Annabelle's Cookies and More specializes in Italian Cookies, Cakes, Pastries, Truffles, & More. Unfortunately due to Covid, her brick-and-mortar location is now closed and she is now only taking pre-orders as she is back to baking from a remote commercial kitchen and from her home kitchen in Ormond. Cake and other special orders can be placed and picked up, with a minimum of a 48-hour notice. Local delivery for a small fee is available. Annabelle is a bake-to-order baker, and while she does specialize in Italian bakery items, she also makes custom cakes, including Wedding, Birthday, Anniversary, and Graduation. Gluten-free and sugar-free baked treats are also offered.
History
Established in 2012.
Annabelle has been baking delectable treats for more than 25 years. She personally hand mixes, rolls, dips, bakes, and decorates everything she creates. Most of her Italian Cookies, Biscotti, Truffles, and Cakes are created from Italian recipes that have been handed down through the years from one Italian generation to another, with the exception of a few of her own creations! As a bake-to-order baker, while specializing in Italian Cakes and Cookies, she does bake many other kinds of baked goods, including gluten-free and sugar-free treats. Annabelle's also caters weddings, birthday corporate, school and many other types of events. Most recently, in May of 2021, Annabelle's was voted as Ormond Beach's "Best Bakery" and in the summer of 2021 was recognized as the Southeast Coast best woman-owned Italian Bakery in a National Magazine!
Meet the Business Owner: Annabelle A.
Ever since she was a little girl, she knew she had a passion for baking. She would sit and watch her mother and grandmother whenever they would cook and bake. She then would try to make delicious creations of her own. After a few mishaps and years of perfecting one recipe after another, Annabelle's Cookies and More was born. Fortunately, she inherited many of her grandmother's Italian cookie recipes and is able to bake up a number of these "Italian biscotti." When it comes to her specialty cakes, she is a self-taught decorator and does all of her artwork freehand. Thus, she is not always able to duplicate things exactly when it comes to the finer points of her designs.
