I really love coming to this Einstein's location. The service here is phenomenal and the store manager Julio Alonso gives awesome customer service! His staff is also very friendly and gives good customer service. The food is always fresh and served with a smile. More managers should take lessons from Julio and his staff. Just recently I realized there's an Einstein Bagel in this area. Mostly cuz I don't pass by Ormond Beach that often.. So today I purposely made it here. I ordered my "all time favorite bagel" Asiago Cheese bagel with eggs, cheese and bacon." Dunkin's have nothing on this--nothing to compare! Sorry DD. This bagel is fresh, beautifully toasted, and the egg, cheese and bacon were also fresh. Totally loved my Asiago bagel! Happy I stopped by around 1:30 ish and def no crowds. It was also clean and the workers were friendly and helpful. When in mood for a bacon and eggs on a bagel--Asiago bagel that is. From now inthis will be my go to place. Haven't been to an Einstein's in several years since I usually try to find a local mom and pop bagel shop. We were pressed for time, so we figured this would be better than McDonald's breakfast which is next door. Good choice! Got the chorizo sunrise and it was incredible! Chorizo, avocado, egg, cheese, salsa on a green chile bagel; I should have gotten another one. My son stopped in to buy me a nova lox sandwich and it was rotten. The lox is a white color with big chunks of green and then a hard spot on one of them and smelled like rotten fish and had a white milky looking sheen on it. When I called the store to let them know not to serve the lox anymore they told me I was "wrong it's not quite rotten yet". Another time I got the Nova Lox sandwich , and I had to take a piece off of that that looked pretty questionable. I've had the sandwich many times from here before and it never looked or smelled like it did today. The fact that Sarah, the manager just said "no it's not rotten just yet but at the end" and "that's the part closest to the skin, so it looks like that, and it didn't smell" is just poor customer service. The amount of trepidation a New Yorker experiences upon entering Non-New York bagel store is immeasurable. Countered only by the excitement of the older couple in front of me online, in her words "ordering with her eyes" she was ravenous and wanted everything. (They did order a lot for two people) At first sight, most of the flavored bagel bins were empty, at 2 pm on a Tuesday. Cranberry, cheesy hashbrown, spinach Florentine, some interesting flavors. My first choice, pumpernickel toasted with chicken salad, the couple in front of me got the last of the chicken salad. Second choice, blueberry toasted with cream cheese. I snagged a few extra: cinnamon raison, asiago and sesame, as well as a blackberry lemonade. Guys, I was famished and literally ate that blueberry bagel in its entirety before I pulled out of the parking lot. It was delicious. Soft, not bready, a very good representation of a bagel. Along with bagels, they offer a large menu so if you are in the area please do yourself a favor and stop in for a bite! read more

She was friendly and made the most wonderful coffee blend (caramel sauce, whole milk, 3 shots of espresso blend for a caramel macchiato)! Just came in here today for the first time. Was pretty disappointed considering how yummy it smelt walking in. I could probably eat about 3 of the breakfast sandwiches cause they're small. I order an EGG sandwich. Didn't get any egg. I added bacon they put a SINGLE slice and put half on one side, half on the other.. My husband got a 2 egg sandwich ended up only get 1 egg, his was decent he said but he could've easily ate quite a few of these tiny sandwiches. Wish there was a Noah's Bagels around here cause nothing compares to them. read more

Medicore bagels. Not your typical fresh New York bagel which I am so used to since I am native to there. Same goes for the pizza - must be in the water, right? I am not saying it was the worst, but it certainly did not do much for me. Walking in was a great friendly atmosphere. Plenty of places to sit down, and outside as well. Cashier and staff attentive, fast and friendly. They obviously have that down very good. I was impressed with how fast they were able to toast my bagel and deliver. Plenty of bagels to choose from - and very unique ones at that. From mac n' cheese to chocolate chip. I opted for the cinnamon sugar bagel with their maple cream cheese. Flavor was good nothing that wowed my taste buds. Bagel was light and "airy," usually New York bagels are doughy and dense. I would probably come back again and maybe try something different, but for sure will not go out of my way. I am not putting Einstein's down -- just my personal opinion. And I do still have the New York taste buds when it comes to bagels & pizzas read more

Larry is awesome ! He took my order which was just a croissant that was going to be split. So he cut it and put them on two place - and then put out tray on the table we wanted to sit at - even set out our napkins! This is a place that is all counter service - but I could tell this is a regular service he provides. Just a nice, little touch. What a guy. You know, I love me some Einstein's. I visit my "home" store probably 3 - 6 times a month. They know me there, and I can always count on them to get my order right. If they can't (if they're out of something, for instance), I know they'll let me know and come up with a suitable alternative or make it right. When we went to Daytona Beach this past week, we chose to eat at Einstein's no less than 3 times in 6 days. Mostly because we know what to expect there. Each time there was *something* not quite right. The first day, they were out of the roasted tomato spread for the turkey-bacon and avocado thin sandwich (sun-dried tomato cream cheese, while an acceptable substitute, just didn't *quite* do it for me). The second day, one of us ended up with jalapeno cream cheese instead of the sun-dried tomato cream cheese, and the last day, both of my daughters received plain cream cheese when I had clearly requested salmon cream cheese. It was all fixed with no fuss, but it sure made me miss my regular place! The Vanilla Hazelnut Coffee, though, is *always* superb. It is hands-down my favorite coffee any time, any where...! So even with minor complaints about order accuracy, I'll always go back to Einstein's as long as there's one in the town I'm in! read more

The people working here bring give a local vibe to a chain bagel place. I am only visiting the town for school but have been twice due to the close proximity of my current training location. Each time, they have provided great service. This includes bringing the food I ordered to the table. Bagels are fresh, smear is great and so are the egg sausage bagels. read more

This is my favorite bagel place and coffee shop in Ormond Beach. The bagels are freshly baked and crunchy and remind me of NY. I had the bacon, egg and cheddar cheese on a garlic bagel and it was amazing. Their bacon is really good. The perfect combination of crispy and fatty. The eggs were neatly fried and folded into the bagel. I also got the vanilla hazelnut latte which is my favorite specialty drink at this place. It's really good. It's nice and big and spacious and has a friendly vibe. The waiters are very helpful and friendly. There's also outdoor seating which is a plus. The art on the wall is super modern and cool. Waited 20 minutes for 13 for $7-not a big deal except two men who obviously (fist name etc) knew the gent at the register, cut in line and were served before others waiting. The lady in front of me also there for the 13 for $7 was overcharged which is what they tried to do to me, but she just rolled her eyes and paid. I got up there and i was told that I need to be in the club to get the 13 for $7--I showed the gent the email on my phone showing I had points on my account but not good enough --needed a phone number. I have never been asked this before but OK I started with one of my five phone line but that was not the right one. Many people behind me frustrated--the email on my phone showed my point balance--clearly I was in the club but was going to be overcharged just like the lady in front of me. I asked the gent to give them to me at the $7 or does he want to return them to the troughs of bagels after having sweet and savory bagels mixed in the box and the bagels being handled. He said he would return them to the other unsold bagels. I left---my selection of 13 mixed bagels went back into the troughs with the unsold bagels. Three things about this Ormond Beach location--be on a first name basis with the gent at the register (who I think is the manager)---be prepared to be overcharged---and, finally, watch out, the bagel you are buying might have been handled several times and then returned to the unsold bagel inventory. I went into Einstein's on a Monday for the 1/2 price bagel day to buy 1 dozen bagels for my father. Not realizing they changed the policy and you need to be part of the loyalty program the cashier charged me full price . I questioned the discount and he never mentioned I could provide my father's phone number (my dad signed up). When I went back into the store he would not void my original transaction and charge me the correct number with the discount; their machines were incapable of credits or transaction cancellations. It's a good thing all the employees are 100% perfect and never make mistakes that would need to be corrected, because according to him it can't be done. He then told me not to ask for a district manager because it wouldn't do any good. This is a horrible business practice. read more
