It's been many years since I've been to an L. George's Coney Island. I didn't even realize Canton had a location until I drove past it recently. I figured it would be a great opportunity to pay this place a visit for breakfast. I was impressed by how busy they were, especially on a rainy day. My waitress Gabby was super attentive and the staff were so sweet to my baby daughter, who joined me today. All the food was great, and I could tell it was of much better quality than other Coney Island restaurants in the area. It's worth mentioned that the sirloin that I ordered on the side was cooked perfectly and well seasoned. I requested it to be medium and that's exactly what I got. Eggs, hash browns and turkey sausage were satisfying as well as the mixed fruit bowl. For sure this will be my go to Coney Island/diner in the future

Had a party of 15 at 7:30am, they were able to accommodate. Food was quick, fresh and very delicious. Best coney in the area!

Beets, olives, pepperoni, red onions and feta cheese.

Ordered small chicken Greek salad for $13.99, received a plate of pita bread, bowl of lettuce with 3 tomato wedges, 1 sliced hard boiled egg, 4 slices of cucumber, chop grilled chicken and a container of dressing. I guess other 5 items are optional after you were asked if you wanted everything and I replied yes please.

This is a bustling establishment that is nice and large, open and roomy, with good service. There is a lot of activity going on. the food is continually moving out of the kitchen even during peak times. You can't go wrong with any of the breakfast items. They have a big menu which is typical of most of the local Coney Island joints. The food portions are generous. The coffee is hot. The ics tea is fresh brewed. And you don't have to wait very long from the time you sit down to have someone greet you ready to take your drink order and your meal order. The only disappointment I have to report is with the chicken kebab dinner that I ordered. The portion was very generous. The rice and red sauce was delicious. But the chicken tasted odd. I know it was marinated as described on the menu. It's almost as if the chicken cooked through the acidic reaction of the marinade process. It had a very pronounced briny and salty taste that I found unpleasant. Although the chicken portion was generous, that alone could not compensate for the peculiar and offputting taste of the chicken itself. Sometimes when proteins are marinated, they actually cook if the marinade includes anything acidic like lemon juice. The chicken kebab dinners at Leo's and national Coney Island are far better. I do like this place and the servers are really great.

Ordered a T-bone steak received a New York strip with a bone and no filet asked for it to be seasoned. It wasn't when I brought this to the attention of the manager or the chef they told me there's nothing that they could do about it even though I ordered a T-bone, I asked for a replacement or to order another steak and they told me I could not have spent close to thousand of dollars over the years eating here. All I wanted was to get What was advertised and what I was paying for? Looks like I'm going to have to find another breakfast spot because I will not be coming back in patronizing them again.

The Second Lady she was highly rude saying we don't have flies well this is a flying ant I found in my grits

I come to here to breakfast every month I normally sit in but today I decided to bring it home and I found a flying ant in my grits and I called and the lady was highly rude saying we don't have flies well it's a flying ant in my food

I just happened to pass by today and remembered it. It's nothing fancy, just a good, solid local diner kind of place. Sometimes that's exactly what you need. The person who took care of our table was super attentive and really understood my requests. She made sure everything was done the way we wanted, and that always feels good, when someone truly listens and gets it right. The food was decent and prepared just the way we asked. Overall, a simple, satisfying experience. Definitely a reliable spot when you want something easy and comforting.

It's a popular hangout for the local HS students because it's always open. We made a breakfast stop here after I came off a red-eye flight. The parking lot was sparsely occupied which wasn't a surprise because of the early hour and wintry weather. A combination of booths on the edges and tables in the middle made up the main dining room to the right of the service counter. To the left was an auxiliary dining room for overflow at busy times. My friend and I sat at a corner booth and started looking at the two-page laminated menu. The font was rather small with no photos so the number of items was extensive. Breakfast and beverage offerings were listed on the front side. The back displayed the lunch and dinner choices that included nine entrees specifically for adults 62 years and older. I am not sure if they check ID to validate one's age. I wanted a little bit of savory and sweet for my meal. My selection was a Belgian Sampler that consisted of one round waffle, two eggs (sunny side up was my choice), one bacon strip, one sausage link, and one slice of ham. For $11.29, the amount of food on the plate was a good value. The problem was that the waffle was extremely dry. No amount of butter and syrup was going to save the overcooked dough. The service was also a bit spotty. I gave a 3.5 star rating for our visit to Zack's of Plymouth.

After some time of waiting, they continued seating multiple groups that came in after us taking the tables of 4 that were available. They even seated the couple behind us in line at a 4 person table. I asked the hostess about my group and if I should take them elsewhere as they kept seating people behind us in line. She responded and said "it will be more time for your group. Looking to get tables close to each other". I told her that the reason why we stuck around was to get seated and was fine with splitting, as already discussed. Another table got sat ahead of us shortly after this conversation happened. My group instantly felt disrespected and not welcomed - which led to our group unanimously voting to leave.
