Such a cute, aesthetic little spot! It's definitely on the smaller side and not the most comfortable place to sit if that's your expectations, but perfect for grabbing a quick sandwich or pastry to go. The pastries were delicious and tasted super fresh. I didn't get a chance to try a sandwich, but the menu looked amazing and I'll definitely be back for one. The girl behind the counter was incredibly sweet and helpful. Definitely worth getting a pastry here! read more

This is a tiny, very cute, local bakery in Ormond. All the food is fantastic. I had the apple press sandwich. This is my new go to sandwich spot now. They sell out of pastries quickly, so get there early. The staff is very kind and helpful. I can not recommend this enough. read more

My sister noticed this bakery as she was driving by and invited me to check it out with her. I'm so glad she did! Thanks, sis! When we entered, the pastry case is the first thing that caught my eye! I immediately thought of scoring some yummy pastries for my amazing team. I knew they would enjoy them! And I was correct! I ordered blueberry scones, buttery croissants, hand-made brown sugar & cinnamon pop tarts, cheese danishes, chocolate chip cookies, and more. I took advantage of the great variety that was offered. There was sure to be something for everyone. I noticed that they also sell loaves of various breads, including gluten-free offerings. They even have a variety of delicious sounding sandwiches to satisfy your lunch cravings! I totally enjoyed speaking with the person who was assisting me. I'm not sure if he was the owner, but he was telling me about the business. Super friendly! I really appreciated the care he took in packaging the pastries! Be aware that this is strictly a take-out place, as there are no tables and chairs. I enjoy supporting our local businesses! A fantastic experience and a fantastic product! I'm already thinking about my next visit! read more

Food: Limited breakfast selection. A step up from Startbuck's breakfast menu. Food was average (not bad but not fresh). 3 Stars Service: Average. 3 Stars Ambiance: Tiny eatery. Only about 4 barstools for sit down. So it is more of a to-go place. 3 Stars Overall: 3 Stars read more

Met a friend there for lunch yesterday after a word of mouth recommendation. Yummy, the chicken salad sandwich $11 was delicious, the almond cookie $3 was amazing and the brown sugar pop tart this morning was worth every calorie. We sat outside at a picnic table in the shade, easy parking and has a wonderful time. The 2 employees weee helpful but told me the raspberry pop tarts sell out by 9am every day. Please make more! Welcome to Ormond Beach, a gem! read more

What a fantastic find and a spot we'll definitely revisit often. Everything was so fresh. We ordered a Cuban sandwich for lunch. Fantastic! The bread was the star. Also grabbed a raspberry pop tart and a chocolate pumpkin muffin we thoroughly enjoyed when we got home from our errands. Get there early - can see why they sell out of things quickly. Staff was great - all super friendly and knowledgeable. Wonderful addition to our downtown Ormond Main Street area. read more

The BEST gluten free bread I've ever had. I buy a loaf almost every week. Love this place!

Finding a great bread is hard enough but for someone with a yeast allergy? Practically impossible. Enter Uncommon Grain and their life-changing sourdough! The chew, the texture, the perfectly tangy flavor--it's an absolute dream. And a huge shoutout to Nicole, who went above and beyond to answer all my questions and help me determine if their bread was a safe option for me. Her kindness and expertise made an already amazing experience even better. I'm officially a card-carrying member of the Uncommon Grain fan club. If you haven't tried their sourdough yet, this is your sign! read more

Went to Uncommon Grain for the first time today, but it won't be the last! Great location in the original downtown Ormond Beach area. Service was excellent - all our questions were answered and cashier/front counter lady went back to check and see if they still had multigrain bread - we bought a loaf and it is delicious! Look forward to trying the sourdough on our next visit. The sandwiches looked great too! We also had to try the almond cookie and it was divine! Bonus - they carry our favorite honey from the Ormond Bee company! Sadly no pics today - next time! read more

The pistachio and Nutella croissant is amazing as is everything in this little treasure bakery, but don't wait till later in the day because they will be sold out. The sandwiches are delicious, each time I go a new sandwich becomes my favorite read more

Sweet little spot on Granada in Ormond Beach with delicious breads, pastries, and sandwiches (as well as a few smoothie options). Since orders are prepared fresh, do expect to wait - the traffic was steady and the storefront is small with only 4 bar stools for eating at the window. There is a restroom so that's a win! We ordered an Avo toast (VERY small portion for $10 imo) and a breakfast sandwich on a croissant (bacon, egg) which was delicious! We took home a jalapeño scone, blueberry scone (not dry - almost moist and a lovely surprise!), a cheese danish and a focaccia coffee roll. Excited to make my own avocado toast this morning and plan to return to try other offerings. It is a little on the pricey side but excellent quality. Parking is off Beach St. by Fugu sushi. read more

Went Christmas Eve at 9:30 a.m. with my daughter and SIL to get pastries for Christmas morning. We were the only ones in the store. We were told we could only buy 3 items as we were to be mindful of others. WHAT????? Are you kidding?? I'm sorry, when did I arrive in Communist Russia??? My daughter asked if she could buy 3 items and was basically told no. So in my family of 5, which 2 family members don't get a pastry????? We all agreed that it was the most insane thing ever. Will not be returning!!! read more

Uncommon Grain has the best croissants I have ever eaten, by far. They're crispy, delicious and made of real ingredients. Definitely have them warm it up for you - well worth a few minutes' wait! I also had a sandwich on their sourdough and it was absolutely great- hearty, tasty and well- balanced. Staff is very pleasant as well. The location is small and sunny, with great music. read more

The Uncommon Grain is one of our absolute favorite lunch spots here in Ormond Beach. The Italian Grilled Cheese sandwich is to die for... The Jalapeno scones are a hit as well. The grilled cheese is SOOO good, we haven't tried anything else 'cept the scones. When I find something this good, I look no further. Do yourself a favor and try it out! You wont regret it! Nice small outside dining area in the back. An absolute gem!!! read more

This was our go-to sandwich shop during our month in Ormond Beach. Delicious breads and perfectly prepared sandwiches. We tried nearly everything on the menu and recommend it all. They are a small shop and do get busy around lunch. Recommend calling in the order in early and picking up. Plenty of parking in the lot behind the shop and nice seating in a patio out back as well. read more

Food and service is wonderful! The staff are so nice and helpful! I will be recommending it to everyone

A bakery should not sell day old bread at full price, specially when it's already overpriced. It won't stay open long.

Food was good but the prices are too high. Bought 2 sandwiches and two bottles of apple juice and it cost us 42.00 ! The loaves of bread were small for the price. read more

Yummy sandwiches & pastries!! You can tell everything is made fresh. The strawberry jam in the "pop-tart" is delicious. Highly recommend the cuban sandwich and chicken salad sandwich. read more

The service was very friendly. The small breakfast croissant was tasty but not special for the price. Would love to see some little quiche tarts on the menu please. We will go back as it's new & I'm sure the kinks will work it's self out. My 30 something sons thought the prices were high. read more
