Breakfast ranchero style

World Plate 230 St Joe Plaza Dr, Palm Coast, FL 32164 Near St Augustin. Eric has been a chef for over 20 years, making dishes from all over the world. He has worked in very exclusive resorts, and almost a year ago he opened his own resturant /bakery. Everything is fresh, and its presented to you with the highest quality at a reasonable price. Going back in March for the seafood feast, and I will be eating there again, you will not be disappointed.

Had the most delicious chocolate mousse cake from here for my birthday. I can't wait to try the rest of the menu.

This is a really good restaurant. The chef really knows his stuff when it comes to blackened mahi…read moremahi. Does it just right. The other thing I like is the sound level. A sound level of 55 to 65 decibels is just right for conversation with your dinner companion. The higher the level the tougher it is to make dinner conversation without shouting. Tonight about 6:30 I measured the sound level as high as 89. Lots of action at the bar and several folks including one guy who were shouting to be able to converse over the sound were really making noise. Two ladies were also shouting very loud. Now since I really don't like talking to my wife I found the din refreshing. I could say anything to my wife and she had no idea what I was saying. Also, all I had to do when the waitress came around was nod as if I knew what she was saying and she smiled, said something and left. The mahi was great and the french fries were really tasty. I don't get the very hard potato chips any more since the last time i had them I broke a crown and it was $800 getting it replaced by a great dentist. My wife didn't take a cushion to put on the very uncomfortable steel seats but it didn't matter since I couldn't hear her complain about the uncomfortable chairs. And the lemonade was first class. Next time we will take ear protectors to get through the 6:00 to 7:00 noise barrage since by 7:15 when the loud folks left the decibels went back to about 70 and that was OK.

The food was pretty good. This place is definitely a bar. It used to feel kind of family friendly…read morebut now iI just feels like a bar. We probably won't come back one of the servers, not our server, but was dropping curse words and the whole place just didn't feel like we ever wanna bring our child here again, even though she did enjoy the food. If you're looking for a decent local bar and wanna hang out with friends and have some pretty good food, you will like this place. If you're looking for family friendly this is not the place.

Very refreshing on a hot day. My son got a sprite. I enjoyed the crab cake sandwich, but my favorite were the sweet potato fries with this honey chipotle dipping sauce. Yummmmmmmm. I would come back for those alone! Hubs enjoyed blackened grouper sandwich with pasta salad. Son enjoyed burger but said it was overcooked. No biggie. Ask for Izzy. Get the sweet potato fries and the blueberry marg.

Looking for a fresh seafood restaurant with wild-caught shrimp and raw oysters near the beach?…read more Surprisingly, not this place. The name 'Turtle Shack' does not carry any significance. We did have clam chowder minus the clams and bits of potato normally found in most every clam chowder. It was essentially a milky broth. The fish sandwich was good. Our choice of Mahi was a nice-sized portion-control piece that had no doubt been purchased and delivered frozen, but to be fair was cooked to our liking. And it came with a large serving of crisp tasty fresh fries. The french dip sandwich was also pretty good. Plenty of shaved meat and a nice pineapple slaw side was more than enough to satisfy us. No complaints unless you thought clam chowder actually oughta have clam and potato in it, or if you were planning to enjoy fresh FL seafood at the 'Turtle Shack'. Instead, enjoy the burgers and the wings and the portion-control fish sandwich and the french dip and ignore the mis-leading name out front.

They make an amazing three egg omelet like we never saw before. They produce the omelet with the ingredients on top, not buried. It sounds strange but you will appreciate it when you go there. The meal was delicious. We had a glitch, we ordered scrambled eggs for one person in our party, and the server brought out delicious looking eggs cooked over easy. When the error was brought to her attention, she quickly excused herself and went to the kitchen, in a brief time she brought out perfect scrambled eggs. Im ordering the over easy next time I go there, they looked so good , but I had the large onmlet and couldn't eat anymore. The reason for only 4 stars were the prices. We all discussed it and agreed that the prices were estimated to be 30% higher than anywhere else in the area. We will be back because of the service, the food, and the freshness of the establishment. Even with the higher prices we left a tip above 20%
