Ive been complaining about an issue for some time now and im always told "youre retinas are fine, nothing more we can do" I had an eye exam by Dr. Nathanson at Luxe that revealed i did in fact, have a serious issue. He was very thorough, took his time with me and listened to me descibe what i was seeing. Im so grateful, moving forward, the eye requires a serious surgery. Heather was my initial experience at Luxe. She helped me navigate the different lenses they offer and explained in detail how each one would provide a slightly different view. Not a pushy salesperson, a delight to work with. The customer service at Luxe is outstanding from the moment you enter. The exam is state of the art. He explains every step and provides care with kindness and compassion. You are not just a number in this office. You are seen as a person and you are not rushed. Dr. Collins takes his time providing your eye care, which is appreciated. He has been our optometrist for over 20 years. My husband and I had seen several other optometrists prior, and none ever took the time that he does to perform eye exams and get it all exactly right. He strives for perfection. Penny is great in managing everything from making you feel welcome, checking eye pressure, measuring for frames, providing information about and handling insurances and managing paperwork and everything else in the office, we patients don't even realize, behind the scenes. Since then, Heather of Sterling Optical notified me she had the bushings needed to fix my eyeglasses. She personally took the trouble to get the bushings from another Sterling Optical outlet. She arranged a time for me to meet with a technician named Robert who politely repaired my glasses, putting them in perfect order. All is now well. Newburgh Sterling Optical rocks !

I wasn't cleaning them. I was literally just sitting reading and the lens popped out and dropped into my lap. Zero communication, ridiculous wait time, and a totally substandard product. Never again. Dr. Powell adroitly fitted me with a scleral lens. Today I can see 20-25 (and 2 letters on the 20-20 line), almost perfect with my left eye! Moreover, Dr. Powell treated me with kindness, compassion and professionalism. She took the time to answer all of my questions and concerns. I always felt at ease when in her care. She also has a good sense of humor. It's because of Dr. Powell that I have my vision back; needless to say I am eternally grateful to her.
