Overdue for an update! Recently I've enjoyed a few different experiences here and all of them have…read morebeen solid. The first was delivery and it arrived perfectly prepared and exactly as ordered. I went with the seafood pasta and my family split an order or arancini. Everything was excellent. A few weeks later I came back through for dinner with some friends and we landed on the heated patio. It was cozy and comfortable. We split the bruschetta with prosciutto, goat cheese, and fig spread. Very good! For my entree I went with the asiago baci, little purses of an asiago and ricotta stuffed pasta tossed in a garlic cream sauce with tomatoes and asparagus. So so good! And a nice sized portion as well. For dessert we split a slice of the lemon torte. Light and delicious. The perfect end to the meal. I was there catching up with friends and we definitely moved a little slower ordering (too busy talking!) and our server was really kind and patient with us. A great experience all around.

The meatballs in the spaghetti dish were delicious. Flavorful and not dried out. The sauce tasted like it had been cooked with love. I also liked the short rib. The sauce had been elevated with some wine, and the meat was tender and rich. The accompanying potatoes were so creamy. I would order both dishes again. We each got a dessert. My husband got the tiramisu and I got the chocolate cake. I guess the tiramisu was just ok. I loved the chocolate cake. On our second visit, we tried the Rigatoni Caprino and the Chicken Marsala Florentine. Of the two, we liked the rigatoni better. It had that super red sauce on it. The sausage was on point, and the goat cheese complimented the rest of the dish so well. The marsala was good, though my husband I agreed we had both had better. The sauce just lacked something. My husband wasn't that impressed with the Crème Brûlée cheesecake, and wouldn't order it again.

The new'ish server was rude and messy. She had our food on her sleeve, tried to pour our wine in regular glasses and even though the place was almost empty, she was nowhere to be found when we needed her. We'll wait a few months before trying again. I don't want to give up since they've been on the top since they opened but something is going on and it's not a good change.

Cute restaurant with rustic Italian decor. Found myself here for dinner and immediately noticed…read morethat they bake their own panettone and were cooling/wrapping them up in one corner of the restaurant. To start, five of us shared the arugula salad which was simple and fresh, but oddly came without dressing (which we asked for upon realizing it was dry). We also got the garlic bread. I would recommend skipping the garlic bread all together because its not very different from the complimentary bread. For mains, two of us had the chicken parm, two of us had the cannelloni di carne, and one had the gnocchi. We also shared two bottles of wine which seemed fairly priced. Overall, the food was ok but certainly pricy for what we received. The service was polite but inexperienced and inattentive. There were some mistakes with our food but nothing major and they were able to rectify. We also got a panettone to go ($25 for the medium) - yum!

Pros- food is delicious, pizza, pasta, salads...their ranch is our fav and the bread basket, yum!!…read moreOur waiter Zack was great, accommodating, kind, and on top of things. Parking is easy and the restaurant appears clean. One negative comment- so we made a reservation for 15, and we had one extra child, bringing us to 16. The host (older lady with shoulder length reddish brown hair), made it exceptionally clear she was annoyed and continued to quote their policy of "banquet menu" once our party got to 16. I understand, it was an accident, and tbh didn't require us to be moved, just an extra chair. It put a sour taste in my mouth, as I was guest of honor visiting from out of town; you made us feel unwelcome the moment we walked in. As a host, you shouldn't be the one representing the restaurant. If you're upset, go home. Mind you, this is a Tuesday evening at dinner time (the restaurant wasn't busy and there was NO wait). Kudos to the wait staff and chefs, all our food came out at once, no send backs- I know for large parties it can get crazy, you all did amazing. I hope management can use this as a teaching opportunity to the host, as I'll be sure NOT to return to this location the next time I'm in town due to this experience at your establishment.

Let me begin with the fact I am a big fan of the Dearborn Heights location. Never a bad meal in…read moreover thirty years of patronage. The Canton location looks beautiful inside and out. I decided to give it a try. I regret that. They were well-staffed and it was an hour and a half before closing, That seemed enough time to not endure the rush to close activities so prevalent in restaurants, Nope. By 8:15PM, I felt patrons were being conveyed we're kinda in the way, not the actual purpose of their work as well as the lion's share of their paycheck. I was stunned at how much my prefered dish, Chicken Antonio--which was never cheap, has increased in price over the years but worse was the execution. The salad was good and the bread as always, excellent. The main course? Not so much. I know I should have sent it back, but I didn't. I really hate doing that for fear of angering the guy cooking my food. I've seen Waiting... Soon as I took a bite, I knew something was off. It seemed oil-soaked. Now I know the breaded chicken filet is sautéed but this was greasy. It was greasy to the point by the time I ate less than a third my stomach was queasy. My teenaged server asked if my meal was okay. I told him "not really" which seemed to stun him and leave him without a response. He came back a few minutes later to ask if he could do anything. What could he do? Well, maybe call a manager or send out the cook--but I wasn't going to ask. He seemed new and nervous so I wasn't about to be a Karen. Maybe these servers should be instructed to send a manager when they're told something is disappointing? Come to think of it; I often have experiences a manager stopping by to ask if my meal was satisfactory. In my previous Antonio's experiences, that was kinda common--and part of the charm. I really felt they cared. I ended up--for the first time ever, taking home 75% of my meal hoping reheating in my oven will help. We'll see tomorrow when my stomach is up to it. The closing routine after 8:30 was certainly distracting and not at all what one would expect from a fine restaurant charging a premium such as here. The smell of Windex used to clean the doors was just overwhelming and I felt like we remaining patrons were getting the bum's rush. In closing, I was also disappointed they don't offer a Veteran's discount which is more and more a standard thing today. Even Cracker Barrel has started. I hope they change that policy. I'm sure I'll continue to go to the Dearborn Heights location, but this experience gives me pause at the Canton location.

The food was GREAT! Our group of four dined on everything from salmon to ribs, to seafood pasta and lasagna with a side of Italian sausage. We started with stuffed mushrooms, which were just amazing and complimented by a fresh loaf of delightful bread. I enjoyed a draft beer as we trued soups and salads. My lasagna was simply wonderful, as was the sausage. I got to try the salmon and baby back ribs later, as none of us could finish the generous portions. Even the simplest fare was extraordinary! We ended with desserts that included spumoni and key-lime pie. Delicious! The pricing was more than fair and the service was top notch. Rose's is perfect for a date night, whether you want multiple courses or just to sit at their bar and enjoy Canton's best chicken fingers. Check it out. You can thank me later!

Slathered that thing with buh-tah. SO GOOD. This is old school Italian and authentic, apparently. I am not sure if I was just hungry and chowed down the food so fast or was it just delicious. I think both. OK, now the ranch dressing is allegedly famous with the locals. It is housemade. Good too. Lovely service. Loo was clean and stocked. Lot parking. Overall, I would definitely come back because they did impress me, so far. The true test is if they are this good on a Sun night about 8pm.
