The place is so good!!…read more A friend recommended me to come here and I said why not give it a try since I was in the area today. Staff were amazing. So kind and so funny and very helpful on my selection. It's a clean restaurant and I mean very clean. They have about 10 tables to sit down and enjoy your food. Do you see how big this bowl aka BOX is?!? I ordered the chicken shawarma bowl and it might be one of the best chickens I have had. It was tender and full of proper flavor. The toppings were fresh as well. They top it with garlic and I like it. Their garlic has a kick to it so you know it's freshly made. Their menu has a good selection of different things to order. So there's something that everyone will definitely love. They also make smoothies. They specifically in a Afrikano style which is more spicy. I wasn't feeling spicy today, but I'll definitely come next time to try it. I'm glad I finally gave this place and try and will most definitely be back to try more food.

Swung by today running some errands and wanted to grab some Arabic baked goods. Turns out it's more…read morethan just a bakery but an eatery with a pretty extensive menu as well. So, in addition to stocking up on meat pies, spinach pies, and cheese manaeesh (flatbread) I also ordered lunch! They have a variety of sandwich pita wraps, manaeesh with a variety of different toppings, a few dinner plates, and the manau-wich, which is a wrapped sandwich made with their cheese manaeesh instead of pita. I ended up going with the chicken shawarma version of that and it was really good! Pretty rich with all that extra cheese but very good! I got the combo which also included a drink and fries, making it a hearty meal, especially for lunch. The sandwich was pretty good size, too, and could easily make two meals given how hearty it was. There's a bit of seating inside so waiting for my order was comfortable but I could see it filling up quickly during lunch rush. I think I'd most likely do takeout. The gentleman behind the counter was very nice and patient with me as I got myself familiar with their menu. Would definitely make my way back here for a bite, some baked goods to go, or both! PS--for a larger baked good selection come earlier in the day, I got the meat pies I wanted but I definitely cleaned them out.

I enjoyed the food, but I was not a fan of the service. I won't go into details about that, but my point is I didn't want to give them business when there were plenty of bakeries I felt were more deserving of my money. But of course like many other restaurants in Dearborn they decided to open shop in Canton. Decided to give them a chance, so I ordered one item that I considered a classic item for me and one that was a relatively new addition. This led me to get a cheese and pepperoni manaeesh as well as the hot honey buffalo chicken slider (which came recommended by the cashier who claimed it was his idea). I will say I was pleased with the service here and I throughly enjoyed the food which was made fresh. My only complaint was the chicken slider was too messy and the buns barely existed so holding it was a pain. Beyond that the place looks like a typical Lebanese owned bakery which felt authentic to me. It's definitely a take out place, but you can't go wrong eating there if you don't mind the simple feel. Will come back again for sure

The majority of the Middle Eastern restaurants in the city have been Lebanese or Yemeni, but now I am pleased to say that we finally have our own Iraqi restaurant nestled in a small space off Lilley and Ford Rd. The most famous dish that you can find in an Iraqi restaurant is their version of kabob, which is similar to Lebanese kafta but with less ingredients and more fat. I made sure to order a mixed chicken and beef kebab entree which came with a choice of two sides (I chose fries and lentil soup). I also got a large order of fattoush salad to round up everything. The soup, fries and salad were all very good, but they were nothing outstanding or out of the norm from what I am used to. The kabobs on the other hand were absolutely phenomenal and I could tell they were going to be amazing when I opened the lid and caught the aroma of the meats. They were absolutely full of flavor and super tender. Before taxes and tip I think I paid around $35 for all this including some pita bread on the side. It's not bad, but the salad was definitely overpriced and not nearly as "large" as it could have been. Despite this minor grievance the restaurant is very nice inside, the staff are welcoming and the menu is quite easy to navigate and not filled with clutter. The Canton area would greatly benefit from hole in the walls like this place.

I mean, some have shredded cheese on them. I could have just brought my own and asked for a discount. The quality is overall great, however. Amazing clubs, average subs, good chili, amazing coleslaw, deeply disappointing salads. It's hit and miss, but nothing is actively bad. Service is okay. Given that this place is only open for a sliver of time every day I'd expect it to be a little more functional and friendly. Seems scrappy and panicked, even when there's only a few customers. No online ordering, but things are made pretty quickly. Definitely call ahead if you can't wait. You'll be there 5+ minutes per customer ahead of you. Everyone feels like they just started working there, but do well enough. The location is ideal for being in a downtown area. Parking lot just outside, and more spots on the nearby parallel street. Plenty of seating. Cool business card holder in front. Decor is to be hoped for, though. Low brow toxic positivity and sexism isn't my jam, but to each their own.
