Inside smells like cleaning products or fabric softeners. Saw a line out the door, but upon a closer observation it's a bunch of folks standing out front eating their ice creams on their small patio area. Tried their butter pecan, two way chocolate and the Irish mint (aka Guernsey's McGuire's Irish Mint). My husband got a small cup hard scoop of the Irish Mint and I got a small cup of the two way. $9.01. This was after much deliberation about putting it into a sandwich or sundae or amping it up. Went with simple and basic, it's a safe bet.

JJ's Custard is a frozen dessert shop that has migrated west from its roots in Dearborn to this suite in the middle of Canton Township on Cherry Hill Rd. While parking was plentiful, the amount of on-site seating was limited to two countertops on the inside and a few small tables on the sidewalk outside. The menu was packed with a very diverse set of offerings that included a dozen hard scoop varieties from the locally famous Guernsey Farm Dairy. SIx custard flavors and three kinds of Dole Whip were also available. Ice cream sandwiches were sold with donuts, waffles, or cookies as a base. Shakes, flurries, slushies, and coolers could be made if you wanted to drink a frozen concoction through a straw. Frozen custards and hard scoops were offered in a cup or cone (sugar, traditional, waffle). Sundaes, specialties, and even coffee rounded out the main choices. There were at least a half dozen workers staffing the machines and freezers behind the counter on the hot summer evening when I visited with a high school friend and his family. I picked a cup with Black Cherry and Lemon Custard as the two hard scoop flavors. The first consisted of fresh sweet black cherries in a smooth cherry ice cream. In a state where cherries are a key product, Guernsey did the flavor justice with the double use of this pitted fruit. The second was a smooth creamy blend of exactly what was described... lemon custard. The serving size was generous with two large scoops. If this shop was larger with more space to sit and hang out, then I likely would have given a top rating for JJ's Custard.

We finally get Custard co in Canton. Can we get a HOLLA?!?! When I tell you that I dream of this place, I'm not being dramatic. They have the world thickest and creamiest custard. Every time I come here it is always consistent. And when I tell you, it is the best custard.... It is truly the best custard. One thing I absolutely love about them They have really fun flavors that change weekly. The one in my picture was half vanilla half and half blue moon. I mean, are you kidding me? That's amazing!! The other day I came here and I got the coffee cookie butter custard. Where are you going to find flavors like this?! They're never that busy, which I don't understand why because they are fire and their prices are legit. 10/10 my favorite ice cream place in all of Metro Detroit.

After a morning of kayaking, hubby and I decided we deserved a treat. I had heard about the Custard Company so we decided to try it. This location is located in a strip with other businesses on Cherry Hill Road in Canton (near Sheldon). The parking lot is large so parking is simple. The inside of the store is very clean and simple. There are a couple small tables and a bar area for sitting and 4 small tables outside. During our visit there were two young girls working. They were busy filling orders for others, but when they noticed us one said we'll be right with you. We had a difficult time making a decision because of the many options. They serve multiple flavors of frozen custard along with Guernsey Farms hard served ice cream. They also have sundaes, shakes, speciality cones, and more! Dave and I both decided to go with the twist custard - mine on a sugar cone and his on a regular. The price of almost $9 was a little steep for two cones. But we both really enjoyed the smoothness and creaminess of the custard. It's good to have a new sweet treat place in the area and I hope they do well!

I didn't even realize we had this around the corner from our house. I swear there is no shortage of ice cream/frozen custard places in the Canton area and this is a nice addition. I got a loaded cone which was the custard that had a filling in the center (for me that was the Ferrero Rocher). I rarely finish any frozen desserts I purchase and this was no exception. So rich and creamy I enjoyed every bite until I hit a wall. Very good customer service and the variety will blow your mind.

Highlights It's so nice inside, love the colors they chosen for it. Love the balloons outside for the first week open for business. The menus are easy to read. Love the ice cream cone chairs it's a very nice added touch along with the neon signs on the walls. The taste I ordered soft serve twist in waffle cone dipped in birthday cake. It was delicious! My husband got a twist in a bun, I think it was called. The buns were more like a donut which was very good and melted in your mouth. The right amount of sweetness. They also offer ice cream pies which I hope to get next time I go there. Service The young lady behind the counter didn't look so happy to work there. We visited after 6 on this past Monday. I hope she ended up with a better evening! If I didn't have my husband there with me I would have given her a bigger tip to get her to smile! Anyhow, we will be back to try out many different ice cream delights! I love how close this is to our house! I took many pictures!

They have a really wide selection of ice cream and desserts. We tried the viral Dubai chocolate ice cream. It was $12 and it was alright. The girls who served us were really nice and this place is cute. Has limited seating and can get busy later in the night.

Both options we got were super good. We typically come here as they always have something unique and worth any wait they ever have!

Stopped for dessert after dinner and this was exactly what we were craving! Such a cute little shop, it was small but there are a few tables to sit down at to eat. The girls working there were super sweet and gave us suggestions since it was our first time there. So many unique options to choose from! I went with the sweet bun- which was a glazed donut sandwich with your choice of soft or hard served custard in the middle. You also can get toppings, but I did not want any. The Cookie Monster would have been my second choice.

Peach Cobbler Factory has been in business for about a year now in this western suburban Detroit strip mall where parking is never an issue. The inside of the suite was bright and spacious, however there were no seats or tables. Maybe they used to have some stools and high-tops in the past? A faux green wall was on the right, but it seemed out of sorts when nearly all places with such a social media friendly feature also have seating. There were over a dozen cobbler flavors, and each order included ice cream. The surprise was the variety of other desserts that were available. Cinnamon rolls, cookies, banana pudding, pudding shakes, brownies, Belgian waffles, and churro stix were offered. Some of these items were on display in plastic cases at the service counter. By using such a specific business name, it undersold the diversity of sweet treats that you could purchase here. A Mango Peach Cobbler was what I decided to buy. Because everything was packaged to go, the cobbler was served in one takeout container while the cinnamon vanilla ice cream was scooped into its own styrofoam cup. A cobbler is a fruit filling poured into a large baking dish that is covered with a batter/crust before being baked in an oven. It's essentially like a deep dish pie. I didn't detect much mango flavor, but the peaches were very sweet. I wished the cobbler portion size was larger for the $9 price. The ice cream was a nice touch if you wanted to eat the cobbler a la mode.

It didn't become a big melted mess, so it was nice that they're kept separate. Unfortunately, though, the ice cream itself wasn't great. My husband didn't mind it, and we both enjoyed the cinnamon in it, but to me it was watery and just not something I'd eat again. The cinnamon roll was really bad. It was extremely dry and lacked flavor. The only thing that made me take more bites was the Nutella on top. The employee who took our order was kind, and the store was clean and bright. But I would not come back here.

Food: I tried two things; Cookie butter bubble tea and the pandan waffle. I love anything cookie butter so this bubble tea hit the spot exactly how I needed it to! It's probably the best thing that tastes exactly like the actual butter/biscoff cookies in a different form. I love it so much I'm planning on using it as a reward as I accomplish my 2023 goals! It is extremely sweet, so I suggest telling the cashier to make it less sweet. The pandan waffle was also delicious, it is a regular waffle but they use food coloring to make it look wacky. It is sweeter like cake but still crispy on the outside. They have a large variety of tea and toppings options so I'm sure you'll be able to find what wets your whistle. Service: Service was great. Since it was my first time at this cafe, the cashier was very forthcoming with information. She was the one to suggest that I make my bubble tea less sweet. Ambiance: The cafe is pretty small on the inside. It has some seating but isn't a place to hang out and have a drink, so just grab what you need and leave. It is cutesy like most places that serve these types of drinks. The menu can be overwhelming since there are many options but as previously mentioned, customer service was great at info with the drinks. Overall great place and I can't wait to visit again. Happy sipping!

On the menu, there are chè, coconut and avocado drinks, smoothies, coffees, boba tea, and yonami, fruit and yogurt beverages. Snacks like waffles and macarons are also available. I'm boring and went with my usual, black tea with milk and boba. At first, I was surprised by how warm the drink was, but it cooled down considerably from the restaurant to the car. I loved that so much boba was included with the drink, AND that they were so tender and chewable. I thought the drink was a bit sweeter than I would have liked, and I will remember to ask for half the sugar the next time. Service was quick and friendly. The restaurant was cute with enough space to relax and enjoy our drinks with friends.

Some of the best hot chocolates I've ever had are from chocolate shops (makes sense) so I had high hopes. The price was quite reasonable I think for a premium hot chocolate, $4.99 for a dark hot chocolate with Mayan spice (cinnamon, cayenne, etc.) added. There was an option to add whipped cream and marshmallows but I opted out. The cocoa was excellent - delightfully chocolatey and definitely spicy - it definitely had a kick. I would order again in a heartbeat - maybe it's a good thing for my body that I don't live that close to Plymouth. They also have a nice array of chocolates, very similar to classic chocolate shops. I bought a couple of dark chocolate covered cherries and dark chocolate honeycomb chips for my mother and she loved them and she can normally be very picky about these type of chocolates. She said they were very fresh and the cherry flavor of the chocolate covered cherries was excellent. These were probably her favorite chocolates she's had in the last ten years or so. Alpine Chocolate Haus was definitely a winner and we'll be back whenever we're in Plymouth.

If you are looking to a quiet place to gab with your gal pals, this is the place! There was only ONE food item I tried that was worth consuming, except you can't really take it with you - the hot fudge on the ice cream! Please sell this in jars, the taste rivals Sanders! But, everything else I tried? Barely edible. Sampled 4 ice cream flavors , just because I was trying to find one that was palatable, settled on vanilla because I felt bad sampling more flavors...the ice cream is very poor quality. Being a Michigan company, I am surprised that they don't have Guernsey ice cream? That would be a welcome improvement for sure! Purchased 3-4 chocolates to go, I think one with cherries, another with maple, maybe a coconut, and a Buckeye. Let me preface this with the fact I love chocolate...after one bite of each, I threw them away. And the Buckeye was so revolting I automatically spit it out...what kind of peanut butter tastes like that?! I wish you were better, Alpine Chocolate Haus. :(
