I love gyros and been wanting to try The Halal Guys. Went on a friday night around 7pm, and it was basically empty. Only 2 customers inside. The setup is like chipotle, you choose what bowl you want and toppings. I got the small gyro bowl with peppers and onions. I feel like the rice to gyro portion was 2x. The white sauce is pretty tasty. For the price, it's not bad. Inside was pretty clean. Small ish place but good enough seating.

I had high expectations eating here but the second time eating here and never again. They skimp on portion. Looks like they gave me small platter when I ordered a regular. Save your money they barely give you anything.

Been to NYC so many times but avoided the super long lines at their spots in midtown but now I'm so happy they've opened up this shop in Seatown! We had the regular platter (think Chipotle style but better) with chicken and all the fixings plus the pita bread, a warm filled pita with chicken and all the fixings plus a side of six piece falafel and fries. The food was yummy and filling. We also got dessert of honey soaked baklava, baklava cheesecake, and baklava chocolate cheesecake. The ambiance is a simple setting with tables and chairs and nice open air window.

Halal guys is always good! Just wish they toasted the pita a bit more and also cut the lettuce thinner

I used to go to halal guys all the time back when I lived in Atlanta, so I'm shocked I haven't gone to this location two blocks from my work until now! But super happy I did! I went for lunch in a Wednesday, around 12:45 pm. Several people were in there eating, but not crowded at all. The restaurant itself is quite small, some seating, but comfortable. On a nice day it is a great area to eat outside. No one was in line so I was immediately able to order, and food was prepped quickly. I saw they were out of the baklava cheesecake in the front so I asked, and was told they only have chocolate, which I was happy to try! The worker also just started frying up a fresh batch of fries so we definitely had to get some. Overall the workers were very nice, offering sauces, ketchup, and salting the fries to our preference! And the food itself was great. Chicken well cooked and flavorful, rice also well cooked, and of course I love the white and red sauces. The fries were really great, especially with how fresh they were. I also thoroughly enjoyed the cheesecake! This will definitely be another one of my regular lunch stops!

Great food for the price! Service was super quick & workers were helpful. Would recommend for quick Mediterranean in Seattle!

Absolutely clutch, the food is always fresh! The quality is beyond expectations! Have you had the white sauce? And dabbled into the hot sauce they have? AND YOU DAB! Service hooks it up. Definitely not shy on the portions. Everything is so clean and well kept, what a great healthy combination. Halal for gainz! Met the business owner once or twice , super humbling and hospitality was what every small business needs to be! Thank You Halal guys!

Overhyped and nothing special. I've heard a lot about Halal Guys and how popular they are in NYC, and I never knew there was a location in Seattle until earlier this year. So with all the hype out there I had to check it out. Ordered myself the small Beef Gyro Platter which was about $10.99 for the bowl. I also asked for extra of the white sauce since it's apparently an iconic part of the experience. The food itself was just okay, I was hoping it would be warmer but the meat was kind of just room-temperature? The white sauce was good though, but this Beef Gyro Platter was just underwhelming. I've eaten at a lot of Middle-Eastern places before, but Halal Guys just could not compete at all. Makes sense for it being a chain I guess. Maybe I will come try again someday, but this isn't anything to rave about.

I like to eat at Hala Guys once in a while. I typically order the Beef Gyro Platter, which comes in a Regular ($12.99) or Small ($10.99). The Regular platters come with two packets of white sauce and one packet of hot sauce compared to one of each with the Small platter. Obviously, you do get more food in the Regular platter as well. You can also choose to order a Gyro Sandwich, if you want everything in a neatly rolled package. I can't get enough of the white sauce, which I can understand why someone would order extra sauce or get the Regular Platter just to have two packets of it. The food itself is tasty with a reasonable price. The Halal Guys is a famous and popular chain that originates from NYC with two locations in Washington: Pioneer Square and South Lake Union.

    Gave like 80% quantity.

We went on a Saturday around 2pm and it wasn't too busy at the takeout window. The restaurant is only takeout - there are benches right next to the takeout window, but there are only enough spots for 8 - 12 people (2-3 people per bench). The only other seating is at the nearby street seating offered by the neighboring bars, which I can see being restricted during peak hours. Parking can be very difficult if you plan on driving, there is only street side parking that is usually full, and nearby paid parking in lots. Service is fast, after we got our order, we only waited 5-8 minutes for our food. We got their recommended Soujouk (Beef) and Cheese Wrap for $16. The wrap is long, I would say about 13 - 14 inches long, and I can definitely seeing most people getting full after enjoying one of these. The flavors are nice and you can taste the spices from the sausage - I could taste cinnamon front and center with other earthy spices lingering in an aftertaste. The wrap is very decadent, the cheese is hearty and indulgent and that with the spiced sausage and textural difference with the cucumbers is pleasing. Do note with how indulgent this wrap is, you will accumulate a ton of oil in your wrapper as you enjoy it - a nap afterwards is in your future if you eat a whole wrap! I think that Yalla Seattle is a good stop to try these cuisines in a casual manner and the price is reasonable. There are some other items on the menu that kept my attention and I would totally revisit to try the other items offered by this restaurant.

Yalla is a walk up window, and there are just a couple of benches right outside where you can eat, and according to other reviews you can also go to Montana Bar next door with your food. The menu is posted in a couple places right next to the ordering window, and it's pretty easy to parse. Almost everything there is what I'd consider a "portable food", meaning something you don't need a plate, fork, and knife to eat, which makes sense given that it's not a sit down restaurant. They have veggie saj, meaty saj, mezze, a few sides, and a dessert. I really like their concise menu. We tried the baba ghanoush ($9.5), which comes with saj on the side, a batinjan and labneh saj wrap ($12), and a halloumi grilled cheese (halloumi grilled inside saj, $13). As you can tell, the saj underpins everything at Yalla, and their saj is excellent. Warm, soft, flaky, and tearable, it is perfect for both dipping and wrapping and grilling. The batinjan and labneh wrap is bursting (literally) with tender grilled eggplant, a rich sauce, and tangy, creamy labneh. It is truly one of the most delicious eggplant dishes I've ever had. The halloumi grilled cheese definitely hits the spot, and is more filling than you think by looking at it. Baba ghanoush is so smooth and flavorful, and I love the pomegranate seeds on top! The folks who work there are super nice, very friendly, and food comes out quickly. Prices are very reasonable, and I will definitely be back to try some of their meaty saj! This place is going into my regular rotation, for sure.

From the moment we arrived, the **host and servers were warm, welcoming, and very polished**. The service felt attentive without being intrusive, and the staff did a nice job keeping the evening moving at a relaxed pace. The Royal Feast included several dishes that were brought out over the course of the evening. We started with **cinnamon pastries**, which were warm and a nice way to begin the meal. The spread also included **couscous, rice, chicken with lemon, Italian-style chicken, lamb, and kebabs**. The portions were generous and worked well for sharing with a large group. One thing to note: **vegetarians don't have many options here**, so if someone in your group has dietary restrictions, it might be a bit limiting. The meal ended with **tea**, which was a pleasant way to wrap up the dinner. Part of the experience here is the **belly dance performance**, but it doesn't start until **after 6:30 pm**. If you're expecting dancing throughout the dinner, you might be disappointed. The performance itself was okay, but the dancer mostly performs in the center area rather than around the tables, so it feels a bit distant. Personally, I've seen more engaging belly dance performances elsewhere. Parking is something to plan ahead for. The restaurant **does not have its own parking lot**, so you'll need to rely on **Seattle street parking, nearby garages, or paid lots**.
