What a fantastic time I had in Phoenix, and the hospitality from the staff at The Clarendon Hotel was truly exceptional! My room was amazing, and the atmosphere of this fun little boutique hotel made my stay even more enjoyable. What I loved most was how LGBTQ+ friendly it is. As someone visiting a new city alone, I felt welcomed and embraced by everyone. And let me tell you, it was hot - both in terms of the weather and the vibrant energy of the place! I've already booked my second stay for October during Pride weekend, and I couldn't be more excited to return. If you're looking for an amazing experience at a great hotel that's smaller and close to everything, this is the place for you. The Clarendon is friendly, engaging, and has everything you need - a fantastic restaurant, a lively bar, a relaxing spa, and an awesome pool. Highly recommend!

If ever stay at the Clarendon Hotel in Phoenix, Arizona, you're in for a culinary treat at their hidden gem of a restaurant, Azlin. Every dish I've tried has been uniquely flavorful and absolutely delicious ( second time staying here) The chef's mastery in crafting rich, well-balanced flavors is truly remarkable. It's a place that deserves far more recognition, and I hope more people discover this exceptional dining experience. I haven't checked the reviews, but if food lovers haven't raved about it yet, they certainly should!

Nice pool not busy. I did not get in , but nice to hang out at night. The place is old, but they tried to give it a face lift; poor job, the entrance door floor needs help. Poor lighting in the restroom. The bed was comfortable and big.small restroom. I saw a small roach in the restroom in the middle of the night, I killed it; I wish I had a picture. I believe my window is near the outside speakers so later in the day they play loud music all day. The neighborhood is nice ,you can get to anywhere in minutes .My husband is tall and 204 lbs so the bed was a big deal.If I choose to come here again, it would be because of the bed.

Overdue review from the last trip. We picked this hotel because it's quite close to Hubby's niece. The hotel is nice and pretty from the outside. The front desk is small, and there's no specific lobby area where guests can rest in the lobby. If they need rest, they have to go straight to the room. However, they can relax in the lounge area where the restaurant is, but the lounge is loud at night due to live music. The room is alright because they use Dr. Meyer's hand soap. The body wash, shampoo, and conditioner were good products, although I wasn't sure what brand they used for these. My skin can't handle certain products with chemicals, so these are good. The body towels are smaller than regular towels. The air conditioner or heater is ok, but I prefer a quieter one. The breakfast burrito was amazing. It was a mini-size burrito, but the way they prepared it was one of the best. I couldn't believe that I could have the best burrito here. They give out burritos at the front desk. The front desk staffers are helpful and friendly. Beautiful pool!

My fiancée and I stayed at the Clarendon Hotel and it was a horrible experience. This place is perverted and nasty, because they will video tape and take photos while you are in bed. What they call 420 or smoking rooms on 2nd floor are rigged with cameras. We were sleep and woke up to flashes from a camera then complained to the front desk and they did nothing and were not surprised. I filed a complaint with manager with no response. I now have a class action lawsuit and if you had a similia experience then join me in a class action law suit by contacting : Law Offices of Bertrand Russell Jr. Contact Info 2500 E. Thomas Rd. Pros: The pre check in made everything more effortless and quick. The staff was quick to check me in and super friendly. The lobby did not smell like cannabis! The pool appeared cleaned and my room smelt like cleaning supplies. The bed and pillows are so comfortable I had no trouble falling asleep. The shower had great water pressure and the water was hot!! Cons: The standard room (non cannabis room) appeared nice, however, on further inspection, I noticed water stains on the walls and a crack with badly applied plaster. The AC is loud and sometimes it would squeak. My room did not have a dead bolt so it was missing that extra sense of security. The room was dark, I only had two lamps that worked. The light between the room and the bathroom needed a lightbulb change as it would not turn on. If you wanted snacks or water you would have to go to the lobby. I had a chair but no desk. Lastly, I was missing the amenities such as a microwave or in room coffee pot. Fee transparency: 22.50 destination fee per day. 10 dollars to park (free if you park on the street!)

This place prides itself for being an adult only, over 21 cannabis boutique hotel. And you are paying for that experience. Why do you need a hotel room that offers you only one chair, an iron with no ironing board, only two hangers for clothes so you and your friend could share? Some people want a telephone and drawers,or a fridge and an ice bucket, but why? This amazing boutique hotel has an unforgettable room! The concrete wall, and laminate flooring exudes boutique. The sound from the air conditioner and outside activities, let's you know that your money is worth it here when you choose to stay with them. Our bathroom is supplied with boutique dove products. The shower curtain is hung low, so that it drapes in the tub for you to enjoy. We love the marks left on the shower walls, and imagine what fun times were had here. Definitely check out the wires under the desk in your room, it is a piece of art that rivals the ones displayed on the walls. The Clarendon boutique hotel deserves to be a staple for those who seek a hotel room that is rented out by the hour, instead of the night. Great water pressure and the hot water is supplied with little time waiting. We enjoyed the rooftop bar, two cans of beer for $14 or mixed drinks at $14 each. Bottle water is $2 in the lobby. We did locate a Safeway supermarket nearby and purchased our necessities and libations. Thank you Clarendon for this unforgettable experience in your boutique hotel. We are so glad that we got to stay here and share our incredible memories with friends.

Two weeks ago, my world shifted in a way I wasn't prepared for. What started as a lump in my throat…read moreturned into three after an ultrasound, and now I'm facing the uncertainty of what comes next. The stress, the fear; it all settled deep into my neck and shoulders, leaving me in constant pain. My husband booked me a massage at Clovr Spa in Phoenix, and I truly don't have the words to fully capture what that experience meant to me. Anabel is nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment the session began, she seemed to understand exactly what my body (and honestly, my mind) needed. She worked through layers of tension I didn't even realize I was holding onto. But more than that, she gave me something I hadn't had in weeks: peace. For one full hour, I wasn't thinking about test results or worst-case scenarios. I wasn't bracing myself for what might come next. I was simply present, breathing, and finally...finally...relaxed. When I left, the physical relief was incredible, but the emotional reset was just as powerful. I felt lighter. Calmer. Stronger. If you are carrying stress, pain, or just the weight of life, do yourself a favor and book with Anabel at Clovr. It's more than a massage. it's a moment of healing you didn't know you needed. I walked in overwhelmed and hurting. I walked out feeling like I could breathe again.

Overall, I'm quite happy with my experience and may come back. I got a same-day appointment online…read morefor a shorter massage and gua sha enhancement for a reasonable price. The treatment was nice! My only not so stellar experience with her was she had no idea what kind of oil she was using when I asked her. That was very strange. She said she would have to ask and get back to me. They have a monthly membership they push, and it was mentioned to me several times. If you have never been to a spa before, it's quite common to be upsold on products and services. I'm familiar with it, and I have no problem saying no, but want to mention to folks who are considering coming who may not be familiar so it's not surprising when it happens. Typically they stop if you say no, and this was my experience here so it was fine. The location is awesome and there is enough to do here to keep you occupied for a couple hours. You could really make a whole day of it if you get a couple services, want to do some shopping or browsing, and a meal. Speaking of food, it's worth mentioning they have a little tea and snack bar in the lobby. The furniture here is not that comfortable and does not feel cozy. I don't think they designed it to actually keep people here longer than a few mins, so it's not a spa lounge by any means but has the basics you'd expect for spa treats like water, tea, and a few snacks. I may be back! Admittedly, we are pretty spoiled for choice here in Phoenix of nice spas. But the location here really is good!
