I hate to be the one to write a bad review, but I just want people to know what they're going to be walking into. Maybe it was because I came in around 5pm, and in the morning time it's a bit more clean but here was my bad experience. It was my first time trying at this location on 5/25/24, i walked in and it was an absolute mess. Very small area and I always wanted to try it but after seeing the inside and way my ice cream was made, I will never be coming here again. When I came in, I ordered the peanut butter cup perfection. I came in with two other people who ordered their own ice cream, and we had ordered three to go for my family at home. So a total of six ice cream's. There was no one behind us waiting in line or anyone in front of us that just had ordered. There were two families in the creamery already eating, so there was no need to rush in the first place. Oh and three people working. I had this young boy take care of my order and my first reaction was why he was not wearing a hairnet with his long brown hair hanging below his shoulders, if not a hairnet why not it pulled back. That is very unsanitary to me, the other two young ladies working did in fact have their hair pulled up and back. Another thing that made the experience not pleasant was the fact that my ice cream that he was blending together, he scooped it into the chocolate covered waffle bowl, and seconds later it fell on the counter like where they have their stuff leaned against the glass not on the actual ice cream mixing area. Me being me, I didn't have the guts to ask him to remake it, but I honestly felt uncomfortable eating it after it had fell in an area where they had their supplies or whatever they had. I don't know if they had other food or toppings or if there's hair or dirt. I have no idea what's behind there so the fact that it fell over there and then he just scooped it right back into the bowl thinking I wouldn't notice is what disturbed me. Again there was no one behind us, and he was only taking care of my order so he could've just thrown that away and easily remade it after he knew it fell, and decided to still scoop it back into the bowl. Lastly, I wanted the chocolate covered waffle bowl and the young lady said that we didn't have any so I said that the cone was fine, when the young gentleman who was taking care of my order put it in the bowl. I thought they didn't have any of the bowls, so when I saw it, I was excited, but when i bit into it at home, it was the stalest piece of chocolate covered waffle I had ever tasted in my whole entire life. I was hesitant and worried that maybe he gave me one of the sample display waffle bowls instead of a fresh waffle bowl. Unclean area, unclean countertop, where you pay and receive your ice cream, drippings and stains and rims of ice cream everywhere. Overall my ice cream was enjoyable but I have concerns about the hygiene of the workers.A young teenage girl employee with glasses, who who wore her hair in a ponytail had her bangs covering her eyes was constantly touching her hair with she was fixing ice cream. She even took upon herself to wash her spoons she was using but never her hands....EVEN WHILE HER COWORKERS WERE WEARING GLOVES!!! Despite its faults, this Coldstone Creamery is one of my favorites. While they may lack in flavors, they make up for it with their amazing location. It's clean, and Cherry Hill Village is simply adorable. At a little over $3 for their smallest size, the Like It, their creamy deserts are pricey. This location does not feature the almost overwhelming amount of ice cream choices that other Coldstone Creamery's may have, but they definitely have the crowd favorites. I don't know for sure, but they do seem to have most of the mix-ins that we know and love. This particular location is very clean! Their restrooms seem to be shared with another business in the plaza, but they are very clean. The service has been okay. Nothing to cry about, but the servers here aren't very customer service oriented. They're just kind of there to be there. Yummy, but slightly limited ice cream. Delicious mix-ins, and meh service. Super clean bathrooms, and a very nice town. Give it a try! read more

I ordered a custom cake 4 days ago, for pickup today at 12. When I arrived, the guy checks and tells me the cake isn't finished and he and the other girl havent been trained to decorate cakes; their shift manager didnt show up for work. I could tell the 2 were trying their best and its not their fault they are undertrained and left alone. It is managements fault, and from other reviews it is clear this happens often. They offered me a pre made cake and put some extra toppings on it, even did their best to write happy birthday on it. So they saved the day but managament needs to pull it together, I will not come here again. My boyfriend's 12 year old daughter was very disappointed at her birthday party. P.s. please praise these 2 poor employees for holding it together. read more

Amazing. Have been going here since I was a kid. They do give you your ice cream before you pay so you can eat it in line and so they can be faster. It takes a bit more time because they use their hands to put the add ins into the icecream but it's so worth it. The ice cream is AMAZING. my favorite place since I was a kid. For joining you get a BOGO offer, so I'm back in business. Try to order my wife her Mud Pie Mojo with half dark chocolate and half coffee. Now he won't let me do that. You can't change it he said or then it is no longer a signature creation. Jeeez. Good business in my opinion at this point is to make it the way the customer would like it. Is it really going to kill them to use two different ice creams. But, his store, his choice. So my choice will be to not go back. I hope he feels the scoop of dark chocolate was worth it. They ordered a small cup each. As you may know, each cup comes with 1 "free" mixin. Well one of my kids didn't want a mix in and the other wanted 2. It evens out, right? Well not to Coldstone. Despite my questioning, they still charged me for an "extra" mixin. While technically they were right per their menu, that was a horrible customer service move. My kids and I are slated to be in the area weekly for the summer and this was to be the first week of what I intended to be a weekly trip to Coldstone. Had a very humiliating incident last night when I went with my kid and husband and entered the store at 10:02 pm as the doors were still open and there were a lot of people inside. One of the workers said "I am not sure how you got in as the front door was supposed to be locked" and asked us to leave as it was past ten and she cannot accept new customers. My family and I went to Coldstone tonight at about closing time with 5 adults and 3 children. We bought about $35.00 in ice cream. Our order was completed at about 15-20 minutes after the hour. At 9:35-9:40, about 20 minutes after we received our food we were told they were closed and it was time for us to leave the building. Two people were still eating their large cones. Apparently this type of customer service is a part of the corporate culture as we were told to take it up with the manager the next day. Also, prior to that one of the adults (who works in the restaurant industry) noticed a putrid taste in the strawberry's mixed into his cone and decided to pick them out. I am a previous employee and I could go on and on about this place. This place had a mice problem that was over with months before I got there. I was finding mice droppings in areas that should've been being cleaned often before I even got there Under the meat slicer, behind the meat cabinet, under the stone where the the bags, kids cones, and spades used to scoop the ice cream go. We also found receipt paper that was chewed through by mice under the register. That goes to show that they never cleaned after getting rid of the mice. There was also a bucket of pickles with black mold all over the container that the owner advised to keep using because the pickles were "still good". Still kept in the same container. There was also black mold in the spade well that is used to rinse off spades before scooping the next customer's Icecream. The owners do not care to train any of the staff and everyone just basically does what they want. Most of the time, dishes aren't even being washed properly because people just spray them off with water and call it a day. read more

I live in the area and normally love walking to this great ice cream shop! Sadly, on one of my past visits, I had such an unfortunate experience. My dear friend ordered a love it size of sea salt caramel. However, this ice cream was not what we thought it would be. Instead of using a pinch of sea salt and good squeeze of caramel. The ice cream barista proceeded to POUR approximately 1/4 cup of TABLE SALT onto the sweet cream ice cream with a dash of caramel. To be polite, my friend accepted and tried this horrendous ice cream. Upon trying and eating this ice cream he was in utter disbelief. He proceeded to almost puke do to this atrocious monstrosity that was apparently "salted caramel ice cream". I tried the ice cream as well and I've truly never ate something so terrible.
