Candy apples

Oh my goodness!!! What an absolute gem. I had the most glorious hot chocolate (Mayan with dark chocolate). This had to be the best hot chocolate I had in my life! I found this place by chance as I was killing some time in downtown Plymouth..sort of a memory lane tour. The stock of treats is vast!!! Chocolates, candy caramel apples, ice cream and yes, hot chocolate. My goodness! The inside decor is to die for. The staff were so nice! I think I met an owner (male). He said the company has been around for 40 years in Michigan and about 14 years in Plymouth. The vibe is so nice and I can't recommend this place more. Everyone was kind. All I felt was love! Come here!!' It's well worth your time!

The description for "Michigan Pot Hole" ice cream. It was delicious!

We came here because there are several chocoholics in our party and they wanted some high quality chocolate. I also intended to get some chocolate but got sidetracked by the ice cream, which I'm told is one of the best in the area and made by a local supplier. For ice cream I got 1/2 Michigan Pot Hole and 1/2 Mocha Chip. Mmmmmmm, if you like good quality chocolate, it was delicious! Michigan Pot Hole flavor is a rich dark chocolatey fudge ice cream with big chunks of dark chocolate in it. It was named such because Michigan roads are known for all their potholes. LOL!

I never got around to trying Alpine Chocolat Haus until Hawaii Yelper Dan O. met me there on his brief visit to Michigan. Alpine is an excellent choice for out-of-towners because there are so many chocolate and popcorn treats and small gifts that can be easily stowed away in a suitcase. I don't eat ice cream often and don't crave typical flavors like chocolate or rocky road. The ice cream served at Alpine is made by a well-regarded local company, Guernsey Farms Dairy, located in Northville. It was my first time trying Guernsey Farms ice cream, and I liked the Lavender Honey and Lemon Lavender flavors I chose for my cone. It was an unusual flavor offering that is rare to find, so I will have to return when I crave ice cream again.

Every time I am in downtown Plymouth during the warmer months I make sure to get ice cream from here. Good variety of flavors and the customer service is great as well. You'll likely grab and go, but the inside is quite spacious if you simply wanna chill inside

Superb gormet popcorn liberally coated twice with melt in your mouth buttery caramel

This outlet in Plymouth, originally from Gaylord, has THE best caramel corn one could ever hope for...and yes, get the 20oz bag....you dang well deserve it!

My visit was near Easter so I got to see how wide selection they make. Dark chocolate, milk chocolate, and white chocolate bunnies doing things besides the normal ones. Chocolate crosses for those who either religious or want to show the religious by biting off a piece of the cross in front of them and not in a nice way. They even have Easter baskets made of chocolate. The normal stock of their normal selection is still available. You can either buy pre boxed or choose individual pieces. Besides chocolate, they have Carmel corn in different varieties. If you are wondering if they, Yes they have candy apples that most high end chocolate shops think they have to have. They also serve ice cream, so if you are not careful, you can eat a day's worth of calories quickly. Worth a drive and another reason to add to the parking congestion in downtown Plymouth.

Just arrived here, online said they close at 8pm and on their door it's says 9pm. It's currently 7:02 and it's completely dark and door is locked. Love this place and drove over an hour to come out here. Very disappointed to arrive and have them be closed. Now to drive an hour back home, empty handed :/

LOVE this place!!!! Thank you, Yelpers, for steering me here! In town for a business meeting and all the good reviews made me stop here first. Lovely woman working came out and showed me around the products a bit which really made a difference and pointed out things I might not have bought otherwise. Not every chocolate house makes sea foam... it's a persnickety candy to make so I bought it naked as well as enrolled in dark with chips added! Also had to buy the lavender cherry bark because I've never seen that before anywhere else! (Both amazing!) But my SUPER find is the basil ice cream.... yes, basil-infused ice cream! Which I also had never had and was so so worth it and unique... love it! (It's not "flavored" with drops of basil flavoring or anything like that... I'm talking basil stuck in your teeth! Amazing!) And the caramel apples in the shape of a Thanksgiving turkey??! So cute!

Great taste a little sour a lot sweet but overall delicious I got a Caramel Apple dipped in Dark Chocolat Sea Salt

Living near Downtown Plymouth for most of my life, I have stopped into Alpine Chocolate Haus many times over the years. Every time, they're extremely friendly and even offer samples of multiple items -- the chocolate covered potato chips are are a fav and so is the ghost pepper caramel corn. I've also purchased the dark chocolate covered espresso beans multiple times. It's a local Michigan business (started in Gaylord) that warms my heart and taste buds to support. You can make a custom chocolate bar with a bunch of different add-ins for a reasonable price, which is a cute idea for a personalized gift or even to treat yo own self. They also recently started carrying a variety of fun, unique popcorn flavors year-round. Not all are chocolate-related which you might not expect. I'm excited to try some more of them in the near future! Ice cream is also around all year. Another tip: like them on fb for a piece of chocolate.

Really good chocolate place. They have samples all over the store too. I got about 8 truffles/chocolate pieces and it was less than $8 - great deal. Apparently the chocolate is made in Gaylord, according to the box. I sampled one of their mixes too and it was delicious - it had chocolate-covered potato chips in it. I also tried a piece of their caramel apple, and they have a ton of really tasty-looking caramel apples... One was even Michigan pothole-themed, which was funny. Worth a stop when you're in downtown Plymouth!

Are you a die hard chocolate lover? Then this is the place for you. The chocolate pecans are my favorite and what I tasted but there is so much variety. Anything you can image you can taste here. Decorated for the winter season this place is adorable. Seating is limited so not too much room for a larger group at least upstairs. The seating area is cozy and cute. There are several gift sets. It's pricy but this is amazing chocolate.

So my whole group and I happened to walk by Kilwin's, located in the heart of downtown Plymouth, over the weekend during the Ice Festival and it just felt like the perfect place to stop in after dinner and before ending the night. Yes, it was like single-digit weather, but I can always go for Kilwin's ice cream! My favorite ice creams they carry are the ones with streaks of fudge in them. I think in the past there's been one that's Mackinac Island Fudge flavored or something like that, but they didn't have that one available, so I oped for their smores flavor instead, which had fudge streaks, graham cracker crumble, chocolate chips, and marshmallow ice cream. It was so light and fluffy and the perfect balance of ALL flavors. I loved it! There is so much more to Kilwin's as well other than ice cream. I also went home with a caramel, but tons of my other friends got drinks (cold and hot), adorable chocolates, like chocolate covered orange peels and truffles galore, and of course FUDGE! Do yourself a favor and check out Kilwin's! They have locations all over Michigan and I think in other states as well. But they definitely originated in this great state (specifically, in Petoskey I believe!) and always scratch my itch for fudgey goodness without being on actual Mackinac Island!

Even though K's doesn't offer custard, they do offer a variety of desserts, including ice cream, chocolates, caramel apples, brittles, and more. Service is friendly and quick. The store, clean with only two tables. My favorite is the Kilwin mud (chocolate chip ice cream with caramel) and mango sorbetto (very refreshing and taste like you're biting into a ripe mango). Definitely a must place to stop by after a meal or just because!

I consider myself to be pretty picky when it comes to French macaron. Yeah, I've been to Paris a…read morecouple of times. I've been to the big world famous places and had them from the source, not just in their U.S. expansion locations. Let me tell you this. The macaron at The Blu Kitchen, this tiny little place with barely any operating hours at all, from a quality of product perspective is making delicious little morsels that compare favorably with the world's best. Some of the flavors, I'm looking at you salted caramel, are even better than what I had abroad. Of course, there are others that fall short. Notably the ones with sprinkles. However, I am told by Adina they are big sellers with the local crowd. Mon dieu. Arrive early on Saturday for the best selection. Things will sell out. But this is the cost of great food. Comparing the macaron here to others available locally, these are better than that preciously cute store in downtown Ann Arbor. The flavors are true. The textures are perfect. And they far surpass that Detroit pastry chef guy who makes other great things but whose macaron leave me disheartened. Macaron are pretty pricey for a little cookie. But when they are good, they are worth every penny. Why? Because they encapsulate a pursuit of perfection. As a small bite, they need to pack a flavorful punch. That flavor comes from the center. But here's the trick, that center cannot overshadow the rest of the confection. It has to blend seamlessly into the textures of the crisp outer shell, which coalesces into a tender almond flour interior, and that dense creamy middle. At one of the famous places in Paris, the filling was just far too stiff and produced a jarring effect. This can happen on occasion to the best macaron bakers and Adina is no exception. But her pursuit of perfection and attention to detail in every element of production are extraordinary. This review has been a long time coming and serves as a reminder to me that I need to get back to Plymouth for another fix. It's been far too long, and I saw on the gram I just missed coconut caramel. Dang it. If you are a macaron fan, you owe it to yourself to get some of these in your mouth. You can thank me later. Just skip the ones with the sprinkles, and maybe if enough of us buy the better unadorned versions, Adina will stop pandering to the crowd and make the world class treats I know she can.

We got a bouncer with a slide and a basketball hoop.Their price for 8 hours was $175 which was really good. Other ones we looked into were $200+ for the same amount of time, same type of bounce house. When they arrived I had to sign a quick waiver and they immediately got it setup in my backyard. The bouncer was clean and in really good condition. It almost looked brand new. Everything we needed was included in the $175 price, blower, extension cord, stakes, etc - they don't try to nickel and dime you, it's all inclusive. Total time from the time they got here until the time they left was less than 15 minutes. The coolest part is that even though we only paid for 8 hours they asked me if it was ok if they picked it up the next day. So, the kids jumped well into the night and since it was still nice out, I got up the next morning and fired it back up for round 2. We definitely got our money's worth and that was a super nice gesture to offer to leave it. When it was time to pack it up they were equally efficient. 15 minutes again and it was packed back up and they were on their way. Since my son's birthday is in mid-October it's unusual that it's nice enough to get him a bounce house for his birthday but, if it's this nice again next year I won't hesitate to call these guys up again next year and even told them as much. Very pleasurable experience, I would definitely recommend them for your party.
