Peanut Butter Cup Perfection in chocolate waffle bowl
    Alhana W.

I hate to be the one to write a bad review, but I just want people to know what they're going to be walking into. Maybe it was because I came in around 5pm, and in the morning time it's a bit more clean but here was my bad experience. It was my first time trying at this location on 5/25/24, i walked in and it was an absolute mess. Very small area and I always wanted to try it but after seeing the inside and way my ice cream was made, I will never be coming here again. When I came in, I ordered the peanut butter cup perfection. I came in with two other people who ordered their own ice cream, and we had ordered three to go for my family at home. So a total of six ice cream's. There was no one behind us waiting in line or anyone in front of us that just had ordered. There were two families in the creamery already eating, so there was no need to rush in the first place. Oh and three people working. I had this young boy take care of my order and my first reaction was why he was not wearing a hairnet with his long brown hair hanging below his shoulders, if not a hairnet why not it pulled back. That is very unsanitary to me, the other two young ladies working did in fact have their hair pulled up and back. Another thing that made the experience not pleasant was the fact that my ice cream that he was blending together, he scooped it into the chocolate covered waffle bowl, and seconds later it fell on the counter like where they have their stuff leaned against the glass not on the actual ice cream mixing area. Me being me, I didn't have the guts to ask him to remake it, but I honestly felt uncomfortable eating it after it had fell in an area where they had their supplies or whatever they had. I don't know if they had other food or toppings or if there's hair or dirt. I have no idea what's behind there so the fact that it fell over there and then he just scooped it right back into the bowl thinking I wouldn't notice is what disturbed me. Again there was no one behind us, and he was only taking care of my order so he could've just thrown that away and easily remade it after he knew it fell, and decided to still scoop it back into the bowl. Lastly, I wanted the chocolate covered waffle bowl and the young lady said that we didn't have any so I said that the cone was fine, when the young gentleman who was taking care of my order put it in the bowl. I thought they didn't have any of the bowls, so when I saw it, I was excited, but when i bit into it at home, it was the stalest piece of chocolate covered waffle I had ever tasted in my whole entire life. I was hesitant and worried that maybe he gave me one of the sample display waffle bowls instead of a fresh waffle bowl. Unclean area, unclean countertop, where you pay and receive your ice cream, drippings and stains and rims of ice cream everywhere. Overall, not a great experience, I will not be coming back here again.

Stopped by for a little sweet treat! Super cute in the little uptown of canton with lots of others businesses! The lady beyond the counter was so kind and helpful! But upon eating my yummy take 5 Reese's creation I found a bug.. I removed and kept eating but still a little startling! This is no persons fault but being a food establishment this is you one job on high priority of things you should take care of and prevent!

We went for my brother in laws bday! So there was a gang of us and most of us wanted smoothies.. we ordered and the guys like i don't make smoothies.. you'll have to wait 5 mins till the girl gets back ( what girl and who works there and doesn't make everything lol)the women that came back was super annoyed that the guy didn't make the order from us. We wont come again thats for sure!

busy line out of door around 7:30pm (busy time)

I do not always come to this location, but this time was not my best experience here. Overall my ice cream was enjoyable but I have concerns about the hygiene of the workers.A young teenage girl employee with glasses, who who wore her hair in a ponytail had her bangs covering her eyes was constantly touching her hair with she was fixing ice cream. She even took upon herself to wash her spoons she was using but never her hands....EVEN WHILE HER COWORKERS WERE WEARING GLOVES!!! It was disgusting to watch her constantly play in her hair while she was infront of people being watched while preparing ice cream. I'm lucky that she wasn't the one preparing my order, but this is still unacceptable. Wash your hands, i don't know how many time we said this during the year of 2020 & 2021. Highly disappointed.

I love that there's an ice cream place in Cherry Hill Village...especially because most of the ice cream shops are on Ford, kind of spread out. I love their Cold Stone Apple a la mode and their strawberry shortcake type mix-in. I'll definitely be coming back soon!

Kudos to the young lady working alone on 5/29. The place was crowded and she managed it with grace and a great attitude.

Take, for instance, the Spuddy Buddy, an ice cream bar made of vanilla custard and chunks of peanut butter, coated in kettle chips and dipped in dark chocolate. I had this one upon my first visit to their window and BUDDY let me tell you something, this Spuddy was darn goody. It's the perfect marriage of sweet and salty, not overpowering in any direction. The peanut butter and chips give it a nice savory crunch, the dark chocolate is more rich than sweet, and the custard gives it just the right amount of creamy sugar to balance it all out. It's excellent. The current menu isn't huge but it's quite mighty! In addition to Spuddy Buddy they also have ice cream tacos, ice cream cookie sandwiches, and a few more bar options. The window is pretty much only open on the weekends but I'm starting to see their ice cream in freezers in shops around town and that is very exciting. Just today I got one of their other offerings, "Don't Marsh My Mellow" at Biercamp in Ann Arbor. This treat is a s'mores inspired bar filled with chocolate ice cream and marshmallow cream sandwiches between two graham crackers and dipped in dark chocolate. Hands down one of the best sweet treats I've had in a long time (and I indulge in a lot of sweet treats!). If you're in the area on a weekend, make a beeline for their window, or look for them in the freezer section in a store near you! Hopefully you'll be lucky enough to see a silver wrapper with deliciousness inside waiting for you!

The Mediterranean Summer was so good, perfect blend of sweet ice cream, quality olive oil, fennel, and salt. The Rocky Road was everything I'd hoped, chocolatey, nutty, and crunchy with pretzels and some marshmallow. We took home some popsicles/ice cream bars, too, and are looking forward to those. I know the Don't Marsh My Mallow is great, but we're also trying the strawberry cookie sandwich and cucumber tajin popsicle.
