Stopped by one afternoon and got an almond cupcake and a buckeye brownie. Both were delicious. Can't wait to go get more. Yummy.

Friendly stop for gluten-free & dairy-free desserts in Flagler Beach…read more We stopped by Flagler Tea Company mid-morning -- not for tea (though they have plenty!) -- but because at 10am, we were unapologetically on the hunt for dessert. Our son's 20th birthday dinner was later that evening, and since his girlfriend is gluten-free, we wanted to surprise her with something she could enjoy. We chatted with the daughter of the owner, who was so friendly and informative. Her mom (the owner) is gluten-free, but she's not -- so they intentionally aim to make their GF recipes taste as close to the "regular" versions as possible. I really appreciated the care and thought that goes into that! They offer gluten-free and dairy-free treats, including cupcakes, donuts, macaroons, cake and brownie slices, and more. They also take custom orders for special occasions, which is great to know for future birthdays or events. We picked up two macaroons (around $6 and change for both). They were delicate, chewy, and our birthday guest enjoyed them! While we didn't personally try them, she gave them a thumbs-up. Even though we don't have any food allergies, I love when a small local spot puts effort into making everyone feel included. Supporting businesses that do that well always feels good. Looking forward to going back soon -- maybe next time for tea and a cupcake.

Cute little spot, basically any kind of tea you could ever want in the entire world - and amazing…read more100% gluten-free decadent desserts! They also have vegan, and dairy free items. So essentially a little bit of something for everyone! When you walk in, you are greeted with a very friendly, hello, and a short wait... Everything I've ever tried here is beyond delicious!

You'd never know it by driving by, but this is a must-stop spot…read more Super cute interior decor, absolutely INCREDIBLE homemade baked goods- don't miss the apple cinnamon roll thing- might have been the best we ever had. Be prepared to share it though. It was ginormous and rich. Delicious coffees, teas, etc. Super friendly, cheerful service. We enjoyed the patio along the side of the building. We did not have the opportunity to try any, but the cakes also looked fantastic.

Cute Vibe and Nice People, But the Food Doesn't Match the Hype (or the Prices)…read more I live right around the corner and I *really* wanted this place to be my neighborhood go-to. The café itself is adorable, the staff is genuinely warm and friendly every time I go in, and the backyard patio is legitimately one of the best outdoor seating spots in the area -- shaded, relaxed, and perfect for lingering with a book or catching up with a friend. That part is spot-on. Unfortunately, the food keeps letting me down. The almond croissants taste exactly like Pillsbury crescent rolls with some almond paste squeezed inside -- flaky but not in the good, buttery, laminated way you expect from a real French-style croissant. The bagels are advertised as "NY-style," flown in from NY - but they're missing that signature chew and density; they're soft and almost bready (and $4.50 a piece!). I've also tried a couple of the sandwiches and they're just... fine. Nothing I'd go out of my way for. The prices are honestly outrageous for what you get. I'm always surprised at how packed the place is, but I guess people are coming for the cute factor and the patio more than the pastries. (I've never tried the coffee, so maybe that's the secret star of the show -- I'll update if I do.) Bottom line: If you're in the neighborhood and want a pretty place to sit outside with friendly counter people, this spot is worth it. Just don't go expecting standout baked goods, sandwiches or bagels. I'm still rooting for them to step it up -- the location and atmosphere deserve better food. Fingers crossed they tighten up their products, because I'd love to become a regular.
