Stopped by one afternoon and got an almond cupcake and a buckeye brownie. Both were delicious. Can't wait to go get more. Yummy.

Friendly stop for gluten-free & dairy-free desserts in Flagler Beach…read more We stopped by Flagler Tea Company mid-morning -- not for tea (though they have plenty!) -- but because at 10am, we were unapologetically on the hunt for dessert. Our son's 20th birthday dinner was later that evening, and since his girlfriend is gluten-free, we wanted to surprise her with something she could enjoy. We chatted with the daughter of the owner, who was so friendly and informative. Her mom (the owner) is gluten-free, but she's not -- so they intentionally aim to make their GF recipes taste as close to the "regular" versions as possible. I really appreciated the care and thought that goes into that! They offer gluten-free and dairy-free treats, including cupcakes, donuts, macaroons, cake and brownie slices, and more. They also take custom orders for special occasions, which is great to know for future birthdays or events. We picked up two macaroons (around $6 and change for both). They were delicate, chewy, and our birthday guest enjoyed them! While we didn't personally try them, she gave them a thumbs-up. Even though we don't have any food allergies, I love when a small local spot puts effort into making everyone feel included. Supporting businesses that do that well always feels good. Looking forward to going back soon -- maybe next time for tea and a cupcake.

Saw an instagram post about their coffees, so decided to take a little drive down 95 to Sunbros. So…read moreglad we did! With it being a holiday weekend, Flagler beach was bustling, but this place has dedicated parking for their customers. Walked in to a welcoming cafe with a mix of tables and lounge seats. Ordering at the counter was easy and our food was brought out timely to what we ordered. Both the coffee and the wrap were delicious! Their menu has a mix of sweet and savory breakfast and lunch items. There was a stage in the corner, so we will have to follow to see when they have love music.

This is such a cute little cafe. It looks tiny from the outside! But there is plenty of place to…read moresit and sip both inside and out. Chairs and tables and comfy couches. I had a lavender iced latte which was pretty good! I was hoping to try the blueberry pancakes one but they were out of the flavors to make it, and also out of the toasted marshmallow flavor so I couldn't try the toasted root beer. So a little sad over that, but the lavender latte was still an absolute win. Plus it was out to me super fast! I also tried a homemade pop tart. That was also really good. I was expecting preserves or similar for the filling though and it wasn't. It was like a strawberry cream cheese filling. Which was good! Just doesn't scream "poptart" to me. The service here is absolutely top tier tho, with no "buts". It's definitely a hometown mom and pop type place and really seems like they care about their community and the employees care about being there. I'll definitely be back. And maybe next time, I'll go earlier in the month when they have a cool flavor of the month so I don't miss out!!! You can't really beat a "coffee. Beach. Bourbon" attitude!

5 Stars: Fried Green Tomato Sandwich on homemade bread & Apple Pie Cinnabon- absolutely no notes…read more Will 100% get these again. 4 stars: Curry Chicken Salad On Croissant (delicious but wish it had a little more curry flavor) Latte was good (loved the art). Mango Iced Juice was okay, but seemed watered down. The outdoor seating area is super cute and cashier was helpful. Definitely a new favorite/recommended place.

Cute Vibe and Nice People, But the Food Doesn't Match the Hype (or the Prices)…read more I live right around the corner and I *really* wanted this place to be my neighborhood go-to. The café itself is adorable, the staff is genuinely warm and friendly every time I go in, and the backyard patio is legitimately one of the best outdoor seating spots in the area -- shaded, relaxed, and perfect for lingering with a book or catching up with a friend. That part is spot-on. Unfortunately, the food keeps letting me down. The almond croissants taste exactly like Pillsbury crescent rolls with some almond paste squeezed inside -- flaky but not in the good, buttery, laminated way you expect from a real French-style croissant. The bagels are advertised as "NY-style," flown in from NY - but they're missing that signature chew and density; they're soft and almost bready (and $4.50 a piece!). I've also tried a couple of the sandwiches and they're just... fine. Nothing I'd go out of my way for. The prices are honestly outrageous for what you get. I'm always surprised at how packed the place is, but I guess people are coming for the cute factor and the patio more than the pastries. (I've never tried the coffee, so maybe that's the secret star of the show -- I'll update if I do.) Bottom line: If you're in the neighborhood and want a pretty place to sit outside with friendly counter people, this spot is worth it. Just don't go expecting standout baked goods, sandwiches or bagels. I'm still rooting for them to step it up -- the location and atmosphere deserve better food. Fingers crossed they tighten up their products, because I'd love to become a regular.
