8 year update: Paint is still going strong. Washed a few times due to dirty hands (why do kids love to run their hands along the walls so much?), But the paint still looks fantastic afterwords. During the Covid-19 pandemic i broke down and bought some paint for a bathroom at Lowes. Bought the highest quality they had, and still needed two coats to get coverage. Benjamin Moore only needed a single coat (talk about time and money savings!) and has been holding up great. read more

So I recently decided to start working on my sports room, and the first thing I had to have done was get my autorgraphed jerseys professionally framed. I had two basketball jerseys and one football jersey, all of which have I have extreme personal attachments too, so I have been really picky on who would be framing them. After talking to the owner, David, who has been doing professional framing of sports items for 30+ years, I felt very comfortable having him do the work...and I am extremely please with the outcome!! While I can't share details of a purchase because I was unable to complete one, I can share details of my experience with Redlands Paint. The Redlands Paint website indicates their store hours on Saturdays are 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. My husband arrived to their locked front door at 11:50 a.m. A sign taped to the front door indicates the store is open from 7:00 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturdays. Someone actually opened the door to tell my husband the store was closed but that he (the employee) would be there at 5:30 a.m. Monday morning. It's almost comical, had we not taken the time to drive down from upper Yucaipa to purchase paint. It has been my experience that a business's customer service in one instance is reflective of their service across the board. I probably will not patronize this business in the future based on today's experience. My suggestion to Redlands paint: Update your business hours online and correct your door sign to indicate, 'Hours: at our leisure.' read more

Too bad we can't put a NEGATIVE star rating!! The clerk was beyond rude and disrespectful! We went in to look for and buy paint. The clerk was quick to say we need masks to enter. No problem, we totally understand and respect that requirement. We went to the car and came back only to be ignored. While the clerk was carrying on what sounded like personal conversations with a friend at the counter, he never made an attempt to offer assistance. After a lengthy time, we waited at the counter to request our selected paint color mix. The rude disrespectful clerk would not even acknowledge our existence. He and his "buddy" continued chatting away. We didn't even get an, "I'll be with you shortly" or even an "Eff You". We got nothing. His personal conversation was more important than a paying customer. I'm not talking a few minutes which seem longer than they really are. I'm talking SEVERAL DISRESPECTFUL MINUTES OF PURE RUDENESS! We believe in shopping local and at small businesses, but this rude disrespectful clerk ruins it! We walked out after a long time of being ignored! No customer service. I dropped off a sample to match and the guy said it would be five days. I thought it was long but I'm trying to support local businesses during this time. I showed up 9 days later and the same guy told me they hadn't started it yet. They should have picked up the phone to let me know. read more

Staff on facebook are highly unprofessional, very rude and condescending on facebook. When you don't agree with the individual running the page, they leave unprofessional comments and argue with you. They don't know how to act appropriately or give good customer service. Highly doubt if they give good business practices if they are so rude and distasteful just on social media communications! read more

They can't seem to take a message. Maybe I'm just cranky, but I tried twice today to talk to them about framing. The first time, I was transferred to a phone that kept ringing but did not connect to even a voicemail or transfer me back to a human. The second time, I was told that the person was unavailable. Pause. Pause. Pause. Finally: "Did you want to call back?" Um, no. I want someone to at least pretend they care about my business. Offer to TAKE a message; don't offer me a tip for how to schedule my day. I really want to give my business to local stores, but really? read more

Redlands Paint have all the supplies you need but the person at the counter acted annoyed with basic questions I had about the types of rollers to use for my project. High quality products with low quality customer service equals no revisits for me. I can find these products somewhere else. read more

These guys were so helpful. I made multiple trips when painting our whole house and they gave great color and finish suggestions. They got the paint ready very quickly as well. Highly recommended! Had to go to Home Depot one day when they were closed and it was a nightmare in comparison. read more

Redlands Paint Store is the very best for Benjamin Moore Paint. It is truely the very best you can buy, It goes on like cream and looks so nice when job is compleated, this is first class paint. Everyone working there are very helpful, they know what and how to do it the right way. That will save you alot of time and money. I came in initially to get an estimate on a very old, large map that I wanted framed. Lisa was extremely helpful and had a great eye for picking out an appropriate frame and mat that would look good with my map. She wrote up the estimate and I took it with me to shop around because I had no idea how much custom framing for such a large object would be (46"x33"); I was hesitant to commit to framing it there because the estimate was more than I had wanted to pay initially. I went to Aaron Bros. and was extremely disappointed in the quality of the frames and the lack of assistance I received at the custom counter (the price was roughly the same). I went back to Redlands Paint the next week, told Lisa I wanted to try to find a frame that was half the cost, and she was able to find the exact same frame we had originally chosen but in a smaller thickness. I appreciated that she didn't seem to judge me for wanting to bring the cost down. What really impressed me was that I mentioned that I would love to have the frame by a certain date (less than two weeks), and she and Dave (who does the actual framing) were able to do so for me, without charging me extra. I am so thrilled with the final product and strongly recommend them for custom frame work! read more

I have used the folks at Redlands Paint Store, for all of my Interior and exterior home decorating needs. This old house has been due for a facelift. To save money I am doing much of the work myself. I am always impressed with how knowledgeable they are. This type of knowledge, can only be gained by having years of experience. From Helping me understand how to prep a surface or repair a crack, to adding a subtle accent wall. All of my projects have been elevated by following their advice. I've bought from the local big stores, but I get better quality products and service from Redlands Paint. I think they said "3rd Generation Business!" I have also used them for Framing... Dave is an artist. I never realized how "framing" could enhance the overall look of my "piece" as well as- the room. These guys are the best! read more
