We came to Ormond Beach to try this restaurant b/c it was recommended by some friends from our church. We arrived at 4:20 with a party of 8 and was told immediately that they closed at 5:00pm The lady in charge was not interested in serving us due to worrying about having to stay after 5:00pm repeatedly saying at least 5 - 6 times they were out of chicken etc & were closing at 5:00 She was very unprofessional in her approach to us & showed impatience with the ladies in our party..after a short period of time we all decided to go somewhere else to eat due to her attitude. The owner of this restaurant should be informed that his help was Not there to serve his customers but was only concerned about their own agenda. We will Never return to this business b/c of the attitude of it's workers. This happened Thursday 2-29-24. We went to the Crepevine for lunch today & there were only 2 people working. The one with the short hair was very sweet & friendly but the one with the black curly hair & glasses was extremely rude & very unfriendly!! She did not make us feel welcome at all! I understand they're short handed but there's no excuse for such rude behavior!!! We went a couple months ago & the staff was so friendly & cheerful, not sure what's happened but I hope it doesn't stay this way. We love the food here but it's not a pleasant atmosphere when you're treated that way. We will give it another try in the future but hope we don't encounter the same rude woman!! read more

Never liked crepes until my old boss decided we'd try this place out. Immediately after I was hooked! Staff are great and friendly, owner is a great guy too. Haven't been to the Altamonte location but it is the original and twice as busy. Food is always great and the staff remember my order. I always get the Annihilator and it's so packed with meat and an easy way to hide veggies if you aren't much of a fan. They also sell blue bell ice cream which is very good as well. I now visit about once every two weeks now. Never figured I would go from hating crepes to now having them regularly. I'd recommend to anyone debating on if they should go. Do it. We just went there and was going to order, told the gentleman that I had to be Gluten Free because I have Celiac. He was not going to use a clean grill but said it was just used for a regular crepe. So that meant I could get sick from cross contamination. I don't thing he is trained to know how to treat a GF customer. Plus wasn't sure if meats were GF because of no notice in menu.
