We were in Canton for a theater marathon and needed a place for dinner. Yelp ratings suggested this place, and they were absolutely right. Everything tastes great (and I'm Lebanese, so I know.) Portions are very generous (I took half of mine home), and the gracious man in charge gave us pastries at the end of the meal. Even though it's quite a hike from our house, I'm pretty certain we'll be back. And I was promised that soon they'll offer caffeine-free diet pop, now that it's lack has been pointed out to them. The food at this new establishment is yummy. I ordered the spicy chicken rice bowl which is enough for two meals or two people can split it. The chicken is seasoned so well and its juicy and moist. I also had the beef shawarma salad and they put the beef in a seperate foil pack. The vegetables on the salad were fresh and delicious. This will be a regular stop for me. read more

Hand's down, Levant kitchen has the best shawarma sandwiches I've ever eaten. Their sauce and chicken seasoning is uniquely delicious. The portion sizes are are worth the money and they're all decently priced. We had the chicken shawarma sandwiches, mixed shawarma bowl, and the grilled kafta. Our favorite was the bowl-a mix of rice, veggies, and meat, all spiced to perfection. As far as covid precautions, they had plexi glasses in place, hand sanitizer at the front, chairs spaced out 6ft for people to wait at, and all the staff had masks on. It's tough to find great shawarma, especially after trying it in the middle east. Levant has the best chicken shawarma in Michigan, and I've tried many of the popular places in Dearborn. The beef shawarma is also great. The beef or chicken shawarma have a lot of flavor and a good amount of quality meat. I recommend the chicken shawarma with fries and no lettuce (lettuce should never be in a shawarma lol). The fried kibbe kabobs were also amazing and I highly recommend them. The falafel were not good and would not get them again, they were too dense and were not crispy. read more

VERY generous portion sizes for the prices! Very tasty food. I had the Shish Kafta hummus bowl with lettuce, tomatoes, onions, cucumber, pickled turnips, Parsley, garlic & Baba Ghanoush. My brother got a chicken schawarma wrap which was also very large for the price. I also ordered a small garlic sauce and it was enormous! I'm pretty sure it was an actual "Small" by their standards though because my side order of Baba Ghanoush (small) was the same size. It was like an 8 oz container. Other restaurants version of a Small Garlic Sauce is like one of those 2 oz little soy sauce or ketchup containers. Compared to all the other Mediterranean/Middle Eastern food places I've been this place seems to have the largest portion size to price ratio - I would highly recommend! read more

I ordered the chicken shawarma bowel which was enough for two people. This was my first time going there. I found them on yelp and read the reviews which convinced me to try them. I'm glad I did. I had the spicy chicken bowel with a bed of rice and salad. It comes with fresh pita bread as well so you can make your on shawarma sandwich with Greek salad dressing, garlic butter and another dressing which I not familiar with. All and I want to say it didn't disappoint. The only suggestion I have for them is to offer two of each salad dressing, garlic butter and the other dressing because it's a big deep bowel and I don't like dry salads. Very flavorful beef and chicken, salad was fresh, and garlic sauce did not have a strong garlic presence (good if you have to work later). I met a former colleague in Canton and selected Levant Kitchen because of their high rating on Yelp. It did not steer me wrong! Levant Kitchen is located in a little spot of a strip and doesn't have tons of space inside. don't let this deter you though. The value of their menu items is very well worth it. I got a $6 chicken shawarma and it was about the size of a footlong sub. We each ordered a side of hummus and the (owner?) gentlemen helping us recommended we only get one due to the size. The honesty in and of itself gets you an extra star. I've worked in Dearborn for 5 years now where there is a large variety of authentic Mediterranean food, and Levant Kitchen is the best I've had. Enjoyed the spice and easy selection/removal of toppings on their website. the different sauces I selected were pretty good and i also unknowingly got baklava with my order. Excellent start to a middle eastern concept. You get extremely large portions. The sandwiches are $6 and could easily be double same with the salads. It is in a small strip mall and there are only a handful of tables. But the food quality is awesome! Definitely try this place out if you are in canton and craving middle eastern.
