Sent a message to George about a certain time to stop by and he responded back quickly that it was fine that afternoon. I stopped by to have the lawn mower blade that had not been sharpened yet. George was helpful to ask if I needed help taking the mower out from the car. It was not necessary as it was light, especially without the battery. The cost was very reasonable at a cost of a Venti or large frappe and provided a tip as well. I will have my other larger mower and the shears sharpened the next time I'm in town. read more

I don't recommend to take your lawn equipment here they over charge too much I took my lawn mower all it needed was one belt and they charge me $600!! Took my lawnmower to Jesters and all it needed was carburetor. Charged me $150.00 and when I got it home was running the same way. Carburetor problems continued. Bought a carburetor on Amazon for $10.00 and installed it myself fired up on the 1st pull. Jesters over priced parts and labor and still my lawnmower wasn't running properly. I bought a very reasonably priced used mower at Jester's two weeks ago. The mower started fine, but due to a mistake I made, it kept dying. Mark was extremely nice about it and fixed the problem even though it wasn't his fault. Update: May 18th, 2022. I just mowed my lawn with an ancient mower that I had given up for dead. The nice and knowledgeable guys at Jester's installed a re-built carburetor, sharpened the blade, and replaced the little rubber thing that gets pushed 3 times before starting. Very liable and upfront about the condition of your equipment, suggesting the care of your equipment, such as the type of fuel and oil to use and repair pricing is reasonable. Service was done faster then they estimated, I was given complete information on the problem, and how they'd fix it, and an estimate. We greatly appreciate Mark. We just bought about 2 acres and the yard work can get out of hand. We needed a ride along mower, hedge trimmers and blower. We thought we were going to have to finance everything from Home Depot. Mark sold us used everything and saved us a fortune. I don't know which brands they were, I guess my husband should've wrote the review because he does. I have been looking for a lawn and garden tool equipment repair shop in the greater Inland Empire area for quite some time; and believe me when I tell you - I found it! Jester's has been around for quite some time, I just haven't been looking in the right places. I've been to several of these shops in the area - you know who they are. One shop on Redlands Blvd in LL couldn't fix a fundamental governor problem with my Toro lawnmower. One visit to Jester's and my 30-year-old Toro TV 5002 self-propelled mower is purring along in as good a shape as the day I bought it. I ended up taking my Echo weed-eater and blower to this shop with gas leaks and difficult starting issues; gas leaks are solved and each of them starts on the first or second pull. When I returned to pick my equipment up, the mechanic explained what was wrong, showed me the replaced parts AND started each motor up to confirm everything was working as expected. Another bonus; I took my equipment in at around 10a during the week and everything was done by 1p, at a very reasonable price. This shop has quality mechanics, skilled at repairing virtually any make and model, focused on service and customer satisfaction; at a fair price. That combination is hard to find in the 21st Century. read more

After being told that I might as well throw away my little Honda tiller and buy a new one and that my John Deere mower was too old to find parts for, I didn't have much hope that I'd have any better luck here. I was wrong! Both machines are up and running wonderfully and at a very reasonable price! Great customer service and I really appreciated that he was willing to "make things work" finding parts that would fit my older mower rather than just telling me to toss it. Stopped by near the holidays to have my lawn mower tuned up. Was able to drop it off a few days before Christmas Eve and pick up within a reasonable amount of time. I believe I would have had it sooner, had it not been the shop was closed Thursday-Sunday in observance of Christmas. Lawn mower runs like new, and the price was reasonable! A little over $60 for a new air filter, oil changes, tune up, and new blade. I would have rated them 5 stars, but I had to call concerning the diagnosis when I was assured they'd call me the following day. Will definitely refer others to them. read more
