Shout out to Lenny in the paint department. I came into the store on a Thursday morning just before 8 AM cause I was walking through the paint department. Lenny warmly welcomed to me and asked if I needed help finding anything. As a matter of fact, I did. I explained to him that I was looking to paint my wood porch for my cabin and asked him what kind of paint stripper he would recommend based on the description of my porch and dimensions. He knew exactly what item to recommend, which was a gallon of Jasco paint remover. I graciously thanked Lenny for his help and he even removed his glove for a proper handshake. As I was heading to check out, I ran into a friend. As we were getting to the checkout together, the young man and the lady who were assisting with the self check out, both approached my friend for assistance. My husband and I stopped by Home Depot to pick out a Christmas tree, and we had the absolute pleasure of being helped by Crystal. She was incredibly friendly, kind, and patient, and truly went above and beyond to make our experience wonderful. We've always gotten fresh-cut trees every year, but this was our first time switching to an artificial one - and Crystal made the process so easy and enjoyable! She took the time to show us different options, answered all of our questions, and helped us pick the perfect tree for our home. I rented a large dehumidifier from this location. The first man who helped me was very kind. Even though the machine was wet with a lot of water leaking, he was helpful and kind. However when I returned the large machine, there was a different man who helped me. He was very rude and told me to empty the tubing in the parking lot at 100 degrees or he would charge me the price of the machine. There was probably like less than 1/4 cup of water in the tubing. I stretched the 20 foot tubing out in the 100 degree asphalt. Mind you now I am a small 115 pound woman. He never offered to help me. When I was done he rudely came out and grabbed the machine, no thank you, no eye contact, nothing. He didn't even say I was getting my deposit back. Next time I'm going to Lowe's. read more

I wanted to rate and briefly mention the legendary service, and outstanding experience I recently had at this store (REDLANDS #8987), in the Blinds/Window Treatments section, with their associate SUHUEI QUINONES. She was the best!! She was so helpful and knowledgeable about the various products, and really took a lot of time with us, in finding what we were looking for. No pressure, no rush, and she was invaluable in terms of explaining what measurements to take, etc. Lastly, when there was a small unrelated snafu in getting the products initially shipped out, she was on the ball and calling us, when she said she would, with updates and information--so that was awesome and very appreciated. THANKS AGAIN SUHUEI ! ;) As for the rest of goings-on down there at that store, I think it seems rather fine, I don't really know. read more

The garden checkout was so crammed we went inside only to find out it's all self-checkout with only one over-worked employee anywhere to be seen. We'll NEVER use self-checkout - machines designed to put humans out of work. Seems this pos store has found a way to really reduce humans as employees and that doesn't work for us. I had an issue with our water heater and called to see if it was under warranty. Rose was the one I spoke to and was super kind and helpful! The next day we brought the water heater in, and we where helped by Nan! She went above and beyond for us her and her manager Sandy work together to resolve the issues my husband and I were having! Customer service is not good. I am a young 26 year old girl with no father in the home and went here to purchase products for our yard project. We live in a mobile home and get frequent notices for lawn care so now that I have some extra money I am working on our yard. I came here expecting customer service to answer some of my sizing questions and maybe give me some advice from a man's perspective given my situation and the guy Fernando was so rude. It seems like he was just trying to push me off to the garden department and didn't want to deal with me. Funny because he was literally placed in the customer service area. We recently came to Home Depot to find a particular plunger that has always worked for us. We walked around and looked down a few aisles trying to find it. Then this worker Dean approached us and asked if we needed help locating anything. Not only did he walk us directly to the aisle, he also made sure we found the specific one we wanted. Located on the corner of Tennessee and Lugonia. There's plenty of parking available. We came by first looking for a good deal on a refrigerator, washer and dryer. We finally decided on their LG brands for all three. We're quite satisfied at the prices compared to other stores that we've been shopping at. We loved that they offered delivery and installation for their appliances. We truly loved the customer service by the lady who works in this department. I generally shop Lowes in Redlands, however, when I recently needed window covering my friend, talked me into Home depo. I was so happy he did that my sales person SUHOY was so helpful explaining helping me make decision. I've never had this experience at Lowes. At Lowe's, they make you feel like "buy and leave hurry up I'm not here to help you" and I'm just so used to that I never expected more. My dad went to Home Depot yesterday and was looking for a specific space heater. He could not find it, he asked for help, and they told them all they had was what was out on the floor. He came home, my mom sent him back and I went with him. Same thing. We couldn't find the space heater, so I asked for help. The employees refused to walk over with us and help us find the space heater. I finally asked, "it says you have 40 in stock. What would happen if I went on my phone and clicked order for pickup?" The employee just looked at me and laughed and said, "I guess we'd have to find it. Wouldn't we." Then why not walk over with me and help me find it now? Why make me have to order it for pickup to get any help from you. Poor customer service. Also, they had 5 people assisting 5 self check out lines. What's the point? MISLEADING signage and A rude employee. Lizette Gomez was very unprofessional. After calling the manager for another employee who had no idea how to explain to us why these items were not 30% off, Lizette came over and said "it's on selected items". I said " well, then just cancel the whole order because I only need the one item." She did ask me if I want another basket to take the items and put them in the cart.. I said "absolutely not, I had already removed them from our cart, so, she through the items in the cart herself. Every word written is in BOLD except the words "select items". I wear glasses, and from a distance did not see it. She did ask my husband to put the big box somewhere where she wanted it.. my husband said no I'm only handling this once, I told her you have other employees that can help. She then said that she was a little girl and couldn't do it herself even though there were two other employees standing right next to her. Silly, she could've easily pushed the already damaged box out-of-the-way all by herself. It was a late night and this young lady was just rude. We shop here because it's convenient. We are doing a major remodel and will need at least 8 new appliances. I was really disappointed this morning. There were at least 8 employees seated or talking in the area. I was not greeted by a single one. I was not offered assistance. I sought out help. The unit I was interested in was discontinued. The employee did not bother to see if the newer model was available. I searched by myself and indeed found it on display.
