Absolutely classy inside Very elegant and romantic atmosphere. Cleaned to perfection. We went here with our my father in law and the best mother in law ever. We started off with the humus that had just the right blend of Chickpeas, lemon flavoring , tahini, and of course that garlic. The Tabouli Salad was perfect with Finely chopped parsley, scallions, diced tomatoes, combined , cracked wheat, lemon juice, and some specialty sauce that added to the flavors. We could not figure out all the flavors though. The salad was fresh, plentiful and enjoyable to eat. I order the charbroiled lamb chops which were served medium rare and served with Habib's Signature Potato Balls and I also had the. The lamb chops left out the charbroil flavor though but were still delicious. Very moist and delicious almond rice pilaf. My wife had the Chef's Signature Tawook which is a Young chicken tenderloin marinated with chef's specialty spices, grilled to perfection and hers was grilled to perfection alright along with a very moist almond rice pilaf with plenty of almonds and those delicious potatoe balls. Now for the double disappointment. Her parents each order the Beef Shish Kabob. Dad wanted lamb but they were out ? Anyway the beef kabobs are suppose to be Marinated chunks of beef tenderloin charbroiled & cooked to order. Normally you would get two skewered of meat anywhere else . What they got was 7 small pcs of kabob chunks of meat that were fatty, Chewy and tasteless. No excuse for this but they did not complain until I asked after dinner. Adding this all up as a rating it could have been a five but because for a table of 4 spending $200 with the two dinners being terrible I rate them a two. The service by Hussein was excellent but I would like to of had a second cup of their delicious coffee. He never asked... The lamb pork chops and Beef kabobs were served at market price. Probably won't go back.

This restaurant came highly recommended to us by the front desk guy at our hotel. Sadly it fell a little short of expectations. The flavors were a little bit salty and the food preparation took a long time. By the time the food arrived we were all very ready to go back to the hotel and call it a day. Parking in the private lot as well as on the street was plentiful and service was good. Perhaps it was an off night the evening we went. Next time I would probably try other dishes and as takeout.

Went here for my bday dinner and had a party of 12. Booking the reservation was very quick and easy, no deposit required. The restaurant itself has a classy ambiance to it. We had a server named Eddy who was fabulous. He was attentive, fast, and extremely friendly to our whole party. He even let us try a free dish AND sent me delicious free cake for my birthday! The whole time my friends kept saying what a great restaurant pick this was. We all shared the "Habib's Feast" and it was such a great bang for our buck. It came with a huge variety of food, and enough for every single person to take home leftovers. I would absolutely return again and recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting a classy delicious authentically middle eastern food experience in dinner!

Our party of 4 arrived for a late lunch, and were all left incredibly impressed with food, service, and its ambiance. F O O D We ordered the following to share -- * Hummus: chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice, and garlic * Tabouli: finely chopped parsley, scallions, diced tomatoes, combined with cracked wheat, lemon juice, and specialty spices * don't recall the name of the dish but it was steak bites over rice with pine nuts topping it off? * a really huge plate of beef, chicken, and lamb cooked for a group to share (name?). It came with mixed vegetables and dipping sauces -- decadence. *. Unlimited Pita Bread S E R V I C E Our server was such a delight and took care of our table from beginning to end. He made recommendations to help us get a taste of everything that would introduce the Mediterranean cuisine without it being too overwhelming for first timers. He checked on us a few times throughout our meal and refilled our pita bread basket, and drinks with such grace. Very great first impression for me! A M B I A N C E Romantic. Traditional. Cultured. Intimate. I'm told this place is a popular choice in Dearborn for catering, parties, and large events. The space is certainly large enough to host big crowds. P.S. * ample parking as they have their own private lot * kids menu * good choice for vegetarians or vegans * arrive hungry and ready to eat!

We stopped by here because they have zabiha halal meat and the other restaurants around Dearborn could not confirm if they were zabiha or not. Pros: - good location, shahtila bakery is nearby and other stores are nearby - very clean and nice restaurant, light music. It was very peaceful and enjoyable - food was good, great sides and soup. We left very full. We ordered two entrees and total was $52 dollars it fed 4 adults with leftovers. The service was very nice, a little bit slow - we waited a lot. Overall, great place and I would definitely recommend!

WOW!! Just had a first time visit to Habib's and they did not disappoint! From the hostess's warm welcome by the fireplace to the beautiful dining area, the atmosphere was cozy and comforting. Hadi my waiter was absolutely fantastic! He was prompt, friendly and fast and made my dining experience truly memorable. He made valuable suggestions, although everything I ate was AMAZING! Fattoush Salad Lentil Soup Shish Kabob I visit the area often, however I found a new go to choice when entertaining family and friends! If I had more than two thumbs, they would all be up for Habib's

This is a nice looking place, inside and outside too. It's a banquet center too. I like the gas fireplace in the main entrance. The entryway and the main dining room area all are nicely decorated. Our waiter brought us our menu and took our order soon after. We started off with a Small hummus, a chicken Tawook lunch special and a falafel sandwich. The hummus came out in the small is quite large. I can't imagine with the large hummus would look like then. They could probably use an even smaller size, since we only need about a quarter of the hummus. The hummus was just OK, didn't have enough lemon juice for me. At least we have them warm and fresh pita bread here. The chicken tawook lunch special came out and at first I was surprised that there was a little chicken, but had to remind myself it was a lunch portion. The grilled chicken meat was decent. My colleague enjoyed his falafel sandwich.

The Fajita Sub was loaded with chicken, cheese, and toppings and was solid. The crispy bread had a satisfying crunch and the flavors were bold and tasty. Unfortunately the location in…read moreDearborn Heights just isn't somewhere I go very often so it's been stuck on my list for the longest time. They opened a second branch in East Dearborn recently which finally allowed me to give the subs a try. The restaurant itself is quite small and is mostly a takeout destination. There are only 14 seats in the small dining room, a small fridge stocked with drinks, and the order counter, from which you can see the kitchen. I went in on a very empty weekday lunch and got one item, which took about 10 minutes to come out: Lebanese Sub, Half ($8.99) - They toast this sub well, resulting in a very nice crunch on the exterior. Just be careful eating it - you can pretty easily lacerate your gums if you're not careful! The interior is moist for the most part, with a bit of a mild garlic and mayo mixture that covers all the ingredients. There's a double layer of grilled chicken breast that forms a base layer, followed by some fries that are crunchy on the exterior and fluffy on the interior, and finally a layer of crunchy and acidic pickles. The chicken is the weakest part of the dish - some pieces are overcooked, dry, and tough. It's most noticeable in the thickest areas where there's not enough mayo/garlic to add moisture to the sandwich. Still, overall I found the sub to be good and the ingredients all complemented each other well. Note: The little red tray that they served the sub in smelled heavily of bleach and my first couple of bites had a slight whiff of bleach thanks to that. If you eat here, I would recommend removing the food from the tray before eating. Zaghloul Subs is definitely worth a try.

Everything about the Philly was very good, but the bread roll really stood out to me...it was super soft & fresh but had a perfect, golden, thin, crispy crust on the exterior holding everything in place and giving just the right amount of crunch to every bite. It held up to the steamy steak and cheese like a champ without getting soggy, Solid sub. And this beast is big; half is enough to satiate almost any hungry appetite. I got mine to go, but the inside is bright & spacious with a ton of seating (but parking can be a challenge). This might also be one of the cleanest sub shops I've ever visited...absolutely spotless when I was there. While in the shop, I also got the pleasure of meeting Mike, who said he bought the place from Ricky a few years back. Mike seems to be a great dude who loves what he does and takes pride in his craft. He hooked me up with a sample of the red pepper relish, showed me what kind they use, and even told me where to buy it in bulk! He also shared some of their in-house Cajun seasoning, which was pretty tasty. Before I left, he gave me a heads up to be sure to hit Dearborn Sweets next door, and even some top selections to try (FWIW....he was right). I can't wait to come back and try some of their other subs! Shoutout and thanks to Mike for making it a great first visit!

Side Chic's avoids this completely by having a nice layer of breading that adds flavor and doesn't distract from the chicken. The chicken itself is hot, juicy and well textured. The variety of that alone is also impressive. I sometimes forget that this is also a regular grocery store. The produce is high quality, and nicely priced. With all the phenomenal middle eastern things here, I'm strangely disappointed that they also have boring things like Froot Loops, Ragu pasta sauce, and other mundane things.
