Frederika is a sweetheart. But the best thing is, she cooks delicious, authentic Greek food, not only cookies, pies and baklava. She makes Pastitsio & Mousakka, stuffed grape leaves, stuffed bell peppers and potatoes, spanakopita, and many things on request. When I eat her food, I can't stop. Also sandwiches, salads, and gyros. The gyros are huge with lots of sauce. She speaks limited English, so don't talk too much, unless it's about food.

Koulorakia cookies I picked up as I waited for the gyros. So happy I found this place.

This hidden little Greek bakery and take-out eatery is awesome! I found it by sheer accident, and since my tummy was rumbling I decided to give it a try. A little old Greek lady mans the whole operation, all by herself. She is so lovely and nice. I ordered four gyros, and picked up some boxes of cookies. I will definitely be going back.

Great gyro sandwiches. I drop by to pick up a sandwich about once a week.

So glad we did. The concept is very Chipotle-style, but for Greek food. You walk down the line and build your meal exactly how you want it: * Choose a base (pita, greens, fries, or rice) * Pick your protein (I went with the traditional gyro; my husband chose the honey balsamic chicken -- and WOW. It was so good I'm ordering that next time.) * Add toppings * Scoop on hummus and feta dips * Finish with sauces Everything tasted fresh and flavorful. My gyro had that classic savory richness you expect, but the honey balsamic chicken completely stole the show -- tender with a sweet-tangy depth that balanced beautifully with the toppings. The space is casual with simple metal seating inside and outside. No table service -- you order at the line and seat yourself -- which makes it easy for a relaxed, relaxed dinner. The staff was especially helpful when we mentioned it was our first time, patiently walking us through options without rushing us. Our total was $40.49 for two people, which felt very reasonable for the portion sizes and quality. We left full and genuinely impressed. They do offer dessert options, but we were too stuffed to try them this round. Fresh, flavorful, customizable, and officially added to our rotation. We'll definitely be back. We actually grabbed dinner here before heading to a wine bar in the same plaza -- perfect combo for a night out.

The place is clean, laid back, and the staff was friendly, making the whole experience easy and enjoyable. The food itself was outstanding. Every bite was bursting with flavor. Brown rice, tender chicken, olives, feta, kale, pickled cabbage, chickpeas, cucumbers, hummus, garlic sauce, and more. It all came together perfectly, and the ingredients tasted crisp and fresh quality. Portions were generous, we should have split a bowls. We left full, happy, and already planning what we'll order next time.

The cozy interior set the tone, and our servers were cheerful and welcoming. We started with ice cold Polish beer while deciding on our meal. The beer was served in perfectly chilled glass with a thin layer of ice which was a great touch. We shared a Greek salad to start. It was incredibly fresh and flavorful, generously loaded with insane amount of feta (no complaints here). For the main, I got the Kielbasa special which came with 4 pierogies (you can mix and match the fillings), Kielbasa sausage and sauerkraut. The potato&cheese pierogies were my favorite, subtle in flavor, perfectly textured and tasted like true homemade comfort food. The sauerkraut was also hands down some of the best I've ever had. Sadly I have no room to try desserts. This was the best meal of my entire trip, and I'll absolutely be back to try more dishes if I'm in town.

Gaufre's & Goods is tucked away down a back street so if you're not looking for it you most likely will miss it. We came in for a late lunch but were not looking for something super heavy so this was perfect. I started off with a Hevelius Kaper Beer which I really enjoyed. They also had a lot of other Greek and Polish beers that I had never heard of so you gotta try one. For my entree I originally was going to go with the Gyro but then I saw that they have Goulash which I very much enjoy but rarely can find it. Our food came out pretty quickly and I was give a large bowl of Goulash as well as some fresh bread. Ashley of course went with a Mix of Pierogies and added bacon & onions to it. My Goulash was very flavor and dipping the bread in the broth was great. I will say it was thinner then other Goulash's I have had. This was more of a broth base where I enjoy a bit of a thicker stew type. Still something I would recommend getting especially with the limited option we have in the area and this will hit the spot. Ashley also did get a order of Blackberry Pierogies that I never got to try since she ran off with it after we got back to where we were staying. This is for sure a great family restaurant you have to check out.

I decided on a sparkling rose flavored water for my drink (6 dollars since it was non alcoholic). It was floral and refreshing, with the bubbles as expected. For my entree, I did the chicken Aegean with rice and spinach (20 dollars + 3 upcharge for spinach). The dish reminded me of chicken Parmesan as it looked breaded and had a good amount of cheese. There was quite a bit of tomato sauce in the bottom as well. It was nicely portioned and quite enjoyable. The rice and spinach tasted Mediterranean with the herbs and spices used, which I really enjoyed. I saved some home to enjoy later. I skipped dessert as it was getting late. The service was quick and prompt. I decided to rush a bit since it was getting close to closing time and I didn't want to hold them up. The dining area looked charming, and I think there was outdoor seating with view of the park and fountain. Greek music was played in the background. Krazy Greek is a very nice restaurant near the 5th Street area. It's pretty affordable and their mocktail was good too. Parking was easy as I came a bit late, but it can get crowded if you go during busy hours. It is definitely worth a visit for great Greek food in the Lake Mary area. Overall: A-

They did have some good specials going on. We placed our order. Our entree came out but our appetizer never came. We had ordered dolmades!!! When I questioned her about it she realized she had never put the order in for them. That's the one reason for the 3 stars this time, I'll get to the other reason shortly. She was very apologetic about it all and did give us a free desert cookie. The food was very good and great flavor. Her chicken was amazing as usual as that is my usual dish there. I decided in the grouper. Got it blackened. She had asked if I wanted a sauce and decided in the island style sauce. It did not have any island spice of flavor. And come to find out later when got the bill it was a $5 up charge for said sauce. Wish I had known that when ordering. Will I be back, absolutely I will. And will I try something different next time, probably. But definitely check this place out in Lake Mary
