That monkey bread with fruit is so awesome!
Justin M.

Not bad for a hotel restaurant. Only had breakfast but would try dinner. The shrimp and grits were ok little weird tasting witb the toppings. They couldn't make over easy eggs both times came out raw whites which didn't bother me but shouldn't be that way. The potatoes were great. The steak and eggs was not good either. Given I went to a Michelin place the night before so kind of hard to compete. The kfc chicken sandwich was not good either. Too much slaw not much to the chicken and not enough sauce flavor. The one super great thing was the monkey bread! Don't ever see that outside my mother's house. This was a step up in comparison. Reason for 4 stars otherwise would be 3

The Corner office is a cute location for after work drinks or dinner. Their drink have fun names like "per my last email." The drinks were made well and service was tad on the slow side, so enjoy the experience rather than rushing through. Crème brûlée was delicious!

Pass on this one. Arrived moments before happy hour ended-which was a blessing since the drinks are very overpriced. Happy Hour wine was $8 a glass and was a good blend of two white wines. Servers were nice and attentive. What was really bad is that there was NO circulating air on a hot day in Denver. Additionally, while sitting at the bar, there was a horrible stench that wafted from behind the bar into the air. Perhaps it was a bar rag or wet food trapped in a pipe, with the lack of air circulation this was yuck.

Surprisingly I've not been to this place to eat before. I've stayed at the hotel that it sits under several times for work and have definitly had drinks here, but this was the first time eating here. The environment is really relaxed and modern. I really appreciated the vibe here. The wait staff was also friendly and prompt. We had met some friends here for a bit and some drinks. I ordered hot Fried chicken sandwich which was fairly sizable and definitly tasty. Would recommend this a s a nice place to meet-up with people and good Food/drink!

We decided to try the Corner Office before heading across the street to see "The Book of Mormon." We arrived at the restaurant two hours before the show, thinking this would give us plenty of time. The hostess was pleasant and seated us quickly. However, the service was slow because many other diners had the same idea. We got our first round of drinks in a reasonable amount of time, but the food took about an hour to arrive at our table. The waitress was friendly but rarely checked in on us--our table of four ordered two grilled cheese sandwiches with tomato soup and two salmon dishes. We rushed through dinner and could not find a server to help us pay the check. With 15 minutes before the curtain, we found our waitress and got out. The salmon was cooked perfectly, but fewer than five spears of asparagus accompanied it. The flavor of the ancho chili and cream was good, but I still felt hungry. There were probably fewer than 4 ounces of protein on the plate. Given the price, you would expect a bit more value.

We went here on a Saturday night at 6:30pm after our first choice, Olive & Finch informed us they were on a 30-min delay for drinks and an hour delay for food. With having to be at a show at the Bellco theater within the hour, that simply wasn't going to work and thus the choice of this place. We were seated in a cozy section with comfy chairs and our server was attentive and quick. Our food also came really quick which was great. We ordered the poke bowl and the bison chorizo bolognese, both of which were tasty and well portioned! I didn't realize the bolognese was a white bolognese (very easily could have been I was not paying enough attention to the menu due to dining with a friend I haven't seen in a couple months). My only other experience with a white bolognese was not good, so I was slightly worried when I saw it put down but it was really quite tasty and now has me wondering if just that one experienced was bad and I shouldn't have fully written off white bolognese.

Punching Out cocktail grapefruit vodka cocktail

Cute corner office themed drinks and menu. The punching out cocktail was very grapefruit centric. Tart and sweet but not too sweet. The salmon was perfectly done and the chimichuri on the top was delightful. It was served over rice ( maybe pasta? I couldn't telll) and grilled broccoli with green beans and cherry tomatoes. These were flavorful but cold. The food came out rapid fire.my entire dinner experience was under 30 minutes. Service was fast and efficient.

It's always 5 o'clock.

We ate breakfast everyday during our stay at the Curtis hotel. The breakfast options are diverse and creative. The service was great and consistent with everyone we saw during our stay. Like the hotel, this place is eclectic with themes centered around an office environment. They do offer lunch and dinner but we didn't sample those menus.

Well, it has been a few years so I figure, time for an update. And with that, not much has been updated with the business. The Corner Office does have an outdoor patio but only for use during the summertime/warmer weather months. The other downside being that the patio sits along 14th. Hello car exhaust and street noise. The food was good (5 stars!) The classic Grilled Cheese with Tomato Bisque was a safe bet and it was a good choice. The bisque was delicious!!! The specialty drinks are also nice to pair dinner with but typical downtown pricy. A drink served in an 8oz Coupe starts at $19. Words to the wise......Don't go if you're thirsty.

Came to have an early dinner before our show. The place is well located and easy to find from the theater houses. The aesthetic looks like sort of retro, very cool decorations. The service was excellent. We got there before rush hour and our server was still on top of things considering how busy she was. As far as food I wasn't super impressed. It was good but nothing out of this world (except for the tomato bisque), although they do offer vegetarian/vegan options. For appetizer we ordered the crispy cauliflower, it was tasty and good combination of flavors. For dinner I ordered the jackfruit gyro. I've had jackfruit before and this one was lacking flavor compared to other dishes I've had with jackfruit. My friend had the grilled cheese and tomato bisque (the bisque was to die for). For dessert we had the vanilla crème brûlée it was tasty but eggy. Overall great experience.

Of all the places in Denver around the performing arts center it may not have been my first pick. However if you're in a hurry or don't have much time be fore the curtain raises its a good spot. It is part of a hotel so that's the vibe. The food is good as are the drinks. The menu isn't massive and the choices have a nice diversity. All of the staff is very nice and the food comes out quick.

Made it in just in time before HH was over, which runs 4-5pm, a literal hour, but it wasn't so happy. Servers were friendly and attentive but there was zero air circulation/AC on in the restaurant on a 80+ degree day. Too stuffy for my taste, so I drank my white wine and left in search of a cooler venue.

Delicious salad!

Every time we go to an event at The Denver Center for Performing Arts and we want a place to eat before or after the show, we go to The Corner Office. It's right across the street from the DCPA, the food is delicious and they have wonderful cocktails! The staff are friendly, and they are also very mindful of timing, so they can get you out on time for your show. The Corner Office decor is funky - very mid century modern inspired - bright colors and Ball clocks. They are right next door to the equally funky and original Curtis Hotel. So, it's a great place to get a meal when you're staying at the Curtis. One of my favorite things to eat on a cold day is their Grilled Cheese and Tomato Bisque (that soup is so delicious and creamy). I also love their Braised Shortrib & TCO Burger which is served on a challah bun! I've been to The Corner Office Disco Brunch which was a lot of fun. I saw on their website that they now have something called 'Brunch through the Decades'. Every weekend they celebrate a different time period by playing music from that time period. You can dress up for possible treats. That sounds right up my alley!

It's all about a great location. Otherwise not so much. Not the service or food or price or the pace.

Ask the Community - The Corner Office Restaurant + Martini Bar

Is it dog friendly?

Hi Jenn, thank you for reaching out! We only allow service animals at this time.

Hi I was wondering if this place has a happy hour? Will be staying at the hotel in April, just wondering (-:

Yes, they do starting at 3 pm.

Do they have a kid's menu?

They do they do! Good options too like cheese quesadilla, cheese burger, chicken tenders and it all comes with soda and cotton candy

Other times I'm just in the mood for a cocktail that reminds me why I don't waste my time at places that think whiskey and cola is "craft." This visit was all about the cocktails, and Seven Grand absolutely delivered. Josh, our bartender, was running the room like a conductor leading an orchestra of happy whiskey drinkers. He asked what we liked, made a couple of recommendations for Old Fashioneds based on our preferences, and absolutely nailed it. Every drink was balanced, flavorful, and dangerously easy to sip. The guy knows his whiskey, knows his cocktails, and somehow still manages to make everyone at the bar feel like they're his only customer. The whiskey selection is enough to make a bourbon nerd lose all sense of financial responsibility, but surprisingly, we escaped without needing to refinance the house. If Josh doesn't own Seven Grand, someone should probably look into fixing that. Until then, I'll keep showing up to "try just one drink"... knowing full well that's a lie I tell myself every single time. Highly recommend. Just don't blame me when two hours mysteriously disappear.

They've gotten do much busier though. There must've been over 30 people at the bar getting drinks. But the 4 bartenders at the bar were slinging them out quickly. Even though they were fast the drinks were extremely well made and the customer service wad amazing. The ambiance was great!! Everyone was here to have a good time. But no one was overly rowdy or raucous. People were friendly and conversational but stayed in their lanes also. Even though all these years have passed. And the pandemic has ravaged many businesses. The quality and service here still makes this place one of the best whiskey bars around!!!

Could be easy to miss if you aren't looking, although during our visit they had a sign out on the sidewalk so not completely speakeasy. Mentioning we could sit anywhere then coming up to order. They have the bar area with some seating in that room as well as additional seating in another area to the side too. By far one of the nicer bartenders we encountered, with who we had a great chat with. On top of that the bartender threw in some flair with his drink making throwing the shakers and such, turning it into more of a show. My wife got their Woah Blackberry, gin based fruit forward drink with great flavor. I got the Spicy Margarita that brought just the right amount of heat to it! Now the life of the party is lost like a chicken McNugget dropped in the ball pit of a McDonald's play place. What's left is a random collection of half-baked ideas by management with no understanding of a music scene whose ever-changing themes seem copied from the websites of clubs in Europe, or maybe, Alabama, who knows? Go upstairs and things are worse with a Janky wanna-be suburban gangsta DJ playing pre-recorded mixes from songs that were obviously ripped from YouTube, and shooting monopoly money from toy guns like an anamatronic rat at Chick E. Cheezy's. Anything that was truly edgy and cool has now been thrown out and replaced by pure neglect, promos slapped together by some AI they didn't even bother buying a subscription to--you know, the basic version which is completely on brand--reduced to a desperate cash grab. This is apparent as soon as you step over puddles of urine and walk in the door, and through the fake metal detector (and oh yeah, then over sand bags and puddles from sewer pipes that overflow because the owner is too cheap to invest in repairs or ensure customer safety), finally into a building that is in disrepair. Yeah, it's a vibe from a backwater dancehall in Khazakhstan but unintentionally, not so much as a place of entertainment. Almost everything, and I mean everything in the venue is old, outdated, or broken, from the ATM (you'd be crazy to trust that anyway) and arcade games, to the club rooms with broken, non-working club lights, and again pipes that drip and leak (you'll literally see buckets on the middle of the dance floor, and garbage bags draped over the DJ booths and the bar--and no, they don't sanitize after these accidents, evveeeer. The place is in disrepair and what used to be rooms with cool decor are now just generic and dirty looking as basic cleanliness is non-existent--the whole venue reeks the moment you walk in. Most worrisome is the lack of security (good luck finding anyone if you need help after you get past the door person) making the disorganized chaos feel unsafe and gross and anything but exciting. While Milk was once a cool and celebrated part of the Denver club scene up until a few years before the pandemic, the owner has obviously lost touch with reality and has no sense of loyalty to a clientele and commujity who made his clubs successful. But this has been a long time coming as Milk has been on the slow and steady decline for years. Over the last year the place has spiraled into a complete free fall with the last regular DJs pushed out and replaced by amateurs like the dude who needs a platform to stand on whose sets sound like a complication of greatest hits CDs played on random, with no theme or identity. The events and nights seem thrown together at the last minute, like you know splattered against the wall to see what will stick, but it's stinking instead. Its consistency, its soul, its relevance is gone. Most damning and reflective is the point several other reviewers have made about the vibe of sexism that exudes like the toxic masculinity that produces it from those who run this place as it's almost all male managers, DJs and bartenders, with a few women in the lowest, menial positions. And that obvious bias and grossness speaks volumes! My humble advice: save your night, your money, your self-respect and conscience choosing instead to support venues and spaces that actually know something about loyalty and principles other than greed and pettiness, which actually cares about and respects its patrons and customers.
