The food comes out hot, fast, and loaded with flavor--exactly how it should be. The tacos? All kinds, all fire. The fries? Straight-up bomb. And that baguette? Crispy, crunchy perfection. Whether you're grabbing a quick bite or looking to try something new, this place delivers. Definitely worth checking out--you might just find your new favorite taco joint.

After learning we had never been here before, he answered our questions and gave recommendations of menu items based on our preferences. Because of this, we decided to eat here and through our whole ordering process he was transparent about spice levels and any other considerations. We ordered tacos - two steak for her and one chicken and one ground beef for me. Both with a side of rice and beans. The hot sauce is nicely spicy. The white sauce was fantastic, it is the type of sauce I would put on everything if I could. The taco shells with the cheese cooked onto them, in addition to the fillings and sauces, resulted in some extremely delicious tacos. The chicken taco easily is one of the best tacos I've had, it was that good. Everything was fresh, delicious, and filling. Special thanks to Abe for converting us from tourists to customers - we are eagerly anticipating our next visit!

I am in the hospital, so I ordered enough to get me through a few days. Here are my recommendations. A5 Crab fresh rolls $9.95 - If getting carry out, I suggest asking for four sauces instead of the two it comes with. The fresh rolls are big and I used two sauces on the first one. S2 Large - Tom Kha $10.99 - delicious! Warms you from within. Great flavor. A6 chicken satay - 3 pc $7.95 - I didn't start eating them until the next day. The sauces are really good. I would suggest getting two rice wine vinegar sauces for every peanut sauce. 46. Volcano Roll Cucumber, Krab Meat, topped with Baked seafood Avocado Spicy mayo Eel Sauce, Black tobiko. Delicious! I really didn't need to order another roll selection. This one was filling enough. The crab salad on top was amazing. $15.95

So I decided to give them another shot, this time through DoorDash since my last issue was mostly service-related. That was a mistake. I ordered the "ramen creamy tom yum seafood." What I received was not even close. The containers leaked all over the bag, and once I separated everything out, it was obvious this dish was completely wrong. No ramen. No mussels. No crab. No egg. No cilantro. Just mushrooms and a few shrimp. That's it. At this price point, over $30, there is no excuse. This isn't a minor miss. This is an entirely different dish. What's worse is this doesn't feel like a one-off mistake. This feels like something they get away with because not everyone checks or leaves a review. If you're going to charge premium prices, you need to deliver what's actually on the menu. Right now, this place isn't doing that.

This halal Mexican spot has a lovely mural decor and a pleasant dining room. The staff is warm, kind and courteous...big plus! And the food was fresh. I loved LOVED the crispy taquito rolls appetizer. The Tex-Mex and Street Tacos with halal beef and halal beef chorizo with fresh cilantro, onion, tomato and with spicy salsa were quite delicious. I would recommend they offer more crunchy, crispy items as those taquitos and sauce toppings are what I'm really remembering with fondness and they were unique in the best way possible. With that in mind, the birria tacos will be what I try next. Yes! I will be back for more.

The food wasn't completely terrible, I guess it's what you expect to get in the Midwest which means it was simply mid. The "spicy" flavor was left to be found. The meat was alright. I got a burrito, my friend got birria tacos. Story of my disappointing service: I walk up to the counter & asked for an Horchata (ofc with a Spanish accent because that's how you properly pronounce it) and the lady at the counter looked at me in the most confused way possible. Immediately then I knew it was a bad place. I then proceeded to say it in an American accent only to be disappointed by the fact that they don't even have that. The most BASIC DRINK any "Mexican" place has is either Horchata and Jamaica and they have neither. I got "chile" with my burrito, but received borderline water. I am glad they're trying to make Mexican halal food, but the road to success is far away for this restaurant.
