Not sure why this place has just three stars. I am going to say that the tuna kimbap was EXCELLANT. Appreciate that the customer service, the quality of the food and how quick they were! I would definitely try the spicy tuna kimbap next time! Menu boosts many other options available to all Korean snack lovers including spicy rice cake, tempura, fish soup, blood sausages, dumplings, truffle fries, cheese sticks, buns and more! I would definitely come back to try other options and get a little taste of Korea! Also - head up to the third floor when you get your order and enjoy the views of BTS and BlackPink!

This food stall is inside the Food Gallery 32 in Korea town. It is a Korean snack shop - so you can get things like corn dogs and tteokboki! Hubs got the tteokboki with a side of beef and 3 small fried corn dogs. The rice cakes had a really nice chew texture and mouthfeel and I liked that you can add on meat toppings!! The corn dogs were freshly fried and very filling. Lots of seating in this food hall, go upstairs if the bottom floor is too crowded!

This stall is inside the Food Court on 32nd St The spicy rice cakes were okay, thought the extra sugar wasn't necessary. This is considered street food for 13 dollars. It is def overpriced but it's 32nd St! Everything is overpriced because the rent is too too high!

Set C: assorted fried + rice cakes

September 2022 visit I had an insane appetite and was craving for more than just my spiced seafood soup, so I also ordered this set. Kinda pricey, $16. Rice cakes was smaller than I thought but probably for the best given I had another dish LOL. The fried items were good. I liked the blood sausage the best, but the dumplings were too oily. Rice cakes have a nice spicy after taste, but I would like it if it was spicier and hotter (temperature). Would I get this again? Yah! I think I want to just get blood sausage next time.

Tastes great. Got the deluxe bimbap with kimchi, tuna, kale, pickle, and something else I forgot. But it was very yummy and filling. Paired with a bowl of rice cakes but it leaked almost all in the takeout bag, so I didn't try. Also got the cinnamon sugar rice cakes. They were fried but were good! Overall the food was decent but indeed overpriced (2 things + small bowl of rice cakes = $22).

This stall inside of Food Gallery 32 has pretty typical Korean fare including tteokbokki and kimbap. We waited around 10 minutes for the food after ordering. I got the bulgogi tteokbokki, which was $17. While the flavors were consistent with what you would expect from tteokbokki, the portion sizes were lacking. There was not that much meat nor rice cakes. The black takeout container was only filled a little more that halfway and much of it was just sauce. I would not say it was worth it.

Bulgogi/ Fish cake soup combo with Tteokbokki

Shop's stall is located inside Gallery 32, decided on this stall since there were too many people lining up at the others (there's a reason why). The menu has a variety of combo meals to select from and decided on the Bulgogi Kimbap with Fishcake soup, also wanted to try the tteokbokki rice cake as well. Waited for about ten minutes as my buzzer rang me in. The kimbap lacked flavor (Queens has some better ones), so dipped the rest of my kimbap roll in the tteokbokki hot sauce. The fish cake soup was also a bit bland as well- dipped my fish tofu in the spicy tteobokki sauce as well. The rice cake was okay, not the best. Will probably try other kimbap places in the area next time

Service is not good. The attitude I got is they don't care about customer service. But I was really craving for hot fish cake soup. Fine. Quickly checked out and then I left. The soup is good for rainy weather. But the service can be improved a LOT.

They're located on the first level, on the left hand side when you enter the food court. I noticed how good their tteokbokki looked from other customers' trays, so I got what I thought would be the best of both worlds: Combo A, which had both kimbap and tteokbokki ($12.25). I picked bulgogi for my kimbap, which comes with 10 pieces. What I failed to realize, which wasn't clear from their signs, is that the tteokbokki in their combos come in a very small sized cup, rather than the regular black bowls. If it was clear, I would've ordered a full sized bowl of tteokbokki to go with my kimbap, as I would rather skip the disposable small cup and have the regular bowl. The kimbap goes great when dipped in the tteokbokki sauce, hence why the regular bowl would've been a great pairing. You order first and pay and wait for the pager to alert you when your order is ready for pick up. There's seating downstairs, but with several businesses on the first floor, you're better off heading up for more seating if the first floor is all full.

Spicy Rice Cake with cheese
Marni M.

My friends and I wanted to try a little something from each station. The rice cakes looked good so that's what I ordered with cheese on top. Was kind of disappointed when she didn't bother melting it even a little. Rice cakes themselves weren't that chewy or even tasty. Seemed to have been over cooked and fish cakes were also almost disintegrating in the sauce. Not sure if I would try these again but possibly other items from their menu may be worth while.

I love this place. It's located ibsyde the Korean food gallery 32. So happy they are open again! All my favorites are here. Bulgogi Kim bop for $9 comes w soup. Spicy rice cake. Service is fast. Perfect for picking up lunch. I try not to go often to the Korean food gallery n I would definitely gain weight. This place is a must for a quick Korean street food fix.

Kimbap Set deluxe version Bulgogi Kimchi Kimbap and small cup of tteokbokki
Christine C.

Honestly, it's a 3.5 for me. The kimbap tasted very subpar compared to the kimbap I have had in the city. I appreciate the effort that they took to make it but I was honestly expecting better. Their Tteokbokki is alright, it's an interesting flavor I haven't tasted before. It was more on the spicy side. I ordered the deluxe kimbap and tteokbokki combo for like ~16-~$18. It's not something I would try again tbh. The service was nice. The cashier was prompt at taking my order. It's a food hall so the seating is first come first serve that shouldn't be counted against them. Would I try them again, maybe, I'm not sure but I wouldn't get the kimbap again, personally.

Cinnamon sugar rice cakes. A bit overpriced but pretty tasty.
Glenn C.

I have gotten their cinnamon-sugar tteok/rice cakes a few times. These are pan-fried and of course topped with cinnamon and brown sugar. Nice crispy texture. A bit messy to eat. I wouldn't bother getting kimbap here as there's a good kimbap specialist essentially across the street but there's convenience here. Alright spot. Upper 2.

The effortless tranquility encourages you to slow down, enjoy the food, and get away from the everyday, hubbub. Their menu leans into fusion dishes with a nod to some of the classic home-style classics. Everything is presented with a refined, elevated touch. Here's what we ordered: ~ Tako Wasabi - 5/5 stars A fiery delight. This appetizer feartures chopped raw octopus marinated in wasabi. It has a lively zest from the wasabi and is topped with tobiko, which adds a pleasant contrast in texture. ~ Honey Makgeolli - 4/5 stars A traditional fermented Korean beverage that is light and pairs brilliantly with your meal. It is a cloudy alcholoic drink served in a metal teapot, and surprisingly, there is much more in that teapot than you would expect. It easily provides six to eight generous pours. The flavor is subtly sweet with a pleasant tang. ~ Temaki Set - 4/5 stars You can order a set of three by choosing from selections 1-17, or you can order a la carte at the listed prices. Some of the temaki stood out more than others. Our two sets included marinated salmon, bluefin tuna, spicy yellowtail, spicy bluefin, and two dynamite temaki. ~ Spicky Pork Ssam Set - 5/5 stars Truly another standout entree that even surpassed my beloved grilled BBQ bossam. You received a generous basket of assorte greens, including romaine, kale, perilla leaves, dandelion leaves, nappa cabbage, and more. It is well worth the price and makes for a fun, interactive dining experience with your family and friends. There is also various banchan offered and this time, they were beyond kind enough to offer refills. The last time we were here, we ordered just as much food and they stated they normally did not offer refills, which I thought was very odd. With its casual bougie aesthetics, this spot has quickly become one of my favorite eateries in Fort Lee-lee, It beautifully blends Korean, Japanese, and American flavors in a way that feels both comforting and elevated. Needless to say, we will be back!

When we pulled up to the restaurant, we were informed there were a few levels. We went to the second floor and they were happy to accommodate us. We were rolling 6 deep and the booth was enough for us, but barely. In our party, majority of us wanted meat with the exception of 2 people only wanting shrimp and something else. We got the large beef combination platter which comes with ribeye, thin skirt, brisket, marinated kalbi, and marinated chuck flap. Most people stuck with water, while a couple got ginger ale. I ordered the soju flight but I ended up not liking it so my cousins shared it. The meal comes with different veggies as well as your choice of soup. We got the spicy tofu and split it 6 ways. The spice lived up to its name, so I didn't eat very much. The best part was meat. Despite there being 6 of us, there was plenty to go around. I think you have the option to cook it yourself or have them cook it for you and we chose the latter. While I enjoyed it, I wish there was more space. Most of the space was taken up by the accompaniments that come with it (veggies, etc), so there was hardly any room to put anything else. It didn't help that none of our dishes were cleared once we finished them and that no rice is included. Aside from that, both the food and service were great.

But there's no denying that BCD has upped their soondubu game considerably in the last decade+ with a thicker, more deeply flavored broth, and now easily rivals my longtime favorite and gold standard, the OG So Kong Dong in Fort Lee. Then I stumbled into a hack that changed my view: lunch! I ducked in for a late lunch on a whim while walking by one day, and this turned out to be a much chiller hour, unhurried and no reservation needed. I was promptly seated, my order taken, and the banchan swiftly laid out. The banchan spread is solid across the board (the little fried fish does nothing for me, but seems to be a highlight for everyone else). I especially love the kimchi, near-perfect IMO, and the pickled cucumber. There's a modest lunch discount, which is a nice bonus for someone who likes to order aggressively. I usually get an oyster, seafood, or assorted soondubu (with a raw egg cracked in), danger spicy of course! Or go the C1 combo route with a galbi (marinated bbq beef short ribs) + smaller soondubu. It's an enormous amount of food, so I take most of the galbi home and feel no shame about it. The galbi, by the way, has also gotten noticeably better over the years - meatier, tender, and the flavor is on point. I've also enjoyed their bibimbap, bulgogi, jap chae, and seafood pancake. Finally, let's talk heat - this chili-head loooves fire! And BCD's danger level is one of the rare instances where the spice level actually meets my punishing tolerance for heat, not some pretense at "American spicy.," despite this being a chain. Their danger level actually means business and brings tears to my eyes, literally. It's still not my favorite place ambience wise, and dinner remains a contact sport I've mostly opted out of, as gone are the days that I can tolerate a culinary mosh pit, and any wait longer than 10 minutes (and only for a superlative place) will trigger an automatic ejection of my presence. But for lunch? Unexpectedly great. 4 stars for dinner, 5 for lunch.
