Nice clean store and beautiful pastry case (apparently there's a domino room - need to check that out). I took a selection of things home and they were all delicious - the torticas were so good (I may have eaten one before I got home - don't tell hubby ) as was the pina colada pastry. My fave was the beef pastry - flaky pastry surrounding the most delicious and flavorful beef filling! This is a small, family-owned restaurant, so there can sometimes be a wait--but trust me, the food and service are 100% worth waiting for! We love to try new things, German/ Polish food on the beach was certainly new…read more We walked in and were greeted and seated immediatley. The server explained she was training a new person. This was his first night and was equally as good as the primary server, except he had to get help on a few questions we had that related to how to use certain sauces etc. And he got the help very quickly. We started with the pork belly. Fried crispy on the outside and still tender on the inside. It was served with what looked like marinara, but it had an amazing spice mixture in it. Spices as in seasoning, not heat. The best pork belly I have ever had, I could eat just this, and if I were alone it would be enough. We had a cup of hunters soup and polish mushroom soup. Both were very good. I would skip those next time to save room for other things, but only because I would rather eat other things. There were enough tables to seat quite a few people without overcrowding anyone. As a main course we decided to split the polish sampler. 2 potato pancakes, 2 cabbage rolls, 8 perogies and a polish sausage. We didn't know how big the sausage would be so we ordered a side, we did not need it. There was so much food, we did not finish it all and my wife had some for lunch the next day, and still there was leftovers. The place is hidden in a 3 story shopping center, but well worth looking for.

The man taking our order was patient and helped us make selections for our meal. After paying we headed out to the lovely patio. I ordered a bowl and my sister ordered a gyro and neither of us were able to finish our food. The fries were honestly the highlight - top tier French fries! I can't wait to stop in again.

We found Filo almost by accident -- my husband had a work event at a wine bar in the same plaza,…read moreand as we were leaving and debating where to grab a late dinner, we saw this spot and decided to give it a try. So glad we did. The concept is very Chipotle-style, but for Greek food. You walk down the line and build your meal exactly how you want it: * Choose a base (pita, greens, fries, or rice) * Pick your protein (I went with the traditional gyro; my husband chose the honey balsamic chicken -- and WOW. It was so good I'm ordering that next time.) * Add toppings * Scoop on hummus and feta dips * Finish with sauces Everything tasted fresh and flavorful. My gyro had that classic savory richness you expect, but the honey balsamic chicken completely stole the show -- tender with a sweet-tangy depth that balanced beautifully with the toppings. The space is casual with simple metal seating inside and outside. No table service -- you order at the line and seat yourself -- which makes it easy for a relaxed, relaxed dinner. The staff was especially helpful when we mentioned it was our first time, patiently walking us through options without rushing us. Our total was $40.49 for two people, which felt very reasonable for the portion sizes and quality. We left full and genuinely impressed. They do offer dessert options, but we were too stuffed to try them this round. Fresh, flavorful, customizable, and officially added to our rotation. We'll definitely be back. We actually grabbed dinner here before heading to a wine bar in the same plaza -- perfect combo for a night out.
