simply sour cream squeezed from a Daisy tube. We had to send this back it was actually putrid. - specially cocktail with vodka, limoncello, soda, and simple syrup - pretty sure there was 0 alcohol in it and the rest was lemonade with tons of soda water. All of them were really enjoyable and was a good opportunity to try out new dishes for $5.00 rather than the regular menu price. Loved the donuts, but the apple skillet was a surprise because they had a charcoal flavor added in deliberately. It tasted burnt, but it is intentional according to the waitress. Wish we knew that, we probably would have made a different selection. Overall a cute place and a good option to meet up with a friend or a quiet night out. read more
