WORST MEDICAL OFFICE EXPERIENCE EVER ! I have worked in healthcare my whole life. VERY RUDE…read moreFRONT DESK STAFF AND TECHNICIAN. Waited almost two hours for the first appointment. When I mentioned that was a little excessive, I was told "you can wait up to 3 hours, just so you know ". Gave them the benefit of the doubt and made our second appointment. At the second appointment the wait time was not bad; 40 minutes. At the third appointment, we waited 2 1/2 hours to be told there were still a "few patients before us". We were expressing our displeasure with the front office staff, when the technician came from the back, interjected and told us very rudely to sit down. My husband told her he was not speaking with her and asked who she was, and she indicated "I'm the person that will be injecting your eye, go sit down." Needless to say, we got his records and walked out. While Dr. Koreen has excellent credentials and is most likely an excellent physician, it is not worth the stress and aggravation of dealing with his HIGHLY RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL STAFF and, obviously, will never go back there again.

First visit was not pleasant since we waiting almost 2 hours to be seen. When I questioned the front desk I was told " you could wait three hours. Take a seat and we'll call you when it's your turn. Dr Koreen did give a very thorough exam and explained my husbands condition. Gave them the benefit of the doubt and went to the second appointment. Wait time wasn't to terrible . Went to third appointment today. Waited two and a half hours and went to front desk to see how much longer and they indicated there were still a few people in front of us . My husband and I were explaining our frustration with waiting when the technician happened to come by and told us "take a seat ". When my husband questioned who she was since we weren't speaking her she said "I'll be the one injecting your eye. Take a seat ". Needless to say we requested his records and left. I have been in the healthcare business for 40+ years and never experienced such a rude, unprofessional office. Dr Koreen has impressive credentials and is most likely a wonderful physician but due to his horrible office staff we will never know

As a type 1 diabetic for 40 yrs my vision has suffered. Ive had several eye surgeries and ive been seeing the same retina specialist for many years. Ive been complaining about an issue for some time now and im always told "youre retinas are fine, nothing more we can do" I had an eye exam by Dr. Nathanson at Luxe that revealed i did in fact, have a serious issue. He was very thorough, took his time with me and listened to me descibe what i was seeing. Im so grateful, moving forward, the eye requires a serious surgery. Heather was my initial experience at Luxe. She helped me navigate the different lenses they offer and explained in detail how each one would provide a slightly different view. Not a pushy salesperson, a delight to work with. The customer service at Luxe is outstanding from the moment you enter. The exam is state of the art. A classy store with very reasonable pricing and top tier employees!! 20/10 recommend.!!!

i was blown away by my experience at luxe optique! i stopped in because i was looking for some…read morereading glasses but didn't know where to start since i'd never worn glasses before. mikey was incredibly helpful and was able to fit me in for an eye exam with their on-site optometrist on the spot. he was very knowledgeable, transparent and clear about pricing, and a pleasure to speak with. in less than an hour i walked out with a new prescription and a brand new pair of glasses on the way to my apartment in brooklyn where i live. can't recommend enough!
