Everydaily is the 2020s version of Woorijip, offering quick lunch bites and à la carte banchan in a modernised setting, complete with a very good espresso and coffee bar at the front of the store. What it lacks in Woorijip's homeyness and nostalgia, it makes up for in quality and variety. Vegetarian options are somewhat limited, but if you're a "chill" vegetarian like myself, ignoring the shellfish in kimchi opens up quite a few more items like kimchi fried rice. There are also vegetarian pancake options, small banchan and bimbimbap (I wish they had a vegetarian kimbap offering).

Everydaily has a wide variety of grab and go food as well as snacks. I liked that there was a sink and microwaves for folks who prefer their food extra warm. I appreciate all of the food labels as someone with a lot of food allergies. It was interesting finding snow peas in the kimbap as I have not seen that before. Adds a nice crunch! There is seating in the back of the store as well as bathrooms.

I heard there was a new spot for grab-and-go Korean comfort food!! I just had to try it since I love Woorijip (which is right on 32nd St. in the heart of K-Town, so it's usually packed.) This spot is a little farther away (off 35th St.), so it's much quieter. When comparing the two spots, Everydaily was just ok. Everydaily offered limited food options towards the end of the day - most of the food is already gone by 6 pm, which was disappointing and very different from my usual experience at Woorijip. Woorijip usually has plenty of food available in the evenings. I did enjoy what I picked out - japchae noodles and sausage kimbap. They were both delicious!! But my overall experience was a little underwhelming for what I anticipated. Maybe I went on an off day - will be trying again another time!

Found my new favorite spot for Korean comfort food! This place is set up perfectly for a quick grab-and-go meal with a huge variety of soups, kimbap, poke bowls, banchan - the list goes on and on! I tried the Beef Bulgogi Bibimbap bowl and it was delicious - really comforting and hit the spot. I love that they have microwaves available if you want to heat your food up right there. Just a heads up: it gets pretty busy during the weekday lunch rush. There is one long communal table and a few smaller ones, so you might have to share space or time it right! There's also a cute café in the front that I haven't tried yet, but it looks promising. I'll definitely be back to try more of their options!

Great cheap find in the middle of Manhattan. You can get so many dishes to go, and this was a good spot to pick up food for a picnic. There's also seating in the back if you want to dine in. The dishes ranged from $6-$10 ish depending on what you get. It's not like restaurant-level food, but you really can't beat that price! My favorite I got was the noodles (top right in the pics) ty for reading B-)

I stopped by with two friends during prime weekday lunch time. We all grabbed our items, paid and went to the back dining area to look for a table. The space was so crowded but thankfully there was an empty table as soon as we stopped in. The lunch boxes were tasty but a bit cold, so make sure to heat them up before you start eating! Compared to Woorjip, I would say flavor was slightly better and price was comparable. I did see a lot of people order the dine in option so I will definitely do that the next time I stop by. All in all, a nice take-out fast casual lunch option in the area.

Super neat concept! They have a bunch of premade bento boxes, with so many options -- rice, noodles, chicken, beef, pork, etc. And you pick up a box and optionally dessert, soup, kimchi, other side dishes and pay. Afterwards there is a nice seating area where you can heat up your food and sit to eat. Perfect for a quick affordable lunch!

My new favorite spot! If you're looking for quick, affordable and delicious food, this is the perfect place! I stumble upon it while walking around and decided to check it out. The food is apready prepared so just pick what you want, pay and go or enjoy it there. They have tables and chairs and even a microwave. I tried the chicken bento with rice, kimchi and sides and it was so good! I also had the shrimp bento and a tofu seafood soup, and everything was delicious. Definitely one of my top go to places especially when I'm at work.

Amazing spot to get some convenient Korean meals that are readily packed to go! The food seems freshly made everyday and taste-wise the quicker you eat it the better, but nonetheless it still does the job, and they have a wide variety of food. I got the tteokbokki and kimchi jeon (pancake), which were both good within a couple hours of purchase, moderately spicy imo. On their own I don't think it's enough to make me full so I consider it more like side dishes, but they do have other more substantial meals there like rice bowls and noodles (I also want to try their kimbap next time). The interior is super spacious to explore with a cafe as well!

Forgot to take photos of the food, but I had the spicy pork dosirak & the fried chicken curry noodle and rice. The spicy pork was very good and had a good variety of things like purple rice, broccoli, and kimchi. The fried chicken curry noodle & rice was a bit greasy and cold, so I didn't like it as much. There is a good amount of indoor seating and a good selection of food & drinks! This is a great spot if you want a quick grab & go.

I came here for a quick grab and go for dinner and got a bulgogi kimbap and a mala flavored dish that included noodles, rice cakes, peppers and other vegetables. The price here is definitely unbeatable! The bulgogi kimbap was pretty good for the price but I thought the mala noodles could use more flavor. There were many different options to choose from. I would be down to go back and try some other things.

Saw reels on social media; learned from a staff member that they've been open around 2 mos. There's a coffee counter; then in the middle are the food area and cashier. On shelves are varieties of meal options - pick complete bento boxes with sides and rice, and bowls; or mix-and-match separate items like sausages, fried rice, korean chicken, kimbaps, banchans, croquettes, etc. Was hard to choose so decided to get a few to share and taste. Paid and went to the back where there's ample seating and microwaves for heating up (instructions posted). There's a station set-up for trash, etc and a sink. In the box: Beef patty was a little sweet; crab croquette was very creamy inside; with purple rice and egg. Some liked the Korean blood sausage - doesn't have a strong flavor, but dry so ate it with pickled veggies. Mackerel has some bones. The tonkatsu is the only item cooked fresh after ordering. They said 20min-wait and that was accurate; and brought to our table. It is quite large, so for at least 2 people (my son took 2/3 of it and was enough). With rice, (sweet) corn soup, cabbage salad, mac salad, kimchi and a long hot pepper. I like the idea of no-fuss, ready, quick meals at good prices. Seeing how the place is- clean, organized, helpful staff- we will most likely return. Restroom available. Located in busy 34th St area, near Macy's so very easy by public transportation; metered street parking in the area.

Came here during lunch - heard about the place on social media. Very impressed with the variety of options to select from. I ended with 3 boxes to go, had it for both lunch and dinner. The spam, egg and rice was the cheapest at $7'ish. A good option if you're hungry and on a budget.

Their menu leans into fusion dishes with a nod to some of the classic home-style classics. Everything is presented with a refined, elevated touch. Here's what we ordered: ~ Tako Wasabi - 5/5 stars A fiery delight. This appetizer feartures chopped raw octopus marinated in wasabi. It has a lively zest from the wasabi and is topped with tobiko, which adds a pleasant contrast in texture. ~ Honey Makgeolli - 4/5 stars A traditional fermented Korean beverage that is light and pairs brilliantly with your meal. It is a cloudy alcholoic drink served in a metal teapot, and surprisingly, there is much more in that teapot than you would expect. It easily provides six to eight generous pours. The flavor is subtly sweet with a pleasant tang. ~ Temaki Set - 4/5 stars You can order a set of three by choosing from selections 1-17, or you can order a la carte at the listed prices. Some of the temaki stood out more than others. Our two sets included marinated salmon, bluefin tuna, spicy yellowtail, spicy bluefin, and two dynamite temaki. ~ Spicky Pork Ssam Set - 5/5 stars Truly another standout entree that even surpassed my beloved grilled BBQ bossam. You received a generous basket of assorte greens, including romaine, kale, perilla leaves, dandelion leaves, nappa cabbage, and more. It is well worth the price and makes for a fun, interactive dining experience with your family and friends. There is also various banchan offered and this time, they were beyond kind enough to offer refills. The last time we were here, we ordered just as much food and they stated they normally did not offer refills, which I thought was very odd. We got the large beef combination platter which comes with ribeye, thin skirt, brisket, marinated kalbi, and marinated chuck flap. Most people stuck with water, while a couple got ginger ale. I ordered the soju flight but I ended up not liking it so my cousins shared it. The meal comes with different veggies as well as your choice of soup. We got the spicy tofu and split it 6 ways. The spice lived up to its name, so I didn't eat very much. The best part was meat. Despite there being 6 of us, there was plenty to go around. I think you have the option to cook it yourself or have them cook it for you and we chose the latter. While I enjoyed it, I wish there was more space. Most of the space was taken up by the accompaniments that come with it (veggies, etc), so there was hardly any room to put anything else. It didn't help that none of our dishes were cleared once we finished them and that no rice is included. Aside from that, both the food and service were great.

But there's no denying that BCD has upped their soondubu game considerably in the last decade+ with a thicker, more deeply flavored broth, and now easily rivals my longtime favorite and gold standard, the OG So Kong Dong in Fort Lee. Then I stumbled into a hack that changed my view: lunch! I ducked in for a late lunch on a whim while walking by one day, and this turned out to be a much chiller hour, unhurried and no reservation needed. I was promptly seated, my order taken, and the banchan swiftly laid out. The banchan spread is solid across the board (the little fried fish does nothing for me, but seems to be a highlight for everyone else). I especially love the kimchi, near-perfect IMO, and the pickled cucumber. There's a modest lunch discount, which is a nice bonus for someone who likes to order aggressively. I usually get an oyster, seafood, or assorted soondubu (with a raw egg cracked in), danger spicy of course! Or go the C1 combo route with a galbi (marinated bbq beef short ribs) + smaller soondubu. It's an enormous amount of food, so I take most of the galbi home and feel no shame about it. The galbi, by the way, has also gotten noticeably better over the years - meatier, tender, and the flavor is on point. I've also enjoyed their bibimbap, bulgogi, jap chae, and seafood pancake. Finally, let's talk heat - this chili-head loooves fire! And BCD's danger level is one of the rare instances where the spice level actually meets my punishing tolerance for heat, not some pretense at "American spicy.," despite this being a chain. Their danger level actually means business and brings tears to my eyes, literally. It's still not my favorite place ambience wise, and dinner remains a contact sport I've mostly opted out of, as gone are the days that I can tolerate a culinary mosh pit, and any wait longer than 10 minutes (and only for a superlative place) will trigger an automatic ejection of my presence. But for lunch? Unexpectedly great. 4 stars for dinner, 5 for lunch.

Our meal ended with a yummy ice cream for each of us. This meal however made a pretty big dent in my wallet. It was my fault for not checking the menu before heading in. I didnt want to walk any further with my toddler and my pregnant sister since it started raining outside.

Good portion sizes for the 2-person shared BBQ lunch- be it Bulgolgi beef, stewed soup, or Banchan…read morewith 6 varieties of small dishes. Soup and Banchan both receive high marks for how good they taste. Also ordered a separate beef short rib lunch special, the rib was cooked to perfection and the sauce applied was very flavorful. Servers were friendly and mostly attentative, restaurant decors and cleanliness of interiors and bathrooms were quite good. Would come back again next time in the Herald Square area.
