Great location, easy access to several food options and activities. The staff is super friendly. We had some issues with a few rooms and the front desk corrected it right away. The rooms were clean and housekeeping was on point. One of the nights our group stopped at the bar for a drink. The server at the bar seemed like she didn't want to be there. Then Katya showed up and changed up the whole dynamic. She chatted with us, gave us recommendations, engaged everyone at the bar and made it a fun evening! She introduced us to a few new drinks and food which was very much appreciated.

In the heart of downtown Phx its rooms are perfect size has excellent accommodations really close to the airport. The staff was very accommodating they allowed an early checkin I just arrived from Hawaii so I was extremely Jet lagged. I would recommend this hotel if you're in Phx

I had a nice stay at the AC, fast service at the front desk, very quiet room with a great view of downtown and I loved the fitness center which also has fabulous views and is well equipped and maintained. Note that in the summer the fitness center is warm in the afternoon as it faces west, so prepare to sweat more than usual. Parking, like all downtown hotels is expensive at $35/day and you do have to walk outside briefly on a mostly shaded walkway. The room was modern and well equipped and the bed was comfortable, though a bit softer than I am used to.

Stayed here for 4 nights of a conference. Liked that the location was close to everything downtown and local busses. Uber drivers didn't have issues getting there. The room was nice but the window view was not. Room service was fast, water got hot, and AC worked! I've slept in more confortable beds. No microwave but that was okay. Lobby was nice. Staff was cool.

Have stayed here multiple times for work and it is always clean and well maintained. If you're on a lower floor, ask for rooms facing the street as the rooms facing inward toward the shopping center are right on top of gigantic air conditioning units that are always running as it's Phoenix after all.

This property is modern, clean and comfortable. The lobby was stylish with plenty of seating. They offered a small breakfast area with hot food. The location is close to the convention center, shopping, ASU, dining, etc. The bed / bath were clean and well stocked. They offered free bottled waters in the room. The bed was super comfy and despite what the other reviews said, there was plenty of hot water.

Such amazing staff! Mia D and Kennedy were so welcoming and friendly. My fiancé and I were visiting AZ and touring wedding venues, which came up while checking into the hotel. A few moments later we were gifted a very generous box and breakfast voucher from Mia and Kennedy!! Small gestures make the biggest difference- thank you both for putting a smile on our faces!!

This hotel was just ok. I'll preface it by saying I did not utilize the gym, downstairs bar/restaurant area, or any other amenities. The bad: you have to pay $20+ for parking in a nearby garage. The elevators are scary - they make grinding/clunking noises and I saw the elevator flashing "communications failure" several times. So a little bit sketchy there. The room had zero hot water. It was lukewarm at best - and that's being generous. The AC also struggled to keep up, and this was the last week of November so it's not like it's 100+ degrees outside. Additionally, both my husband and I agreed we did not get a good nights sleep here - we were both very restless so comfort wise, this place was very meh. The bathroom has refillable body wash, shampoo, and conditioner bottles. I believe the body wash & the shampoo were filled with the same stuff - because they had the same exact smell and texture. The conditioner was definitely conditioner though. The good: hotel is very modern and clean. There are outside fire pits & places to hangout. The room had all hardwood floors & was aesthetically pleasing, very modern and nice features. There is a nice area to walk around outside with some food options. The city view room did have a nice view from the 7th floor. Overall: I would not stay here again. It looks nice enough on the outside, but it's not a 4 star hotel in my opinion. Too many issues.

Stayed spontaneously overnight on a drive through Phoenix on our way to Flagstaff, and we loved the location. The room and views were great as well and added bonus was the restaurant/bar that was located inside. Dee and Isiah were attentive and friendly and welcomed us to Phoenix happily while we enjoyed the inside/outside area by the bar!

Maydeline at the Spa was very helpful and very in touch with guest needs. One step ahead everytime. Colin really saved the day with making sure we had everything we needed. Brennan was also really helpful at breakfast and bringing us water all the way to the retreat pool. There was a minor hiccup with requesting ice while we were there but they did take care of it and apologized the next day for it not being done promptly, the acknowledgement was great and it really was such a minor thing. The hotel is inspired by the colorful and folk art influenced works of renowned mid-century modern architect and designer Alexander "Sandro" Girard. The hotel's bio says he was the main source of inspiration for the design of the Andaz Scottsdale. The property is beautiful to walk around, with all the landscaping, flowers and trees; some of them are marked with what kind of plant they are. There are century plants and aloe and various cacti. The fitness center is located at the spa. It has windows which open up onto the pool, which is a more private pool than the main pool. The staff is outstanding. Savannah, who ran the front desk on my most recent visit, is absolutely amazing and really helped with any questions or small issues with my stay. The restaurant is wonderful for the hotel breakfast. I recommend having cocktails there too. You can see a beautiful sunset from the bar. I love the open design of this hotel resort because it makes you feel like you're in the countryside and you can admire the beautiful views of Camelback as you walk around the grounds and hear birds chirping. It's so relaxing. Parking is easy and you can usually find a spot right outside your casita room as the parking circles the hotel. Toiletries in the room smell so good! Lavender with sea salt. It's really like staying in a spa! One of my favorite experiences at this hotel was taking a late afternoon outdoor class at the spa/gym on the large lawn where we did stretching/light resistance training with the the sunset behind Camelback Mountain as the backdrop. It was glorious. I definitely recommend trying one of the classes or "experiences" if you stay here. Some of them you have to pay extra for, but a few of them are included with your room rate. At first glance the hotel interiors and architecture seem extremely simple and minimal, but then you realize it's actually all a piece of mid-century modern inspired art. It's really fun to walk around and admire all the understated design details at this hotel.

I decided to order a cookie with ice cream and an old fashioned to take up to my room. Again I tipped 25% My phone has text alert and I noticed the bill was $42.62 for what should have been $22.00 max I bought it to my bar tenders attention and she was working things out on the registry and came back with a receipt that didn't have prices just my order but she had added 1 extra beer. I told her it was wrong and she said it wasn't that the first time she had only charged me for 2 beers and this was my third beer. I did not want to argue so I left it at that but I couldn't sleep thinking about it. I mean dang I even tipped her good. The next day I reached out. To management I don't mind taking care of my servers and I'm always a good tipper. But I don't like being taken advantage of because they think I had a few drinks. Or they think I won't notice extra things. This is not okay. The hotel you check into is supposed to be a safe place like home to enjoy a drink or two. The management offered to refund the first bill of 52.18. But I told him I just wanted what I was over charged refunded plus my tips. At this point I feel she had the chance to correct my bill and make things right but she chose to make me feel like I was in the wrong. After the manager added my first bill up after I told him what I had ordered it turns out she charged 4 beers the first time and not just my 3 and way over charged me the second time. This is a great place to stay but keep an eye on what you order. More so late at night. Also my hot wings were cold in the center but I didn't even mention it to her at the time. As a solo traveler who had just made that drive, being able to walk straight to a room and crash was everything. He took a few minutes to catch me up on what had changed since my last stay; the breakfast situation being the highlight of that conversation, which turned out to be... relevant. The next morning, after a rough experience at breakfast, I mentioned something at the front desk and Donna, the front-end manager, stepped in immediately, not defensively, but genuinely wanting to understand what happened and make it right. That kind of accountability is rare. Saturday night brought a similar hiccup at the bar, and Sayan handled it the same way: professionally, without hesitation. The room was exactly what I've come to expect from Kimpton, clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. But the real story here is the staff outside the restaurant. Dylan, Donna, Sayan, these are hospitality professionals who actually care, and it shows. The hotel itself earns every star.

This was our fourth consecutive year, and we were eagerly anticipating this trip with high hopes for the Omni Scottsdale experience. While the property itself was beautiful and the restaurants were excellent, the spa was an enormous disappointment. The setting had all the makings of a luxurious retreat, but the spa experience fell far short of expectations. Both the interior jacuzzi and the rooftop spa pool had a visible ring of grime made up of oils and skin residue. When I ran my finger along the edge, a chunk of sticky buildup came off--it encircled the entire tub. What made this especially concerning was that I was the very first spa guest to use the jacuzzi on a Saturday morning at 9 a.m. This clearly wasn't buildup from a busy day; it appeared to be the result of weeks or even months of inadequate cleaning and maintenance. There is simply no excuse for that level of neglect at a resort and spa of this caliber. I reported the issue immediately. To her credit, the general manager was gracious and responsive, ultimately comping two nights of our stay, which I genuinely appreciated. Unfortunately, the spa manager did not seem to fully grasp how unacceptable and unsanitary the situation was. I was offered 10% off spa services, but after spending more than $600 specifically to enjoy the spa amenities, I found it impossible to relax or enjoy the experience afterward. Overall, it was deeply disappointing and honestly upsetting, especially given how much we look forward to this annual tradition each year.
