I happen to be in the Daytona area celebrating a friend's birthday and I got the sweet opportunity to go get a 6-pack of Duck Donuts before heading back home to Orlando. I had only been to Duck Donuts once before, and boy was it memorable! These donuts are absolute perfect. They taste and have the consistency of the inside of a perfect funnel cake, and they are made fresh to order. So every order of donuts is fresh and hot. Of course, great quality and fresh donuts take a little time - so you might have to wait a little for your donuts since they're coming right out of the oven. I did a little research before I went into the store. I read online that I needed to try the French toast donuts, and the Boardwalk. I also got a glazed doughnut , a doughnut with chocolate and sprinkles, and a doughnut topped with fruity pebbles. All of them were super delicious. As expected, the favorites were the French toast and the Boardwalk. The service here is superb. Everyone is so nice, and super helpful. The cashier was very patient with me as I took forever to make my choices. But luckily there was no one else waiting behind me when I was there. Parking is plentiful. This place is a must - try! If you haven't gone to duck donuts and you live in or around Daytona, I have no idea what you are waiting for! I most definitely recommend everyone take a trip over to Duck Donuts! read more

I had been wanting to try Duck Donuts for quite a while so and so I made the decision to try them out. Upon entering we were greeted by staff, asked if we had questions. We checked out the menu and made our choices and just to keep us on our toes there was an alternate menu with special items at the register,what to do, what to do!! I decided to stick with my original choice of Bacon in the Sun (maple bacon with caramel drizzle) and my husband Blueberry Pancake ( blueberry topping with maple drizzle and powdered sugar). We chose to also get a coffee beverage since they had dairy free alternatives (almond and oat milk) I had a hot caramel macchiato with oat milk which was delicious and my husband had iced caffe mocha which he felt tasted like chocolate milk with a coffee shot. All and all everything was delicious and I would definitely try again but maybe a less dressed up donut so that I could really enjoy the taste of the donut. This is by far one of the BEST local donut shops! I love that they're fresh & made to order however you want to customize them so the possible are endless! There's quick , friendly service & you can tell they were made with love. My favorites were the blueberry muffin & the strawberry sprinkled - both were 10's across the board! they're fluffy but dense with just enough toppings not to make a mess. The shop is also very clean, inviting, & I liked the cute cut out of the mascot if you want to take a picture of your littles. I just so happen to be on a little road trip to Jacksonville area and while coming down to Orlando, I noticed there was a duck donuts in the area and wow was I happy. Personally, I'm not a fan of donuts but Duck Donuts just outdid themselves. This time around I got a half dozen donuts with a mix of strawberry icing with and without confetti, glazed, and a sunrise donut. Their donuts are super yummy, served warm, the perfect amount of icing and toppings. There's something about the inside of the donut that I absolutely love. It's a fluffy, cakey texture and personally that's how I prefer my donuts. Definitely a must try if you ever find one nearby. Orlando had a Duck Donuts many many years ago around the Loop area but they closed and now there's none, unfortunately. My first Duck Donuts was the one in Ft. In my opinion, they have Krispy Kream beat! Imagine a donut shop that does not pre-make donuts. All donuts are made to order, hot and fresh! The variety of donut options to choose from are near endless; however, I did not see a jelly-filled option, although I'm sure they could conjure one if requested. We ordered the BYO-Chocolate with Peanuts, The Blueberry Pancake, The Sand Dollar, the Maple Bacon, and a large coffee to share. The donuts are $1.85 each, and the coffee was $2.25. Wow, these donuts were like eating hot cake fresh out of the oven! We never eat this many donuts in one sitting, but we just couldn't stop once we started. We ate the first 3-donuts and went back to order the Maple Bacon. If Nancy didn't pull me out of there, I would have ordered more. I was so excited to hear that a Duck Donuts opened up in Daytona! I've had their donuts a few times back home, but was anxious to try out their coffee and breakfast sandwiches as well! I called the restaurant as soon as I parked in the pickup order spots, and a lady brought my order right out to my car! Nothing better than that kind of service!
