My husband and I had seen several other optometrists prior, and none ever took the time that he does to perform eye exams and get it all exactly right. He strives for perfection. Penny is great in managing everything from making you feel welcome, checking eye pressure, measuring for frames, providing information about and handling insurances and managing paperwork and everything else in the office, we patients don't even realize, behind the scenes. Despite being busied with phone calls at the front desk, staff were very kind, and the optician herself came out to help myself and others waiting. She was so sweet!! Switched out my nose pad in less than a minute and offered to tune up the frame as well since the arms were loose. I wish I'd shown a bit more gratitude in person as that was an absolute life saver since I'm dealing with finals right now, making working glasses pretty important! Howeverrrr, I'm also very sick and low on energy at the moment so I don't think I showed half the appreciation I'd meant to. Hoping this review makes up for that! They go above and beyond ensuring excellence. Recently, Connie actually consulted with a local jeweler to ensure my glasses were properly fixed. There is a new optometrist who supplements Dr. Descovich's busy workload. He is also excellent and used a process to clean the bases of my eyelashes and I no longer have burning itchy eyes in the evening. I *think* it was called Zest but not 100% positive. Just ask...you'll be very pleased. I will have this done on an annual basis I believe. They can actually check to assess the extent to which this issue is problematic and the procedure only takes about ten minutes. So worth it to have eyes that aren't burning and itchy! Brion has been incredibly patient, professional, diligent, and meticulous with me and in helping me get the proper glasses and tools for me to function and live my life. With a frame valued at up to $250. Anybody who has had to practically take out a loan to afford progressive lenses will appreciate this offer. My last pair of progressives with a just OK frame set me back over $900. So this time, I was able to get two pair plus a pair of prescription sunglasses for just a few hundred dollars more including an upgrade to better frames. You won't find high-end designer frames here like Prada or Boss or Versace, etc. but the frames are good quality and according to my 20 something, Daughter look very stylish. Less than a year later the other arm broke. I complained that I already paid close to 1/2 the original price for the repair of the first broken arm. Sales woman had the audacity to say 'It was not 1/2 but a 1/4.' If she wanted to be precise it was 1/3. Now she wanted another $200 for the repair so I just walked out. The place is taking advantages of the mostly senior citizens clientele. DO NOT SHOP THERE.
