He was very thorough, took his time with me and listened to me descibe what i was seeing. Im so grateful, moving forward, the eye requires a serious surgery. Heather was my initial experience at Luxe. She helped me navigate the different lenses they offer and explained in detail how each one would provide a slightly different view. Dr. Powell adroitly fitted me with a scleral lens. Today I can see 20-25 (and 2 letters on the 20-20 line), almost perfect with my left eye! Moreover, Dr. Powell treated me with kindness, compassion and professionalism. She took the time to answer all of my questions and concerns. I always felt at ease when in her care. She also has a good sense of humor. It's because of Dr. Powell that I have my vision back; needless to say I am eternally grateful to her. Had to call multiple times, only to be told to "give it another week or so". Finally got the glasses on January 8th. I didn't have them a full 12 hours, AND THE LENS FALLS OUT. They weren't dropped. I wasn't cleaning them. I was literally just sitting reading and the lens popped out and dropped into my lap. Zero communication, ridiculous wait time, and a totally substandard product. Never again. I will discourage anyone I know from wasting their time and money at this business.
