Was in the mood to try out another local middle eastern place and Beirut Vibes was top of my list. From start to finish the hospitality and generosity was unmatched. The staff members that waited on us were so kind and helpful with our questions. I ordered the chicken tawook platter a small hummus and fattoush salad. The portion sizes were enormous and would be plenty to share between 2 people easily. The chicken was moist and flavorful, the rice cooked beautifully, and the charred vegetables delicious! We have driven past Beirut Vibes several times recently and said we should stop in. We finally decided to check it out for dinner. We were surprised to see we were the only ones in the entire dining room. The staff greeted us right away and got us seated immediately. The dining room does not have the typical decorative flair of most middle eastern restaurants in our area, but they are fairly new. When our waitress came to the table, we asked about recommendations and she offered a few. I decided on the chicken and beef shawarma dinner combo and my wife went with the Chicken Tawook. The waitress pointed out the traditional spits that they cook the shawarma on in the kitchen. Both meals came with a lentil soup and salad, which we picked the fattoush. To start, the lentil soup was decent, nothing out of the ordinary. However, the fattoush salad was excellent and dressed perfectly. They topped it with fresh pomegranate seeds and the right amount of dressing. We ordered a small hummus, which was nice and creamy. I wish they made the soft pillowy bread in house, but it was just the standard pita bread. The amount of food you get for the price is outstanding. The shawarma combo was a great way to try a couple items. The chicken shawarma was pretty good (I am not always a huge chicken shawarma fan) as it was a little dry. However, the beef shawarma with the garlic pastes and rice were on point. The real winner was my wife's Chicken Tawook. The chicken was moist, flavorful and just delicious. You can definitely split one meal for two. To end, the waitress surprised us with a delicious dessert she called the Beirut Dessert, it was yummy. Overall this place was good. We will definitely go back to try some other options. It is hard in an area with so many middle eastern options, but I hope they do well. Stop by and show them some love. read more

Always on the hunt for an amazing gem near our office (nearby automotive spot), a group of 10 of us stumbled onto Beirut Vibes based on Yelp reviews. Fortune smiled upon us that day, my dear friends and readers. I ordered the Tabliye Chicken Shawarma. My assorted coworkers ordered sandwiches, lunch entrees, dinner entrees - one even got "Meat With Eggs", which completely confused me as I have no idea what that means. But I think EVERYONE loved their food, and my "table" of lunch food including a delicious chicken shawarma was tender and delicious, and the lentil soup was dynamite. Great smoothies (according to my co-workers, although I save my calories for savory stuff). The servers were helpful with the menu, brought us frequent refills, and even gave us a free small sample of desserts to our large table. Give me a little plate of delicious white dessert in the hopes of getting me to spread the word about your awesomeness to my other co-workers? Yep! Flattery will get you EVERYWHERE with me! (Kidding - the meal spoke for itself without the dessert, although it was delicious without being cloyingly sweet). Would it be a review from me without some kind of recommendation for improvement? No, it wouldn't. The lunch took much too long. From arrival to departure was over 1hr 30 minutes, which during a work day for busy working guys is way too long. It took a LONG time for 10 guys to pay individually one-at-a-time at the counter when we all left - the server should have taken our cards at the table and run them while we wrapped up eating. I'd take a lunch that's delivered more quickly and didn't come with a complimentary dessert if it meant getting in and out in 50 minutes. But these are minor qualms with a place that had delicious food, at a very reasonable price point, and delightful servers who clearly cared about their food, our reaction to it, and our interest in coming back. These are good restauranteurs, and you should be going to check them out. Just don't be in a huge rush. :) read more

Finally got a chance to try this place out!! Let me tell you; it did not disappoint!! This building used to be the former "Bone Yard" restaurant. Walking in, the interior is very simple and unassuming. We ordered the meal for 3/4 just so we can try more items. We started the meal with the garlic paste, homous, grape leaves and lentil soup. The main entree was chicken kafta, meat kafta and grilled chicken breast. It also came with chicken shawarma and fattoush salad. We ordered rice instead of the fries. Everything was truly authentic, delicious and well-seasoned!! They make freshly squeezed juices which are customizable to the flavors you like. My family came in trying to find a new restaurant to eat in Michigan and happened to stumble across Beirut Vibes. Even though it was pretty hard to find because we didn't see a sign we still managed to find the door. The owner and worker were really pleasant even though the appearance doesn't seem well. When we tried the food it was so good that we are ordering the same thing over and over again. One particular son was really picky and didn't have high hopes for the food. But from a miracle he ate it and gave it two thumbs up. I recommend this food and place to anyone new to other types of food. read more

Lamb chops tough! could not cut with a knife, tried to bite one and it was like a leather strap. Had to send it back and was still charged full price for it! Staff was very nice. Gave me a different entree replacing the lamb, but refused to subtract the diff in the price. cushions on chairs were peeling and gnats flying around the food. The restaurant is not updated. It use to be the old BoneYard restaurant. It was just the 3 of us, didn't order a lot of food and the gratuity was (18%). Will not be going back. Go try it for yourself. read more

Visited Beirut Vibes this evening with my family! The staff were very friendly and attentive. The food was absolutely delicious! I had the Kafta which was very tender and juicy with great flavor! This entree dish came with soup or salad - pita bread, grilled veggies, and a generous amount of rice. We also ordered the hummus as an appetizer which was freshly made with a nice consistency. I am so glad I found this restaurant because it is, hands down, the best Middle Eastern in metro Detroit. We probably eat M.E. twice per week and have been to all the well known, well reviewed places. And I'm telling you, this restaurant is better.
