Jedi Master Dr Franco is absolutely amazing!…read more Appointments are easy to schedule and the doctor is even very responsive via his website contact form. The website isn't just for show, him (his office) actually use it. Even though I'm not a young millennial that needs to do all my business via tech I am a tech nerd so millennials will find the website very useful. Office is a beautiful small one story building with parking in the back. During the pandemic the office provides face masks at reception if you happen to be a Karen and conveniently forget your mask. Office also provides hand sanitizer during these trying times in an effort to protect patients. Exam room is very large, spacious and equipped with the finest eye tech for our modern time. Jedi Master Dr Franco is absolutely amazing in his empathy for his patients. If eye glasses are required the office is equipped with a beautifully elegant room with eye glass frames displayed on multiple walls where you can indulge in picking your new look (upgrade or otherwise). If you are in the area and in need of a great optometrist this office is significantly better than any of the franchise eye centers you find at the mall. Don't shop retail but instead shop premium with Dr. Rossi. They also take vision insurance so call ahead if you have insurance.

I was seen at the appointed time. The technician, I don't recall her name, she asked a few questions and took notes, and began the preliminary procedures for the doctor. Sanitizing the equipment and wearing PPE. The opthamologist, Dr. Scheer, came into the examination room a few minutes after the technician was finished. The Dr continued with certain tests and measurements. Then went over the prognosis, suggesting corrective procedures to be done in the near future. I feel I was with the doctor, a sufficient amount of time; informed of what was to be done and a follow up appointment made next month. The office runs in a very efficient manner. They are considerate of the patient's time, informing the patient, in plain English, what the condition is, the prognosis, and treatment, if needed, The front office submits Medicare approved amounts for treatments, as well as Blue Cross/ Blue Shield, Anthem medical Coverage. Some patients may have copay's depending on their plan. It's a joy, and relief to be able to see an operation that runs smoothly and efficiently.

Once you check in with the front desk, the wait is very reasonable. TIP: make sure every time you check in you update or confirm your medical insurance information.

the \sh!ts!!! i got an "eye exam" by someone who didnt know opthamology from a hole in the wall,…read moredoubt she's even any level of eye specialist. one week later i'm told my glasses were in, the whole sh!tshow cost me $50 for $$store frames & ret@rded $150 "prism" lenses. i try them on & look straight ahead, i see double. i look to the side & see a ghey ra!nbow, likely the prism cr@p, which makes my eyes see sa totally distorted image. what person in their right mind wants a reflection of a rainbow of all things on their lenses?? its cosmetically inappropriate, pushing s0me agenda of lifestyle or whatever, and likely can f***ck up your eyes. i'm nearsighted, i need glasses to drive. wtf was this "eye expert" thinking?? they wasted my time w/the exam, was the 1st time ever after an eye test the script was totally off, got a standard script of nearsighted glasses from zenni & can see perfectly out of them,...for $38. f**ck these scammers. they didn't refund the eye test... as a result wal mart lost my business too. dont hire peeps who aren't qualified to give eye exams like @ wm vision fishkill... she had no idea wtf she was doing, was a hodgepodge of both the good & bad of the lenses i looked through, and got my focal distance incorrect!! d!v0theads!! zenni is 1k better than this place!!!

The best and quickest eye appointment ever!…read more I've been wearing glasses/contacts since forever and I've had different eye doctors from moving around. It's hard sometimes for them to get you the "right" prescription and even for them to just be "normal". Well. Let me tell you about my experience at the vision center. I desperately needed new contacts and new glasses since my prescription changed and it had been 2 years since I last saw the eye doctor. I tried to push it off after covid was over but I was unable to. I needed to be seen! Booking with Walmart had me a little skeptical at first especially with all going on. I decided to still give it a try and booked an appointment 2 weeks out. Upon arriving , everything's closed off and only by appointment. They immediately do a temperature check and then let you in. Only one person per household. Everything gets disinfected and everyone's wearing masks. They make you fill out a covid survey to see if you or anyone around you has had covid. After all the sanitary checks, they quickly take you to get your eyes measured in the little machine. Moments later Dr Carpenter was already seeing me. I ABSOLUTELY loved her. She was so down to earth and real. Had short conversation but cool enough to not make it awkward. The Dr had me in and out in less than 15 minutes and absolutely nailed my new eye prescription! Seriously loved this vision center, the staff and Dr Carpenter. I hope they keep their customer service and sanitizing going post covid.
