As a minimalist and a lover of art, I found the Moxy downtown to be outstanding. Every detail is though of as far as branding and theme-beautiful, quirky artwork and furniture that both serves a functional purpose as well as contributes to the aesthetic. The staff are friendly-most specifically Aiden, the bartender, who will become your best friend as he makes you your favorite drink. The rooms are incredibly compact with just the necessities. This isn't the place for you to stretch out and enjoy a ton of space. But if you're ok with the basics and don't need to run back and forth across your room, you'll be just fine. read more

Only reason four stars is because the rooms are small and that's probably my bad on booking the room for 2 people and traveling with lots of luggage. I will say you're greeted with great employees very clean. Rooms were very clean ( surprisingly one of the cleanest rooms) air conditioner works amazingly super cold. The hotel is very close to walk all restaurants and things to do for downtown. We were there for a concert and then traveling to another state the next morning. they do have valet. It's a little pricey, but it's easier to do trying to find your own parking in downtown Phoenix. They do have a restaurant in the hotel. We didn't try it. I would definitely recommend this if you're going downtown for concerts or some kind of event and you don't wanna drive. read more

Great location to downtown; walkable distance from many night light spots and restaurants for all occasions. The only reason I cannot give 5 stars is because there is a train right on the street, if you are a light sleeper, you'll be miserable. It runs I notice 4 am ish to midnight. It is a small hotel marketed as being sustainable and economically friendly so don't expect a 1000 sq ft suite. Perfect for solo travels, they do have a two queen bed room option but the beds are "micro queens" think an XL full size bed. So a family of 2 adults and 2 children may be tight. Room refreshing offered by request but they has a refresh closet at the end of each floor for needs such as iron, ironing board, toiletries, and extra blankets and pillows. All staff I encountered were amazing including the bar! Would definitely recommend. read more

Our first time here and we were here for a few days. It's clean, drink and food options. Very cool inside besides the hallways. Everyone is really kind. It's great location for so many events in the heart of Phoenix. We love valet parking with Steven, thank you Steven for always remembering us and always so kind and easy to talk too, it was not only his job to get our cars but he really enjoyed his night shift. We can't wait to come back. read more

Hotel is O.K. not worth the price! When we checked in, there was a minimal line, guy was being trained, we were suppose to be "EDIT MEMBERS" they didn't offer any of our perks. $100 credit, breakfast etc. this hotel was NOT an upscale hotel. it was dark and "low budget." your better off going to other marriott properties next door. Towels were trash and thin, outlets didn't work in rooms, and for an "elite status" we got a view of the roof of the train area' we asked about the "upgrade" due to status and was told our room was automatically assigned. we all know could be changed. not worth the price, service or valet person waiting around for tip when car was left out at curb line.....horrible experience read more

This hotel is so darling! I love the decor and it happened to be Halloween season so they incorporated some fun Halloween themed decor. The tokens you get for the bar are an added plus. The staff were very accommodating and really nice. It was nice to be greeted by them every day. I strongly look forward to going back. Some things is worth noting is that the rooms don't have a fridge, at least the ones that we stayed in. Parking is also not included so you will need to either park their valet at a fee or in a paid lot. I will save this place as close to a lot of restaurants and other things to do so that is nice and outweigh the cost of parking if you are ok walking and or taking rideshare places. read more

This place is so cute and chic! Stayed here while we went to the Giants vs Dbacks game on a Thursday. This hotel was 7mins walking to the stadium and across the street from popular restaurants and bars. This place is definitely unique with how they decorated the place and the rooms. They have a full bar in the lobby and food options if you need a late night snack. Our beds were comfortable and the noice wasn't too bad either for being very close to the night life outside. We would stay here again if needed. read more

The hotel is beautiful with lots of fun artsy decor. The area of Phoenix is trendy and walking distance from lots of great eateries. Very trendy vibes. Valet right up front is convenient. Check in took forever. There was no one else in line. Holding all of bags and belongings while anxious to get to our room - the guy didn't know how to check us in. The bed was a disappointment. Expedia listed the bed as a queen. It was not. It was a full at best. Sleeping two adults was not comfortable. The blanket on the bed was scratchy and thin. We were freezing. It's a very hip upscale place, rooms are a little small but cozy, I would make sure at check in if you have a room on the street side since the trolley goes by about every 30-45min until midnight, however the staff was great at helping out with some free earplugs. The downstairs bar is certainly lively on Friday and Saturday nights and they have a great little corner store selection of cocktails for the room and snacks. read more

Located on the intersection of 2 trains. I was on the 8th floor and the noise was unworkable for me. The backside has a industrial building with a loud compressor. I ended up using noise canceling headphones and piping in music and still never had even ok sleep. I would never stay here if you appreciate sleep. Vibe is urban youth hostel. read more

Clean and cute hotel! A nice place to stay downtown Phoenix with lots of restaurants nearby to walk to. Be aware that there is a light rail close by but it did not bother us as the ac fan kept us cool and muted the train noise. read more

I always love partying with the Moxy Brand! This hotel is always located in the downtown of cities. If you're traveling solo, this place is def for you! If you aren't too big on having the huge amenities & just simplicity - then you'll enjoy it here! Def gives a hostel type vibe. Love the Moxy. 1st time stay in AZ property. Elleigh is the best. Small tiny minor issue in the room, she took care of it immediately. I've stayed at the Moxy in Seattle, Dallas, Atlanta, etc., etc., etc.... Love um. The Vibe is the best, rooms are Clean, other bar guests are the best, goose and tonics are fab. I have a certain expectation when staying at a Moxy...... it's always the best. Great place to pull out the puter and work. Oh, Elleigh is the best! read more

Walked in here on 7/4 and it was dead, which was beautiful. No loud or drunk strangers, just the bartender, staff, me and my wife. The drinks were above dive bar quality but not impressive, price was about expected. The vibe is chill, bar is clean and the lighting is perfect. This place is a joke! The city view you pay xtra for is looking over a parking structure. Half of the amenities don't work. Don't waste your money here. No ice, no coffeemaker, no refrigerator, no microwave, no closet, no ironing board or iron (there is one in the hall for everyone on the floor to use).
