Visited on a Saturday night knowing they were closing within the hour. The staff was so kind; they didn't treat us like we were too late and welcomed us in. The drinks were delicious, and the atmosphere felt like a vacation spot. First time here and can't wait to return to try the food.

New pizza added to the menu is amazing and great decision on behalf of the chef's. Servers are extremely nice and attentive. I got the honey badger pizza with a coca cola which was amazing and well worth the money spent!

Mushrooms, minus the goat cheese

We've lived in the Novi area for almost 3 years and this was our first time coming here. I'm really sad that we've not tried it before last night but we already have plans to come back again with friends. I was a little worried by the small menu that I was going to be able to find some thing I could eat. I have several significant food intolerances, but they were able to modify the items we ordered. The chicken was incredible! My husband makes an incredible grilled chicken with a white sauce, and I can't believe we found a chicken that taste better than that. It was a half of a chicken that was perfectly cooked, so juicy! We ordered three of the small plates - a mini meatloaf, grilled zucchini, and mushrooms. My husband was the first to take a bite of the grilled zucchini, and the look on his face made me drop my fork and reach over to grab a slice of zucchini. I don't even think I have the right words to explain how good that zucchini was! it had a mild smoky flavor to it and had a great tomato jam with almonds piled in the center. I absolutely adored the mushrooms but I think with us having to have the goat cheese off of the mushrooms it made them a little bit drier. I did talk to our server and asked if I could bring in my own non-dairy, non-soy cheese. She said that I would be more than welcome to bring some in and put it on once the mushrooms were at our table. My husband did get the goat cheese on the side and put some on his and he said that it made an incredible difference in the texture of the mushrooms. The mini meatloaf were good. Don't get me wrong. I would eat it again but I think I would really go for that chicken again.

Fun restaurant for sharing! This is a tapas style restaurant with a recommended 2-3 dishes to share per person. The menu probably had ~15 items including large plates and desserts to choose from so a bit more limited. Food items are more American than Spanish tapas, with items like cornbread and NY strip. The cornbread with sweet honey butter was amazing. I also really liked the roast half chicken - it had hot honey seasoning, reminds me of a nashville hot chicken. Finished the meal with mini donuts, the donuts were nice and crispy, really tiny - super cute and so warm. Staff was really friendly! Had a good time here but would love to see more big plates selections! Follow me on Instagram for more food content: alice.likes.food

Shrimp ettouffee

Cute little place in heart of downtown Northville. We went fairly early in the evening and had no trouble finding seating on a Saturday evening. This is mostly a tapas and cocktail sort of place, apparently many come just for the cocktails which I've heard were great. My friend enjoyed hers. I'm not a drinker so I can't say much about the drinks. For food we started with the burrata appetizer. I thought it was overpriced for what it was. Crackers with burrata that had balsamic and a little chili oil. Would have preferred bread with it but this is just my preference. For my small plate, I ordered shrimp etouffee. This dish I did enjoy very much. My friend got the roasted chicken and she thought it was too dry and overpriced for what it was. Overall service was good, atmosphere is cute but food was just ok. I wouldn't go out of my way to come back here and if I was in the area I would probably check out another place instead. But if a friend I wanted to come I would go again. I am curious about their other seasonal menus.

Great little place! Knowledgeable bartender delicious little tapas. We ordered charcuterie board, deviled eggs had a nice kick to it not your usual deviled eggs highly recommend, also we ordered a meatloaf and shrimp in a zesty lemon sauce. For the two of us was plenty of food. Great beer selection on tap as well. Absolutely will be back to try more things.

This was a fun place to go bar hoping with the girls. It is a small, narrow space, but they have indoor and outdoor dining to chose from. The road is closed, so there are no cars to disturb your dining. It was pouring for us, so we stayed inside. The food menu consisted of small plates. It looked really good, they recommended getting a couple per person to share with the group. But we had already eaten and were just there for cocktails so I cannot speak to the taste or flavor of their food. I love that most of their cocktails are named after different popular movies, so fun themed and pop culture of them. I also like that they have a lemoncello cocktail, I love that flavor. I actually enjoyed the cheap Rolling Rock because college memories! I crave beers from the entire flavor spectrum, it was cold and refreshing for some summer fun. We hope to come back soon for another girl's night.

The whipped goat cheese spread... pretty phenomenol.

I enjoyed Lucy and the Wolf quite a bit more than I expected. The streetside seating was very refreshing especially with the trees for shade. Service was wonderful from both, our server and the expediter. The food was all very well executed and maybe colored outside the lines of tapas but with a Northville expectation of something outside the norm. The sangria was served with a citrus round grilled beyond recognition other than to say it was a citrus fruit in its previous life. I loved that. It was a gorgeous presentation. All the food was exquisite. The Patatas Bravas was maybe the winner for me, but the Red Shrimp, the spicy (goat) cheese spread, the Deviled Eggs and the Steak Tapa were all excellent. They do love their turmeric here but everything played well together. It's pricey but the flavors were all well pronounced and they pour a nice drink so it's worth the ducats. Well worth finding parking and walking over... well done L&tW.

Nobody was rushing the tables to leave which is a testament to how they booked their reservations. Our meals and adult beverages were all two thumbs up! My dad took a sip of his raspberry twist and said, "wow, that is strong. I'm glad I'm not driving." My mom took a sip of his drink and said, "oooh that's good! If you think that's strong you should try my drink!" Her drink was the Black Forest and it was definitely the kind of drink one sips! My Christmas cookie martini went down real easy! The food was great -mushroom soup, Caesar salad, two turkey dinners (one with some modifications), buffalo balls and a side of mashed potatoes. And of course, we had to get a plate of warm chocolate chip cookies! The place was lightly decorated for the holiday - tastefully done! Today, they nailed everything! It provides a great atmosphere for a relaxed and enjoyable dining experience! The service is consistently friendly and efficient, they have a lot of nice people here. Even though the menu is a bit meat-centric, there is always plenty that I enjoy. For the meat lovers, you cannot go wrong with the filet and the ribeye! I have enjoyed the appetizers, the salads including their rendition of the famous Maurice! It's very good and plentiful! I often come for the Wednesday and Friday fish and chips specials! The turkey Reuben is always enjoyable. On this visit, they have changed the menu. For the turkey Reuben, they are now using a homemade onion bun. Very nice bun, but not quite right for a true Reuben that calls for a crispy rye bread. It might help if they buttered and toasted the onion bun. But, still not a complete hit. They have also removed some well-loved chicken dishes and moved them to the specials. Another item they have taken off the menu is their hearty club sandwich, that one will be missed as well. I always have hoped they bring back the pulled chicken BBQ sandwich, one of the best! No shade of course, there is still lots to choose from. Great drinks, upbeat atmosphere and always a favorite!

We poked around quaint downtown Northville, until I got a text that our table was ready. We had a seasoned waitress that worked efficiently in a very crowded restaurant. We had a booth across from the bar and it was very loud. But we adjusted to it, and enjoyed the lively atmosphere. We order the whitefish entree and a cheeseburger, both were okay, neither were particularly warm. Again, it was busy. But I would try different things next time. The star of the show was the appetizer she recommended - goat cheese in a warm creamy marinara sauce, served with garlic bread. Amazing! I will be back, if only for that!

So, we like to meet in places like Northville for lunch and hang out for a while and catch up. We chose this place because it's in a cute part of town, and near another local store that my friend wanted to show me after eating. We were the first people in the restaurant when it opened, and the downtown area was already somewhat busy for a Saturday morning. There's free parking behind the restaurant and it's a quick jaunt to the store if you cut through the building or walk around like I did. The menu has some good food and I was torn between the burger and the Mediterranean wrap. I buckled and went with the burger since some habits are hard to break. My friend got the Bavarian pretzel and it was HUGE with lots of cheese sauce for dipping. My burger was actually pretty good and prices here are spot on. Our waitress was nice and we enjoyed her, but near the end she was nowhere to be found. When my friend stepped away to the ladies room I had to flag her down to get our bills. It's not the end of the world, but it wasn't exactly busy enough for her to not stop by once or twice more to check on us. My bill was about $19.00 which seemed higher than the menu price, but still a fair deal. I think my friends bill was $13 or something close to that. Overall a good space to sit and hang out and enjoy yourself without too much disruption. I was torn between 3 and 4 stars but rounded up because it really is a cute spot that can be good for meeting with friends, a casual date or taking your parents here for a meal. Plus, you can enjoy downtown Northville which is very cute!

Inside, it's really welcoming. Clean, comfortable tables and chairs, and it looks like they recently refreshed the place with updated walls, art, and lighting. Nothing fancy, just done right. We started by sharing a Greek salad and it was very fresh, with an excellent dressing. I ordered the chicken parmigiana and it was out of this world. I honestly do not know how the chef did it, but the chicken had this incredible crispiness and freshness, with a perfect crunch that still stayed juicy. The portion was extremely generous. The pasta was excellent and the sauce was exactly what you want with chicken parm. I could not even come close to finishing the whole plate. I heard a certain renowned Italian restaurant owner loves to come here for the parm! She says no one makes it quite like Ardiana's chef. The owner, Robert, brought out a carrot cake for us to try. He said it was all organic. It was fantastic. Moist, with a great caramel sauce and walnuts. At that point I was waving the white flag because it was just too much good food. Robert also mentioned they are opening a small bar soon, which will make this place even better for a casual dinner. There was no question, I would see my friend. We had selected Chicane earlier, eager to try the new restaurant in a familiar setting, by the train tracks on Starkweather. This location was formerly Station 885, a restaurant my friend and I visited years earlier, when a toy train ran along tracks around the perimeter, delighting her young daughter. We arrived early, scoring a great table with a view of the large bar, lounge, and stage. The restaurant is glamorous, with gorgeous lighting and attractive furnishings. Musicians entertained the eager and appreciative audience. There are so few places that provide this level of entertainment and hospitality. I had already previewed the menu and was anticipating the meal ahead. The duck sounded amazing and is almost always my first choice. However, the short ribs were tempting, as were the scallops in a coconut curry broth. I went with my first instinct, the duck, paired with a French Onion soup. The medium-rare duck breast was perfectly prepared; I liked the sweet potato puree and slaw accompaniments. Incidentally, the portion was huge. My friend enjoyed her braised short rib, which was on the 2-course supper menu, available before 6pm. For dessert, I went with the chocolate cube. Unfortunately, I didn't even see the banana parfait, which was mentioned in several of the reviews here. Oh, well, I was content. The dessert had a bold, intense chocolate flavor, which paired well with the ice cream's more subtle flavors. I also appreciated the different textures on the plate. Service was fantastic: professional and helpful. Unfortunately, my car died during the cold, and TripleA was unable to help, given the number of people/vehicles in a similar situation. The restaurant staff went above and beyond to find someone (the Executive Chef, who was in the middle of service) to provide a jump; I am so grateful for the gracious hospitality.
