A DeLand staple. These donuts are absolutely everything. My favorite are cake batter anything. I love how creative they are with flavors and aren't afraid to try something new. Be aware, these donuts are so good and fresh they often sell out fast so if you want to secure yourself some, make sure you get there early. The bacon egg and cheese croissant sandwich absolutely delicious. Excellent friendly service every time. read more

Always greeted with a smile, and super friendly. A small little hole in the wall and from what I've read a DeLand staple. Fresh cake batter donuts ? Count me in! Whenever I have time in the morning, always love to stop by and see what is left. Yes sometimes there isn't much selection due to being a couple hours in but everything is always fresh and I find out if I like something new. The doughnuts I was able to get were delicious. The store was clean and the people were nice. However, there was a very limited selection at 9am and they shared that they sell out early because they open early. I could understand having limited supplies in the afternoon for a doughnut place, but I was very disappointed at the selection only 2 hours into the day. read more

The breakfast sandwiches are really good here. Way better than the bagel shop a block up. There are a few places to sit inside but I think most people get their orders to go. The people that work there are very nice. Get there early if you want donuts. They sell out early. read more

I should of read the yelp reviews before visiting Mr Bill. Some reviewers states to arrive early in the morning or you'll miss out on the donuts. I got there 9am and got the crumbs. I guess in the donut game, 9am is not early enough. I know quality control is important but come on, your a donut shop. You sell donuts. If your running out of donuts, make more donuts. Outside of my ranting, I met the owner, and he was really nice and cordial. I did manage to get six donuts that I have no clue what they were since these are the crumbs that did not sell. These are just ok and pricey. I might try this place again if I'm in the downtown Deland, FL area at 6am. read more

Had to try this place out before I left Deland and I'm so glad I did! I got a bacon egg and cheese on a new Yorker bagel (Asiago with sesame and oregano). They didn't have many donuts left cause if you don't come at open then good luck but I did grab a glazed cake an apple cider and nah that apple cider was the best ever! I must say this is what I grew up to in NY , fresh bagels and as I became a teenager eggs with bacon on it blessed my soul . I'm on a business trip and I always try local spot so I feel like home . I asked the hotel attendant what's the best local breakfast spot and she immediately said MR Bills donut and I thought to myself I got to try it . You know there are basically 3 donuts places in this area. I dont live in the area but wanted to try one out. I walked in and saw very little as far as product at 8:30. What I saw was a selection that even walmart could beat out as far as varity. Because of the lack of product and what I did see was basically average dunkin donut type donuts but less of them I have to give them a low score for making me drive there to see nothing. Come on if I wanted a crap selection and crap donuts I would have gone to dunkin donuts down the street. read more

So I gotta start by admitting that I didn't have any of the donuts (shocking right?!) I promised my coworker a grilled cheese and stopped by the first place where I saw those on the menu. Upon waking in, I was immediately hit but possibly the most heavenly smell I have experienced (excluding my mother's house after she makes Sunday lunch and Krispy Kreme of course). The place is old fashioned with a counter in the front of the store and a seating area I wouldn't have noticed if I wasn't wandering around waiting for my food. The menu was easy to understand with plenty of easy to understand choices and the lady who helped me was friendly and helpful. After about 10 minutes my burger and grill cheese were ready. The food itself I'll give a good solid meh. While certainly edible my burger was nothing to write home about. It was hot it was food, but I wasn't particularly hungry, and it wasn't particularly great. Would I recommend this place? Maybe. I'll probably try it again for breakfast and let these people do what they do best but overall I'd say for lunch it's a safe bet if you don't want anything too exciting but you not looking to be particularly disappointed either read more

So, my 3rd grade daughter has a project for school with 4 questions to ask a local business. We woke up early because she wanted to do her project on this place. This business closes before she is out of school for the day..... so we woke up early to do it before school then. I called just to let them know we were coming in. I was told, by a very rude sounding woman that they would have no time. It's a small town and it's incredible to me that they could not find a few mins to answer a couple of questions. Apparently they are too good for that. I will not be giving them any business from here on out read more

Everything arrived in good condition, which is always a win with delivery. I personally had the shrimp tempura roll and the shoyu ramen. The tempura roll was excellent, crispy, fresh, and didn't get soggy during delivery (which feels like a small miracle). The shoyu was also really flavorful with a rich, savory broth that definitely hit the spot. Everyone in the group seemed happy with their picks, and the variety made it easy to find something for different tastes. Overall, a reliable delivery option when you're craving sushi and ramen without leaving the house. Would order again.
