With no spare glasses in tow and not enough time to get a new pair shipped in, I would have to walk around with ridiculously lopsided frames. Robert examined my glasses and miraculously found an old pair of the same frame (this is a somewhat rare, German frame) in the back of the shop and took that temple and attached it to my glasses. He saved my sight and my trip. His quick thinking, resourcefulness, and customer service were just remarkable. This shop has "big city" style in terms of its frame selection but small town kindness and care. It is truly one of a kind. I can't wait to return to shop for new frames, and I hope Robert will be available to guide me through the excellent and wide selection of styles.

Despite being busied with phone calls at the front desk, staff were very kind, and the optician herself came out to help myself and others waiting. She was so sweet!! Switched out my nose pad in less than a minute and offered to tune up the frame as well since the arms were loose. I wish I'd shown a bit more gratitude in person as that was an absolute life saver since I'm dealing with finals right now, making working glasses pretty important! Howeverrrr, I'm also very sick and low on energy at the moment so I don't think I showed half the appreciation I'd meant to. Hoping this review makes up for that! They go above and beyond ensuring excellence. Recently, Connie actually consulted with a local jeweler to ensure my glasses were properly fixed. There is a new optometrist who supplements Dr. Descovich's busy workload. He is also excellent and used a process to clean the bases of my eyelashes and I no longer have burning itchy eyes in the evening. I *think* it was called Zest but not 100% positive. Just ask...you'll be very pleased. I will have this done on an annual basis I believe. They can actually check to assess the extent to which this issue is problematic and the procedure only takes about ten minutes. So worth it to have eyes that aren't burning and itchy! I hope you take the time to visit this shop as they have some rather unique frames for sale as well.

After years of just accepting my vision was as good as it could be and my prescription was what it…read morewas ,I decided to seek out an eye glass store that specialized in progressive lenses. As a type 1 diabetic for 40 yrs my vision has suffered. Ive had several eye surgeries and ive been seeing the same retina specialist for many years. Ive been complaining about an issue for some time now and im always told "youre retinas are fine, nothing more we can do" I had an eye exam by Dr. Nathanson at Luxe that revealed i did in fact, have a serious issue. He was very thorough, took his time with me and listened to me descibe what i was seeing. Im so grateful, moving forward, the eye requires a serious surgery. Heather was my initial experience at Luxe. She helped me navigate the different lenses they offer and explained in detail how each one would provide a slightly different view. Not a pushy salesperson, a delight to work with. The customer service at Luxe is outstanding from the moment you enter. The exam is state of the art. A classy store with very reasonable pricing and top tier employees!! 20/10 recommend.!!!
