Grape Leaves Hommous Baba Ghannuge Fattoush Salad Mango Juice Falafel Plate Combo Grill Platter

Ok so one million years ago (maybe 15??) my family and I walked into this fried chicken restaurant (Stephans?) we were regulars at and looked at the menu and it no longer had fried chicken, it had shish tawook. We didn't realize the restaurant had changed hands and turned into Beirut by Night, because they kept all the same furniture, menu books, decor -- everything. But after being seated with drinks, we had come to far so we went with it. Our accident, we hoped, would turn out okay. It was AMAZING. Our new family favorite, we went here all the time. Like weekly, if not more frequently. A few years later, they renovated. Their dining room is beautiful with incredible lamps and decor. At one point MI changed their smoking laws -- shisha had to be in the back room from now on and only at certain hours. But who cares! Grape mint shisha?! If you know, you know. Their catering is amazing. We order it for almost every large family gathering we have. Also, if you don't go to the Ramadan buffet you're missing out immensely. Like, what.the.heck. This place is the BEST!!!!! Now many moons have passed since our trip to eat fried chicken that turned out to be a shawarma hummus plate. Now, I live in upstate NY with my own family and rarely get to come to Dearborn. I recently was able to bring my husband and take him to Beirut by Night -- the one and only important thing I wanted to make sure we did while "back home." We got takeout and ate it in our RV in the parking lot. Let me tell you -- we have a few "Mediterranean" restaurants back where we live in NY, and only one Lebanese restaurant, and they all pall in comparison. Joey was IMPRESSED! The only complaint I have? I can't get them to overnight ship their food to me in NY. I LOVE YOU BEIRUT BY NIGHT

Chicken Ghallaba, smells good but taste bland

I prefer Hamdio, Al ameer, and Al Saha if I want Arabic food. The food just taste bland here, even the Arabic tea is not strong. Bread taste werid compare to other restaurant in town. I don't know what's going on in the kitchen, I don't eat very salty or very sweet, but the food is bland compare to other places. Woman bathroom is broken and dirty. No paper towels to dry hands Service is good but slow. No wonder it has so little customers. I don't recommend this place at all

Chicken Gallaba Plate

I love their food especially the chicken galaba and the garlic, the hummus everything is yummy and their prices is really fair regarding to other places !!! i will definitely come back.

Meat ghalaba and rice. Yum!

A group of us from work returned recently for an early dinner, and it was great! The homemade bread was fresh, soft and warm; the garlic dip was thick and creamy. Most of us ordered one of the two soups: chicken lemon rice and lentil, both of which were piping hot and savory. My friend ordered the meat ghalaba and it looked amazing! The Greek salad looked large and fresh with lots of feta, and I ordered the super falafel wrap with fries. Yum! The 'super' part is tabouli and hummus. Delicious. I ordered coffee and my bill was only $10.50. Yes, please! The service was fast and very friendly, and the dining room is very nice to eat in. Good lighting, nice fixtures and textures, plants. Will definitely return.

Lebanese Salad

Excellent Middle Eastern Cuisine! Really great Lebanese Salad. Tawook Lemon Oregano is amazing!!! My family enjoys the deboned chicken. This place has by far the best garlic sauce / if you like it a bit zesty. Servers are nice, but a bit slow & seem as though they aren't familiar with the order of events in a restaurant. They are hard to locate near the end of the meal when you are looking for the check. Food is great!

Large variety of dishes, and juice drinks. Love their stuffed grape leaves, chicken shawarma, and lemonade! Nice decor, airy space, and friendly staff. Always a table available, even with a large group. I'm knocking a star off my previous review because the last time I visited, the place needed a good cleaning.

Likes this kabob place that came highly recommended by so workers and YELP. Myself and two other chefs are away from home on assignment. Wanted something different to eat. This place did not disappoint. We all shared all of our samples and got the same entrees as well. We all really enjoyed our company and dinner. Sadly we were so full there was no room for dessert. The restaurant seemed a bit cold with all the tile and woodwork but the service shone. She realized that us chefs just wanted the real deal and we got it... Highly recommend this place...

I did enter through the rear of the establishment since I parked there. The menu is pretty extensive. Ended up getting the half order of hummus. A basket of warm pita and two sauces came out. I initially thought that was the pita. This was complimentary I believe. The garlic sauce is solid. The other one is a spicy sauce of some sort. This spicy one was super good. The hummus came out. Very smooth and flavorful. For my entree, I got the Shish Kafta. You can choose between lamb or chicken. I went with the chicken with a side of rice and my choice of soup or salad. I opted for the lentil soup. That came out piping hot. This was delicious. Flavorful and good texture. My entree came out and wow. The portion is way more than what you pay for. Came with 4 very huge blocks of chicken kefta. Nicely seasoned and grilled to perfection. Had a nice char on the outside, but still juicy on the inside. I used the two sauces from earlier to give it an extra kick. I washed it all down with a mint lemonade. This was absolutely refreshing. Clean place, very good food and the customer service was solid.

The food was outstanding. The lamb was incredibly tender, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. The fresh bread, rice, and overall quality of the meal reminded me why Dearborn has become one of my favorite food destinations whenever I'm in Michigan. What made the experience even better was the service from Murad. From the moment I sat down, Murad was welcoming, attentive, and genuinely kind. He got my food out quickly, checked on me throughout the meal without being intrusive, and before I left, he thoughtfully brought me a wonderful cup of tea to finish the evening. His warm smile, positive attitude, and professionalism made a great meal even more memorable. Restaurants can serve excellent food, but great hospitality is what keeps people coming back. Murad is a perfect example of that. If management is reading this, he's doing an outstanding job representing your restaurant. I'll be back every time my travels bring me to Dearborn.

The owners are incredibly kind and make you feel appreciated as a customer, which really stands out. The food is pretty good overall, with solid Middle Eastern flavors and generous portions. One small thing I've noticed is that occasionally the bread comes out a bit cold, but it's a minor issue and hasn't taken away from the overall experience. Between the warm hospitality and consistently good food, LaPita is definitely a spot worth stopping by when you're in Dearborn.

They started us off with complimentary plain bread, which felt a bit basic without even a touch of garlic or flavoring. The place didn't have a dedicated drinks menu, but the server mentioned she could make anything we wanted, which sounded promising. However, the drinks didn't quite live up to expectations. The margaritas ($12) were quite diluted, and the $7 mocktails were underwhelming. For food, we ordered the Chicken Kabob Dinner, Shawarma Platter, and Spicy Man-Usha. Both the Chicken Kabob Dinner and Shawarma Platter came with two sides : we chose fattoush salad, Greek salad, and grilled vegetables. The grilled vegetables were done really well, and the shawarma platter was enjoyable. However, the chicken kabob was disappointingly dry, and the Spicy Man-Usha, despite sounding exciting, turned out quite bland. Overall, it was an okay experience, pleasant enough for a casual visit, but not something that would make us go out of our way to return.
