We had a beautiful evening out in Northville and decided to give Table 5 a try. If you've been to the area, there are quite a few neat restaurants in town. A friend of mine recently moved to the area and wanted to check out the food scene. Table 5 is an upscale restaurant featuring a unique flavor twist to the traditional menu. Everything sounded delicious but we decided on the calamari with a butter beurre blanc sauce, the trout and halibut entrees, and a salad with fried goat cheese. Wow!!!! The flavors were popping! My halibut was served atop a polenta, tomato purée. It was divine!! We ordered a few rounds of cocktails which were great! Our server did an exceptional job! We will most certainly be back!

We had a birthday celebration here the other night and Liz our server helped make it truly a night to remember! This upscale restaurant always is a pleasure to visit. We enjoyed our spacious window seats and the food was fabulous! I won't be forgetting there trout! Excellent and the seasonal butters for their delicious bread are always a treat!

We only came for drinks and service was super slow, it wasn't even busy but for some reason everything took forever. The drinks were only so-so. The ambiance is nice with the exposed brick and I love to support local businesses but this was a bit lacking. We were considering taking some friends to dinner here but they didn't impress us. I would consider trying dinner some time later, but for now there's no hurry.

Best filet, service and drinks I've had in a long time! You won't be disappointed. Coming from a local foodie!

The herb crusted halibut is not to be missed! Delicious halibut served with sweet corn risotto, corn salsa & a port reduction. It's absolutely decadent. We also enjoyed the salmon with pickled beech mushrooms, the grilled NY strip with black pepper cream & stoney creek mushrooms, the fried green tomatoes & wedge salad. Cocktails were a bit of a challenge during our visit so I stuck with wine. I assume it was just an off night. Cozy atmosphere. Make reservations.

Met a friend here on a Wednesday evening for dinner. Sat outside as the weather was glorious. Our server was fast and was able to get a mocktail creation for my friend that she enjoyed. We ordered two starters to share and it ended up being a fairly bread heavy meal. We had Black Mission Figs with the bacon molasses separate for me as my friend is vegetarian. I wanted to eat that with a spoon all on it's own! Thick, sweet and salty deliciousness. We both thought the Camembert mousse was a bit strong. The Welcer Farms Caprese was perfection because it's tomato season and all the elements worked amazingly well together. But both of our favorite bites were the Chocolate Pot de Creme. It was not too sweet, not too small, but not too much, either. Excellent end to our meal.

We had a great Valentine's Day dinner here! Yes it's Valentine's Day and the menu doesn't really reflect their normal fare, but overall, we really enjoyed our experience. Our server was friendly and helpful as we went through the menu and was happy to talk over our choices. The food was exactly what we hoped it would be. The steak was wonderfully tender and tasty, and the scallops melted in my mouth. This kind of food is really about the quality of the taste rather than the quantity, and it really delivered! I was a happy camper. This restaurant offers a fancier fair than where we would usually go, but it's a great place to go for a special occasion. I'd love to come here again sometime in the future.

Fries were scratch made with a uniques shape that had visual grooves that I had not seen at any other restaurant. Aside from the unique shape they were nice and crispy and quite tasty in their own right. Cleary a superior burger and fries versus other restaurants that are in the area. Aside from the food I had their Old School Margarita and their Deadwood Old Fashioned. The Margarita was just OK in my opinion. Basis of the drink was 1800 tequila which I am not a fan of and Cointreau. Seemed to lack the Agave Forward notes I look for and lime component was not as bright as I like it either. However, the Deadwood Old Fashioned with the Woodford Reserve Bourbon was outstanding and definately one of the better made ones in the area. The restaurant itself has a nice ambiance about it with rustic western vibe which I really like. There is also a large outdoor dining area to take advantage of the nicer days which is something to consider if that is what you are looking for. Relative to staff, they are so friendly and outgoing with excellent follow up throughout the meal and clearly a strength of this business. Overall a great dining option in the Northville area and worth checking out if you are in the area.

We stood there for 4 to 6 minutes before someone even spoke to us and said a table should open up any minute now. 2 ladies at a table were getting up and pointed at us and the table they were getting up at, the insisted we grab it before the table was grabbed (I guess that's how they run things there idk) So when the waitress walked by I explained to her what happened and she only smiled at me (ok) I'm not sure what that means. We waited about 10 to 15 minutes for the table to get wiped down afterwards. Then just sat there still waiting for menus. After the waitress finally gave up the menus we got to ordered. The waitress was taking drinks order's for every table all at once while was in all putting her behind. I use to be a waitress for 15 years I know a thing or 2 I have patience and emphasis with them as they were busy. But this waitress needs a better strategy on how she handles her tables and she might get better and tables won't sit and wait long times for ordering and etc. When we were ready for the bill and a box she brought me the box but no bill.i had to wait 15 minutes for a bill that the other waitress grabbed for us. All and all I will not be back , the food wasn't so good either. The personal pizza seemed like a frozen dough with toppings they just threw on. I did like the steak frys though. Really bad experience here and felt very u welcomed the whole time. I had no wait on a Friday evening, which I'm sure isn't common, but I was also there about1 hour 30 minute - 2 hours to closing so it could be why. I was still given great service and a wonderful cooked dish. I ordered a mocktail (virgin spring in wing) that had was supposed to have smashed strawberries. I barely tasted the strawberry (I did not have some in the drink) as the soda water overpowered everything thing else. I probably should have said something, but I didn't. If I order next time I will. There were many great things on the menu, but I opted for the bone in pork chop. While I waited I did ask if they had bread service and they have corn bread. First I was like "hmmmm idk". Once it came to the table I loved it. I usually don't butter my corn bread, but I tried their butter with it and I enjoyed the pairing. It was perfectly cooked well enough how pork should be, but still tender so it wasn't dry. It had this whiskey sweet fruity glaze over it which was delicious. I would have preferred it on the side, but that's just a personal preference. The green beans weren't soggy, they had a slight crisp to them. A great flavor. I opted out of the loaded baked potato and just got a plain with butter , sour cream and chives. Overall for what I ordered I didn't think the price to be too unreasonable. However, this place can get pricy with other things on the menu. Their menu might also change because I seen photos of this place and those items weren't on the menu. I would come here again for a dinner alone, with my spouse and even with friends.
